Anyway, super strange place. I wasn't too comfortable here. The pedi was administered in a little hot room, I sat in a regular chair and was instructed to put my feet in a old sink looking basin. My feet and toes detected crates at the bottom, so I really felt that was weird. The mani experience wasn't much better! I was told to "lay down and relax" on this weird massage table. My arms were out and the woman started working on my nails. A giant hot water bag was placed on my stomach for relaxation at a certain point??? It was the strangest thing! It was the end of the day, and I believe I was the last client, but the staff still welcomed me warmly. I asked if they had any availability for a pedicure, and without hesitation, the front desk lady brought me over to a chair and began setting things up. Shortly after, Elmira, the nail tech who took care of me, finished the service -- and she was wonderful! Most of the supplies used were disposable, everything came from fresh packaging, and the tools were sealed in sanitized pouches -- a huge plus for me! I had been a client here about six years ago, but I stopped going because back then, the cleanliness wasn't up to my standards. Tools looked reused, and the overall experience didn't feel as sanitary. So this visit was a really pleasant surprise. Elmira didn't rush, even though we finished around 10 minutes past closing time. She took her time cleaning up my nails, massaging, and polishing them -- and I could tell she really cared about doing a good job. That kind of professionalism and attention to detail is rare, especially at the end of a long day. The salon itself is clean -- a little bit outdated in decor, but comfortable. Soft music played in the background at the perfect volume, making the whole experience even more relaxing. Gel pedicure was only $40! For the service I received and the cleanliness of the environment, that's an incredible value. If you haven't been to Pure Nails in a while, or stopped going like I once did, I highly recommend giving them another try. You might be pleasantly surprised like I was!

Never got a discount for that, but to me it is worth not having the polish chip a day later. A few months ago I bought my husband a gift certificate and asked if it was more for a male and they told me $34. Today my husband used the GC and they asked for $3. After I asked why they told me it was $37. We went back and forth with you said, I said and they walked away from me twice. Finally they gave me back $3 and asked me not to return. Their service has been going downhill since they changed owner and apparently losing a longtime customer over $3 is how they do business. DO NOT recommend this place if you are looking for a good nail salon.

When I arrived, I was seated right away. That was a great start. I should have know things could go awry when the lady asked the owner how to fix a small break with a nail. The owner told her to use glue, I knew that myself. The lady did my nail. I paid $5 and I tipped her $5. Fast forward 2 hours later my entire nail came off. While doing nothing, I did not have time to go back to get the nail fixed again. Of course I am annoyed as hell. I paid, and tipped well for my nail to become worse than when I walked in.
