Decided to try a shop again and based on reviews I decided on this one and was glad I did! They got me in same day and the wait was usual while they finished up the client before me. This used to be our favorite place to go for pedicures but two very bad experiences in a row have been very disappointing. I'm not sure if they changed ownership but they seem to have some new people and they not only rush you through but do a horrible job! The time before last, I got an older Man who wouldn't paint my toes (he said he didn't know how) but he did such a bad job that I had to cut and file when I got home. We decided to give them another try and I got a girl who rushed so fast and did a terrible job. Pedicures are a treat for us and we pay enough money for our selections that we should get a little more attn to detail. Please make sure Deanna knows how much I enjoyed the leg and foot massage...she ran out of time...and did a little bit on the left side...the right she did perfectly! I was there in the chair about 45 minutes. I was greeted by the owner. My sister has had her nails done by Tran and his lovely wife Vivian for years and now is bringing my older sister and their husbands. The place is clean...(please make sure that your feet are clean when you receive a pedicure. ) I soaked a little bit before the pedicure. Deanna used a cuticle tool after applying cuticle softener and pushed the cuticle away. My research mentioned this is much better than cutting the cuticle. She used the proper tools for cutting my nails..softly rounding the corner of the toenails so they don't catch on clothing and tear. She used a sanding block to smooth the rough areas of my foot. I asked Deanna to use lotion on my feet instead of oil which may stain clothing. Please would you remember to dry the feet after doing massage and applying lotion. That way, the clients feet don't potentially slip on their shoes or damage the foot bed on a suede sandal or Ugg. I requested no toenail polish. $35 and a 20% tip. I will give a larger tip when both legs feet have been massaged... I really enjoyed the music...it was very relaxing.. read more

I went here yesterday for an acrylic fill. When I walked in the door I told them what I was there for and the lady (I'm assuming owner) said okay but didn't give me an estimate on wait time or say to pick a color. So I spent about five minutes looking at colors, then sat down waiting for a few minutes. The same lady told me to sit in a spot so I sat down and waited longer. She came over to me and didn't say a word, stated taking off my old polish and then said "hold this" and she has me hold the soaked cotton ball on my own finger, then walked away. Well when she walked away I noticed that she was working on someone else's fingers so I waited another five minutes. Then she came back, filed part of my fingers and walked away again to work on another persons nails! I began to realize that she was working on FOUR people at once including me. So everyone was sitting there waiting while she was in a rush to get things done.. I have never experienced this at any other nail place. When she filed my nails she left my thumb filed sideways, very noticeably so I asked her to file it straight. When she filed my fingers she would get her long nail and shove it into my skin to push the skin back which was uncomfortable. When I was done she told me to move and had me sit at another table with no nail dryer so I said "can I get something to dry my nails with?" The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because my nails turned out decent. Also my fill was $17 which is on the cheap side, but so not worth it. I will never be going back to this place. I recently moved to Gresham and have been looking for a nail tech. I went in with the lady in the front asking for the last pic as reference without the rhinestones & with two different colors that I chose, which weren't even the ones she used. The green and pink are what I got. I asked her if she was able to do it and she said she could but its not blended and they were super short. I figured it was okay initially but then she just kept filling and filling till they got so short. I figured then it wouldn't be as much as I was planning on paying but she still charged me $81 for short nails and simple design she didn't even know how to do. Additionally they're so dirty. All their equipment was gross. She would wipe the dirty desk with her brush and then use it to brush the dust off my fingers. I wouldn't care if they didn't look like they don't sanitize. I will never come here again and I would not recommend it to anyone. I ended up filing the color off and doing it on my own. read more

Saw some great pictures online so decided to try this place since my regular salon isn't open on Sundays. 7 out of 10 of my nails are super crooked, she put so much gel polish on that it's thick and lumpy, she filed my nails after the polish had already completely dried, nails started out the length I asked for and then she filed them so much they came out (what I would consider) short. She told me it would be $56 for long nails with a design on my ring fingers then when I ran my card it was $61, when I told her she said $56 before she refused to correct the amount so I signed for the $61 and just decided never to go back. Several days after signing for the $61 she went back and tacked on $5 to my receipt which I'm pretty sure isn't legal. I've filed a fraud claim with my bank for the $5. I had come here before and had liked what they had done so I decided to return to this select nail place. It was a typical experience, the woman who did my nails was nice. But the only thing that bothers me is that I got my natural nails painted with shellac and literally 8 out of 10 of my nails chipped the paint off on the second day of having them painted. I literally just had to peel the remaining paint off since it was catching to everything.. luckily she only charged be $15 for what I believe is a normal $25 fee.. either they knew they missed a step or she was just being nice, I do appreciate that but regardless I feel like I wasted $15 and my time when I could have gone elsewhere and still have beautiful looking nails :/ read more
