Stopped here today to get eyebrows waxed but even though they greeted me nicely, I had to wait. No big deal. I asked to use the restroom and that is where it went down hill fast!! It was so gross! I swear it hasn't been cleaned in way too long. (I won't share the details) On my way back to the front I really looked around and then noticed that the whole place was dirty. I didn't want to be that person who writes a bad review, but when expressing my issue to the company I was hung up on. A week ago on 09/14/24 I came in and got my lashes and nails done. Nails were absolutely amazing, thank you Melanie, lashes on the other hand were not. The male lash artist is the one who was doing my lashes, I had asked for classic, natural and was given a very full looking cat eye. It was my first time receiving a full set of lashes so after getting them done I was a bit shocked. I did express that they seemed a bit much but the female lash tech tried to re-assure me. after getting home and brushing them, the lashes felt clustered together and very painful. I did not wash/wet the lashes for 2 days, as I was told not to. Every day after the appointment, my lashes would continue to be very painful, and hurt to brush. I washed them, dried them, brushed them, but they still seemed to be clustered together on my lash line. Now fast forward to today 09/22/24. The tension on my lashes were becoming too painful to endure any longer, so I decided to remove them at home with Vaseline and hot water. When removing I noticed CLUSTERS of lashes coming out with the extensions, I cried while removing them as more than half of my natural lashes were removed because of the tension. In the midst of removing the painful extensions, I called the company crying. A male voice answered (i assume the one who did my lashes) and expressed how all my natural lashes where coming out because of the tension, I explained I removed them with Vaseline because they became to painful to bare. He said lashes grow back and just to buy a serum, after saying that he immediately hung up on me showing no compassion at all. read more

Horrible lash extensions place, they were nice but would never recommend to get your lashes done here, they glue these clusters on your eyelid, the fumes in the glue are so strong my eyes burned for an hour and they itched so bad if i could give them a 0 I would. read more

Went here because my normal place was closed. My pedicure was fine. They did my nails with an acrylic over lay and tips. They were not smooth but lumpy. No worries as they offered to fix it. They ended up doing a French and what I thought looked better until I got into the store where there is bright light. It is still horrible. I still have access pink paint on my nail, the French part is not smooth and they didn't even get the edges. I should have just had them remove them from the beginning. So I basically just wasted my time and my money. I'll be going to get these redone my normal spot and pay again. Not happy. Never coming here again. read more

This place is the definition of "Don't judge a book by its cover." I came here only because it's owned by the same person who owns my brothers favorite Pho restaurant in Tomball. My brother gave me their card and told me to try it out since it was recently purchased. I had no expectations before I got there but once I was inside, I felt dread pool in my stomach because of the decor on the inside. I didn't want to be that person that just ups and leaves so i stuck it out. That would be the best decision I've made all week. My technician was Tania and I will surely be going back for her service. I got a French tip, which I've never done before but wanted to try, and I am still in complete shock. These are by far the best nails I've ever had. They look so clean and even, which is what I look for when trying new salons. The employees were so accommodating and friendly, which is something rare in today's world. I highly recommend for you to try it, they have more talent that you would originally believe. read more

This review is a long time coming. I took care of my mom while she was sick, and her health deteriorating. But a lady still has to get her mani pedi on, right? It took some explaining, but I was able to get them to bring larger buckets so she could get her pedi while getting a refill. I did have to be a little demanding, and insistent, becuase there was no way she was going to climb in and out of the chair in her condition. Even though they offered to help her in and out, they obliged my request to give a pedicure on the floor, at the nail station. After being along the far wall getting my own pedi, I thought I heard my mom call for me. The technician helped me out of the chair, helped with my shoes, and let me check on my mom. It turned out she just wanted to check on me. She was still rehabilitating from a stroke and felt more comfortable when she could see me. The staff moved me over to the other end (it had just freed up) so we could see each other for the rest of my pedicure. Mom was still learning her speech again, and they were genuinely patient and understanding, in pleasing her, and answering her questions. I am so grateful for their service and sensitivity to our special needs that day. I still go back to them for pedicures. I grin whenever I see the desk that mom had her last mani/pedi. And while they may not remember that was me causing the fuss that January day in 2015, my eyes get a little watery each time I'm seated facing the table, where my mom was able to see me and feel better. She used to have another regular spot. But I needed to bring her to this place, where they were much more considerate. read more

I told the man at the reception desk I wanted a French manicure on my natural nails. THEN I told the technician I wanted a French manicure on my natural nails. This is NOT an unusual or difficult request. The technician either didn't understand, or she did what she wanted to anyway, even though I kept stopping her and trying to correct it. In the end, she rounded my natural nails, even though I told her stop filing, French manicures have square tips. I told her stop "roughing up" my nail beds, this is NOT for acrylic nails. Then she painted it one color, instead of white tips. When I told the technician this isn't what a French manicure looks like, she said this is what I asked for! It will take months before my nails grow out enough to correct the damage. I won't be returning to this salon. read more

Nice salon. They're open until 8pm on weekdays, which is great for someone like me who has a long commute home from downtown and can't get there by 6pm. I came here as a walk-in for a gel manicure and a pedicure. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and it wasn't too expensive. It didn't feel rushed, but they got me in and out, which I appreciated. Plenty of parking around, so it's very easy to access. I'll definitely go back here. read more

I have been coming to Happy Nails since I was still in HS. I used to go to Houston Skin and Nails across the street until Terry and her husband opened this place. My Mom will only go to Terry, ever! I love the spa pedicures. All the ladies and gents massage your feet and legs so well and for so long. Ever design I have ever gotten has been perfect. The prices are so reasonable! I move to Austin last year and I wait until I come back to visit my Mom so that I can come to Happy Nails. No where in Austin can compare! read more

I am usually a regular at Flamingo Nails, but since they were closed on Sunday I decided to try Happy Nails. I should have just waited until the next day. Although they were nice people, the woman who did my nails was extremely rushed and did not take her time at all. First of all, when she was taking off my older acrylic nails she did not do it correctly or painlessly. Rather than soaking them like you are supposed to, she just clipped them and ripped them off by hand. It was extremely painful. When she went on to doing my nails, I noticed she was just trying to get them done fast as possible. My nails were crooked, glue residue was left under my nails, and she didn't check to see if they were even the same length on both hands. I told her that some of them looked sideways but she tried telling me it was just my nails. Let's just say I will not be visiting this place again. Flamingo Nails is 10X better and only a minute away! read more

This was probably the worst nail salon I've ever been too. Pushy technicians who don't listen. I've never had a worse mani/pedi in my life. I went in with my sister, they didn't understand that we would have preferred to sit together and that we didn't mind waiting until enough technicians were available so that this could happen. They practically pushed my sister into a chair on the complete opposite end of the room. I had had a stressful week and went in with the intention of spending extra money on a deluxe pedicure. At no time did they ask me if I wanted anything other than a basic pedicure but I guess I was lucky to even get that because I did not get anything other than take polish off, put polish on. They didn't even ask me what color I wanted, they had shoo'd me into the pedicure chair before I could even get my shoes off and then it was too late to get a color and I had to describe what kind I wanted and they brought over some for my to choose form. The man who did my sisters manicure apparently was new because she told me afterwards he was bitching to her the whole time he did her nails about how much he hated working there. The two ladies were on me talked the entire time (probably about me) Mani/Pedi's are a luxury I enjoy treating myself to once a month, even though a lot of people consider it a waste of money, but this was a SERIOUS waste of money. read more

Not a good experience. Well, my Grandma, mom, and I have been waiting here for a good 45 minutes after being told it would only be a 15 minute wait. The salon is also not that full... I'm assuming if we would have made an appointment we would have already been tended to, but why tell someone it will be a 15 minute wait? Not to mention another group of 3 came in after us and are apparently regulars because they know them by name. They obviously did not have an appointment either and 1 was taken before us. We came to this nail salon looking for a nice relaxing girls day mani/ pedi and needless to say we will never be returning. Definitely a WASTE of time. I was also having a conversation with my mom about how this was not a 15 minute wait at all when the man rudely interrupted our conversation to tell us that it would just be a couple more minutes. This nail salon has to be the worst salon I have ever been to. Horrible service. Update: It was an hour before my mom was taken for her manicure(not even acrylic) and my Grandma was taken back for a pedicure about 10 minutes later...
