So I went in to get some acrylic nails and glued on sizes a tad to big and then when they went to file my pinky nails they cut the side of my pinky finger and had done all different shapes on my nails like sum are coffin some are almond some are just round and I had told the lady what I wanted exactly and she did what she wanted to do with the French nails not what I wanted and I asked her to fix some nails but she just kept doing her thing so at the end I was crying and panicking bc my fingers had hurt from when she cut me and I had told her that she was hurting me but she kept saying ur okay ur not bleeding even tho there was literally blood on my finger it was also a hand file not a electric file read more

went here today and i'm not sure how to leave a review for a specific person but it was a girl in her late teens-early 20s? (im terrible with guessing ages but she was the youngest tech i saw, wearing a bt21 shirt. i was anxious as i haven't had a mani/pedi in awhile, and im a very introverted person. i really appreciated her being quiet through the experience and not forcing an awkward conversation. she made sure i was okay with my arms being massaged (i have scarring on my arms) and told me what was happening/what to do throughout the time she was working. not to be corny but she honestly helped my anxiety go down, and matched my energy. thank you mystery nail tech!! read more

Yea....someone named Lisa put 2 nails on crooked, I told her they were crooked and she still kept trying to do my nails, I stopped her 3 times to re-do them, finally, she stopped, got mad and had a guy come to them and she threw her drill fine, it was so cringe AF and awkward after!!!!! Then.....I was charged $55 and she looked at me like what? When I did NOT leave a tip!!!! Lisa-my tip to you is to listen and help your customer with a smile!!!! (I tip 25-50% everywhere I go so....yea....get better at customer service!!!! read more

Very friendly, clean and covid19 safety in place. They didn't have rose gold color which is one of the popular color. Seems like they don't carry the new trending colors but they have huge selection of colors. The one i chose was pretty as well. A guy did my gel nails and he aS professional and kind. read more

Great service very nice people however if you want anything other than the basics I wouldn't go here. They did great on my acrylic nails but I asked for a design on my toenail and it looks like my 6 year old did it. I would go back if I just wanted the normal but not for any sort of designs. read more

I went to this nail salon Friday, May 26, 2017. Two days ago. I got a pedicure and a full set. I paid for the deluxe pedicure, there was nothing deluxe about it. The lady that did my toes and nails, was Diann. She seemed like a sweet lady, but I feel like there was a language barrier. When she got to doing my nails, I was telling her what I wanted and she kept saying that I was "picky". She misshaped my nails, and messed up the color and when I asked her to fix it, she complained that I was "picky". She ended up cutting two of my fingers when she was doing my cuticles. And then poured some solution that she said was "oil" AFTER I complained about my fingers hurting. It was not oil! It made it worse. My fingers look horrible. My two fingers have an infection because of her! My toes do no look like I just got them done 2 days ago. She didn't even have the courtesy to be contrite and apologize, or even offer a discount! I was still charged full price for some horrible looking nails and toes that look like a child painted them! I will NEVER go back to FASHION NAILS on Cantrell! And I will be advising every one I know, to do the same. read more

My girlfriend and I decided to take a road trip cross country from NY to LA. After ending on the road for 4 days straight, we really needed to feel like ladies again. So when we stopped in Little Rock, we immediately searched for a nail salon- it was time for a mani/pedi! I'm from LA and let me tell you....this was one of the best quality nail salons I have ever been to! And the customer service was great. These fools think people are stupid. My shellac started chipping a few days after I got my nails done their for the first time. He told me it was because of the way I pick things up. Shellac has to be drilled off. Mind you, I have been getting shellac for over a year somewhere else. A friend of mine said try Fashion Nails since it was closer to my job, so I did. Never again!!!!!! I picked a color that looked closer to the one I had, but it was the wrong color. The man painted my nails only where the shellac chipped. I said sir, this color doesn't match, he told me it was because I had fresh and old polish on my nails. I asked well why didn't you re-polish my whole nail. He said it was because I should have came in with-in a few days of my nails chipping. The overall point is shellac never chips, so it shouldn't matter when I come in. Just because I didn't meet your ugly ass standards doesn't mean anything. Not all people are trying to get over that's why I turned the other cheek...... And then he had his friend sitting by him, I guess just in case I got loud for back up. Trust and believe this location isn't color blind if you know what I mean. read more

I went to Fashion Nails for years, and always loved my results. However, that past couple of times I've been it's been horrible and not worth the money. I recently had the dip polish and my nails already had dip on them. I told them it was my first time having the nails dipped, so I wasn't sure what to expect for removal. The place I had the dip performed was amazing and the girl told me it is not damaging to nails like gel is. While I was with the other place their clients just soaked the dip polish off--they did not file at all to remove this other lady's dip polish. So that is what I expected at Fashion Nail---I was wrong!!! The electric nail file was used to take the top layer off, then I soaked. The electric nail file was painful during some parts under my nail bed. My nails soaked to 5 min, then they used the electric nail file to finish getting powder off. Once that was done, they said it didn't look like I needed a manicure and I said no, just a few nails need to be trimmed down, and I was told they would do that later. They proceeded to use the electric nail file again to file the top, and edges of my nail end and cuticles. I sustained several cuts from this and informed them and they continued on. I really should have walked out at this point, but I had never experienced this before so I was uncertain what to do. After filing they had me wash my hands and started the dipping process. After the dipping process, they proceeded to trim my nails down with the electric nail file!!! Which in my thoughts destroys the tip of the nail coating. At the end of it, I was still charge full price and my fingers and nails hurt to touch for the next 24 hours. I will never, never, never, go back and will never recommend them again. read more

I popped in to this shop after lunch for a basic american manicure. The service was not good. The only positive was that there was no wait for service. The manicure itself, however, was awful. My hands and cuticles are still dry. Very little lotion was used during the massage portion of the manicure. The worse part, however, is that the person who performed my manicure did the white tips first and then covered the ENTIRE nail with the clear pink. The result? The tips of my nails are all pink instead of white. Defeated the purpose of the american manicure completely. I have been a customer at numerous nail shops throughout my life and this is the first time that I have written a review of any kind. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

This place is very clean which is a plus. If you want a simple pedi or mani I'm sure this place is fine. I got two lacquer manicures on two different occasions by two different people and was disappointed. Before the first manicure, I felt rushed to pick a color. I don't know why because it was 9:00 am on a weekday and the place was empty. The polish was applied very gloppy and it started peeling after 10 days. And I peeled off the lacquer on every nail (which is a no-no) and decided to take a break and strengthen my nails. A month later, I returned to fashion nail for my the second lacquer manicure: the woman did not trim my nails and they were all varying lengths; some short and some long. Oddly after she applied the first coat of paint she picked little bits off my nail that were leftover from the filing process. After I paid I noticed a bubble on my middle finger. After 3 days my nails started tearing and I had to cut and file to avoid peeling. I lost the lacquer completely on one finger after only 6 days. Went to a different salon to remove this mess. Four salons: fashion nail was the worst for a relatively simple lacquer manicure. read more
