I have made 3 orders from this site and they were all smooth and I got to save A LOT on COD (for Canada) because they use USPS. Wooo! First order -- a strappy bra thing. Super cheap cause I wanted to test them out first. Second order -- the most amazing platform wedges that were on sale for $12!!! They arrived in perfect condition with NO extra handling/etc fees even though they came in a box! Totally wasn't expecting that. Wears is alright. A bit on the heavy side but quality is decent -- about ALDO-level quality. Third order -- knock-off version of the One Teaspoon "Eagles Shadow Bikini" which details for $120 on Nastygal and was selling on GoJane for $30. I'm a 32C and took a gamble and ordered M/L instead of S/M and thank GOD I did. The material is not amazing compared to the One Teaspoon version but for $30, I'm way happy. Fourth order -- after my last order, GoJane sent me a 40% off coupon! Why they decided to do this now and never before, I have no idea but I just used it on these lace-up cut-out boots that look exactly like mid-level designer ones I've seen on NastyGal. With discount, shoes were under $20. Plus they sent me follow-up e-mails to make sure that I received my orders. I mean, if I hadn't, I don't know how helpful the e-mails would have been... but I did! So yay. ~~PROS~~ - constant discounts -- things get dirt cheap if you wait for their 50-60% off events - fast shipping with tracking -- I got my order in 10 days, which is faster than most sites whose warehouses are closer. (I live in Toronto.) - no COD for Canada, no handling fees for boxes!! - cute styles!! I think they are actively plagiarizing NastyGal... I came in here because I wanted to see what was in this small little plaza, and I bumped into this cute little store. They barely just opened not awhile ago. The girl Stephanie who was working told me they will have more variety of prints for the custom shirts. She even told me they can do Gucci prints, Versace prints and other prints too. I was just curious because they had some out already, but they weren't in my size. I'm a size small and all they had were medium-plus sizes out. I love wearing shirts and pants in the house, so I'm always looking to buy more in other types of prints. I ended up buying a Buddha Jade pendant because it was so freaking cute, and as I get order I'm more obsessed with Jade and Gold. I asked Stephanie if she had any gold chains that can go with the pedant I was buying. She helped me picked out one, and helped me cut out this little ball that was dangling at the end cause the pendant was small. The dangling ball definitely won't go through it. She did a fantastic job even though she didn't have too. I honestly am not crafty, so I had to ask her to do it. I hope they get more items in this store. I will definitely be back. It has a huge parking lot, the outside is kept clean, and for the most part, the main aisles are easy to navigate. The Sephora inside is a great addition, and that specific section always looks pristine. While the clothing and shoe departments can get a little shuffled during busy weekend rushes, it isn't too hard to find what you're looking for. Finding an employee on the floor to help with a fitting room can sometimes take a minute, but they are always friendly once you track them down. Plus, dropping off an Amazon return at the back desk is always a breeze, and the staff working that station are consistently quick and polite. The absolute best improvement they've made recently is adding the self-checkout registers. Checking out used to drag on a bit during peak hours, but the new self-checkout option makes getting out the door so much faster, especially if you just have a few basic things. Even when the main traditional lines look a little long, the self-serve kiosks keep the flow of foot traffic moving. It's a reliable, convenient store and definitely a great place to knock out some quick shopping.

I asked if she could help order them online because they didn't have my size in the store. Problems arose when online prices came up as different from in-store prices, so I asked if she could price-match because I've shopped at Loft many times and all stores have been able to do this for me. Her first response was "no it's not letting me". I insisted if she could try again because I know it can be done. By this point, she was having technical difficulty so she was switching from iPad to computer then to iPad. By now, she looked really annoyed. Before placing the order, I asked if I can review it to make sure everything is correct. She pointed the iPad to me, and read each item and prices out-loud really quickly, pretty much pressing me to hurry up. (No one was behind me in line. In fact, it was really slow in the store. There was maybe another 1 or 2 customers browsing in the store.) Then, I had the audacity to ask "I'm sorry what is the in-store price of this dress again?" She grabbed the tag on the dress and pointed it against my face "it's $39.99!" She topped it off with "I don't have to do this for you. So here's your order..!" Then started to recite everything in her iPad again.. I was pretty fed up by this point. I said, "you don't have to read to me. I can read. I just want to confirm everything is correct." I asked if she's the manager and ofcourse she replied "Yeah yeah I actually am" with the BIGGEST attitude, as if she owns the entire Ann Taylor Loft cooperation and could give zero crap on how to treat a customer. (Even if you are CEO, humility is a key to success) I then asked "are you the only manager of this store? There's no body higher than you?" She replied "No." Moving on, I had some in-store purchase so she handed me off to another associate to ring me up. I asked the second associate for name of just anybody above Monique (she must have a boss right?). Monique overheard our conversation, walked over, wrote the name of her boss on a card while challenging me "It was that bad huh?" (By this time, I'm just thinking what the hell is wrong with her? How are you in retail if your attitude is this bad!?) Monique tried to apologize with a very unapologetic tone of voice. I stopped her and said that your body language speaks a lot more than the words that come out of your mouth. She replied with "well it's all perception". Uh well hell yes it is. I walked away because why would I need to deal with this psycho for another second of my life? As I walked out of the store, Monique said: "I'll let my boss know to expect a call from you, because you were SUCH A PLEASURE to deal with." Moral of the story is, this was the absolute worst customer service experience. I'm shook that Loft has an associate like Monique as a "manager". I also work in customer service so I know how bad it gets. But it's usually the other way around - customers harassing associates, not associates harassing customers. Thanks to the second associate for keeping her cool. Poor girl, she looks new to retail and looks scared as hell of Monique. I hope store 824 takes this matter seriously and retrain your staff.
