He was as friendly as he was knowledgeable. I took a while trying to find a shoe that worked for me, but he wasn't pushy and he made me feel like he valued my opinion and prioritized my needs. At one point there was four shoppers, and only himself, and he never left me (or the other clients) hanging. Yesterday I went to a shoe store in Solana Beach on 101 that treated me like dirt, so this was quite a pleasant contrast. The unwillingness to even try to locate the transaction or offer another solution was incredibly frustrating. I've shopped at their stores in Carlsbad Village and enjoyed supporting local businesses, but this experience completely changed that. I won't be shopping at Blues and Shoes, Flourish, or Rivers & Roads again. I know Nike would stand behind their product if it caused harm to the customer. I am now taking it up with Nike since Shoe palace won't do anything about it. Just disappointing. I will no longer return here to shop since I know they don't care about customer service. We have never had an issue like this before with a product from shoe palace. I have learned they will not stand behind the products they sell with a fit warranty. Note to consumers: Buy direct from Nike where they stand behind their product, worn or not, for 60 days. It's just not worth it when you spend over $100 on shoes. Lesson learned and unfortunately the manager, Sal, did not make any efforts to try and retain us as customers.

He took the time to perform a fit test to evaluate her stance and better understand what type of shoe would best suit her lifestyle and needs. My mom is always hesitant because most stores never have her shoe size in stock, but Adam patiently listened to her concerns and managed to find three different pairs for her to try. What impressed us most was that all three were styles she never would have considered on her own, yet they were incredibly comfortable and fit her perfectly. There is nothing more important than having comfortable shoes. Our feet support our balance and mobility every day, so finally finding shoes that provided both comfort and style meant the world to her. First asked for clarification about how discounts work. Then a price check. After the sale I walked over to confirm sign. I was happy to try a different pair and find other options they had currently in stock, but was told I would be put on a wait-list with no other solutions. 2 days later I finally received a cancellation notice. As a loyal customer, I really felt like I was overlooked and the staff member was dismissive. The employee offered to clean them for me which I thought was a little weird. I don't know about you, but I'm not paying $85 for used shoes. So I went ahead and purchased another pair online and they arrived in three days. (See images) What are the chances They tried to sell me another obviously used pair? Filth! When I took them to the POWAY location they were very nice and refunded my money. The employee explained that their policy is to just clean the dirty, used shoe and resell it for the new price-- and that my particular pair of shoes came from STORE 697. The ENCINITAS location. It was explained to me that the employee at that store , (employee number 295956) who prepared the order didn't clean the shoe before they resold it to me for the new price. I've been a rewards member for years And have been shopping at famous footwear my whole life. That ends today. Order from an honest seller. Reselling dirty shoes for new prices is not only unhygienic but it's unethical and bad business practice. I'm Disgusted that I've purchased ALL of my kids shoes through this company.
