Cute store at first with a lot of tanks, crop tops, dresses and jeans. My teenage daughter and I were excited to check this new store out (We've never shopped at a Fashion Q before.), but we quickly realized how thin a lot of the items were. That would explain for the low prices seen from the outside. It's like a cheaper, cheaply made version of Forever 21 fashions or something. She still happily tried on and purchased a cute jeans skirt. We have yet to see how long the zippers on it will hold up. Also, I will add that the one sales lady working had no personality. She just stood around staring at us and didn't say a word when we went to check-out. This shop is wild!!!! Worst service. Asked if fitting rooms were open. She said no they were closed. Soooo I bought something came back to do an exchange and then they said fitting rooms were opening at 2 and I could wait. I said why they didn't say that before AND CHICK GOES "WELL YOU DIDNT ASK" like what!!! I also did ask another worker and just said "so!". Offer that!!!! That's so rude and SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! My first experience here was decent -- However, I recently came back a second time to exchange two items. Their fitting rooms have been closed since covid, so the only options are exchanges and returns in exchange for store credit. No cash back. Upon my second visit, I was met with unprofessional and poor customer service. The heavy asian lady continuously rolled her eyes during our conversation. I shook it off and ended up browsing the store, then asked if I was able to do the exchange on another day and just keep the receipt. She ignores my question and waddles over to the register only to hand me my entire bag back. I ask her for her name so I can refer to her the next time I come back to make an exchange. She takes a long pause, squints at me rudely and replies "I don't have to tell you my name, ok?" I was surprised by her attitude and absence of professionalism in our interaction. Her hostile response was amusingly confusing and highlighted her lack of tact and emotional self control. Because of that, I immediately knew she wasn't worth arguing with. But, one thing's for sure: she's completely aware of her attitude and frankly, doesn't care. This kind of "leadership" in a retail establishment are almost always destined to crash and burn. With the rest of the similar reviews online, I wouldn't be surprised if their performance declines. Between slogan tank tops and flimsy see-through material, their budget luxury collection might barely be their only saving grace. At this point, I'm more than thrilled to spend the extra money for clothes elsewhere. read more

Temecula Promenade mall location - Since they don't have a YELP for this location yet, I'll put this right here. Being that the Temecula location is in a mall, they are probably counting on the fact that people who shop there are already in the mall shopping and don't take the time to look at reviews online. First time shopping there today, bought pants and sunglasses. The lighting is dim in the store so when I headed outside to my parked vehicle and put my new sunglasses on, I immediately noticed that the lenses were covered in scratches. I walked right back into the store with my receipt and showed two employees and asked for an exchange. They admitted that they were scratched, but they said they would not exchange them. They literally sold me something that looks like used merchandise, or at the very least poorly taken care of, which says a lot about their products. When they say 'final sale', they don't care that they just sold you crap. Do yourself a favor, look at all of 'Fashion Q' Yelp reviews for their open and now closed locations. There is a reason they are getting 1 and 2 stars on Yelp. They don't seem to care about negative Yelp reviews or their customers satisfaction with their product. If I could leave no stars I would... this place is terrible and the manager is literally the worst most unprofessional lady at the Escondido location. I went in there yesterday and asked about some shorts I was told the dressing rooms were closed and asked if they were pretty stretchy the lady told me yeah, and I asked about the return policy I was told I had 14 days to bring it back. That was ALL SHE SAID. She did not tell me that I had 14 days and could only exchange them or get store credit bc If she had I would not of bought anything there seeing as I had a feeling the shorts wouldn't fit. The shirt I bought was also very cheap material and honestly would just never shop there again for that sole reason. But after going in today to return the shorts and the manager handling the whole situation very poorly I will never go back. read more

And by the time the trend is over, the clothes wearability is too lol All the reviews with low scores are from people who don't remember stores like this (what Forever 21 use to be that made them great) a place where you can get cute cheap clothes, shoes and super affordable trendy jeans and jackets without breaking the bank. The woman who I'm assuming is the store manager of this shop is so rude. I went back in to make an exchange 10 minutes after my first purchase. Why? Because their fitting rooms are closed and they only do exchange or store credit... which would lead one to think they would be more accommodating but as soon as I walked in the sales associate informed me that I had 15 minutes until they closed, which I was already aware of since I also work in this mall. And immediately after I walked in they closed the doors. Then at 7:50 the manager told any customers trying to come in that they were already closed and then she turned to me and said she was closing the registers now. (Barely 5 minutes after the associate had told me I had 15 minutes) She didn't even ask if I was ready or suggest I come back tomorrow when I have more time to look around. Like I said, I also work in retail and I totally get being tired and wanting to go home at the end of the night, but overall the job is customer service so having to wait 10 minutes so you can have a satisfied customer when the store isn't even technically closed yet, should not be an issue. Would not recommend shopping here to ANYONE. The fact that they've had their fitting rooms closed since before covid and have no plans to open them, yet still only offer exchange/ store credit is borderline a scam because the clothes are so cheap 9/10 times they won't even fit. I really hope they start treating their customers better because I don't understand how someone that rude could be working in customer service. read more

I'm all for buying clothes at a decent price, especially because I'm usually on a low budget when it comes to shopping - but this place is a bit too cheap. The material used for their clothes always looks so worn out and "old". I rarely find anything worth wearing in here, but one time, when I did and was going to try them on - I got denied using their fitting rooms. Reason being, that they CLOSE THEIR FITTING ROOMS FIFTEEN MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING TIME. What does that even mean?? Forever 21, Macy's, not even Charlotte Russe does that! To start off like the last time I was there the entire store was suffocating ,it smelt like mold and sewer. When I got to the cash register the lady did not know how to do returns so she called over the owner. Once the owner finished putting my returns in and handed my new clothes to me.While doing this not acknowledgeing me at all.Then I asked if I could return them.And she said " no you can't just return and return over and over again", then I said "what if it doesn't fit correctly",and she said" you can't return them". Bought a shirt at the store in Escondido. Didn't realize they had an "exchange only" policy until I got home and the shirt didn't fit. Went to this location and spent a good 20 min trying to find another shirt worthy of the exchange and the cashier tries to tell me they can't take my original shirt back because they don't have it anymore. I just bought it in Escondido on Sunday?? She told me to go back to Escondido to exchange it or try to go upstairs to their other store and exchange it. If the store upstairs might take it, how about we save the trouble and you just take it back and run it upstairs when we're done? Idk just an all around dodgy store and once I get this shirt exchanged, I won't be shopping here anymore. I came in this store for the first time to do a little shopping for a night out with some friends and my experience was less than satisfactory. First off, I work in a retail store so I know all the procedures. I know when I'm being "cased" and let me tell you it's not a good feeling when all you're trying to do is shop! As I was walking around the store, I noticed one of the young ladies who worked there was INDISCREETLY following me! Yeah, I get it, people do shoplift and you have to be watchful BUT she could have at least been subtle about it. This girl literally walked right beside me and didn't even pretend to be doing anything! I looked at her and she even gave me a dirty look. So since she was just trailing me around the store, I asked her if she could ring me up at the register and she says no and then points to the girl at the register. Wow. I almost put the clothes down and walked out. So you can follow me around but can't ring me out? What are you there for then? The only good thing I can say about this store is one of the other associates was very helpful to me and even got a few shirts down off the wall that were too high for me and was super friendly. The store doesn't seem to be doing well financially and it sucks that nice associates like that tend to lose their job when the store goes under (and this one looks to be heading out the door tbh) so I still bought an outfit. But I probably won't shop here again because of my first experience with the associate following me around like she's asset protection or something. (Newsflash, sweetie. You're wearing a name tag. This place is a f*cking rip off they say you can exchange your item within 14 days not counting dresses of course but when you go to exchange your item within the 14 days and plan on buying more on top of that they find a reason not to exchange it. So I wanted to exchange a shirt plus buy a couple more I had a receipt was within the 14 days and they said I had the wrong receipt that I needed another one. Well this was the only receipt I was given so she told me no they couldn't help me. So f*ck this place they've just lost a customer!!!! It sucks I have to give this place one star. read more
