She almost made me to want to walk out of the salon or never come back to this place. - I told her that I wanted to do an almond shape, French-tip manicure just like my co-worker had. She made me feel ... bad about the looks of my hand. I don't think I need to have long, beautiful, perfect hands in order to deserve her services. Correct? - Then I started to tell her about my experience with a UV light I purchased from Target to use at home. Since they are not a professional UV light for gel nails, for some reason, the machine created an extreme heating experience for me, which is why I need to professional nail services at a salon. I hope she understands this: Providing services to a Vietnamese person, someone who looks like you and who came from the same hometown as you did, does not make you inferior to anyone else. You provide the service I need, and I will pay you. We all need to make money and spend money to get what we need. I need my boss to pay me so that I can pay her for the services I cannot do myself. If she doesn't feel inferior providing services to a white female lady, why would she feel "uncomfortable" providing service to me? Are we the same kind, the same ethnicity, supposed to feel any "less" than any other ethnicity existing in this country? If you don't support your own kind, who would support you? If you cannot respect your own kind, who would respect you? Regarding the services she provided, it has been 7 days since Sept 13, and my nails have not chipped at all, no matter how many times I have washed my hands. And this is exactly why we need to come to a professional nail salon for treatment. We want durable nail services. Thank you for the remarkable service and skills she provided. However, fix your attitude and understand your importance to avoid hurting your customers' feelings when you could have made their days and yours better.

That's fine, but the owner was overly aggressive with filing, and he made me bleed twice. He also drilled too hard under my nails resulting in one of them still hurting hours later. After he cut me the first time he apologized. When I asked if he could adjust the lines on the art because he attempted it even though he said the other employee was going to come back to do it, he got frustrated and told me to do it myself. Typically in salons if you need a fine line, they'll use a toothpick or something else smaller than the little bottle brush to get the effect. They did not do that. The lady started my pedicure by removing the nail polish and clipping my toe nails. She proceeded to clean under my nails, but with the wrong tool. She ended up stabbing my big toe underneath my nail bed, and instead of sanitizing it with alcohol she just dipped my foot in the water twice and continued asking me about what color I wanted. At this point, I didn't want her doing my pedicure and decided to leave. I should not be aware and knowledgeable of a nail techs' process and procedures more than them. My toe hurts, and it still bleeding. I'm rating them a two because they were still clean and in a good area, but the quality and skills of just the basic nail care is not up to par.
