Experienced customers know car repairs cost, no problem, that's on customer. But employee, Emanuel, made process alot less stressful, with his personable personality. That, plus the comfortable waiting area you guys provide, is key reason why I will continue to refer. Suggestion? When I brought it back to address the hazard, Dan refused to take accountability. He flat-out lied that nothing was loose and spoke down to me with blatant, condescending sexism, assuming I knew nothing about cars. I hold a degree in automotive engineering; the only reason my vehicle was in their garage was a temporary lack of tools, not a lack of technical knowledge. Miraculously, after the "inspection" where they insisted nothing was wrong, the car suddenly drives completely fine. They fixed their dangerous mistake behind my back while actively trying to make me look stupid to cover up their own negligence. Dismissing a critical safety issue and treating customers with patronizing disrespect is entirely unacceptable. Unprofessional, dishonest, and incompetent.

I finally found a auto repair company that does business the way it should be done!…read moreHonest, fast, polite! They will now be our household's new place for auto repair and upkeep. Our Nissan rogue flashed a warning that there was no oil in the car and to pull over immediately. Which we did. We were confused because there didn't seem to be any oil leaks, and the oil plug looked like it was still in place. (my husband neglected to tell me he stopped checking the fluid levels monthly.) As our previous auto mechanic closed his shop, we hadn't had a chance to find a new one. So we looked on yelp and noticed clutch auto was only a few miles away although they seemed fairly new. They had only a couple reviews, but they were positive. So I decided to give them a try and called them and made an appointment for the same day and had the car towed to them. They did a full inspection and did not see anything wrong with the oil other than it needed it. They suggested an oil change however their inspection showed that there was some work that needed to be done on the suspension I requested photos however they had already taken them, which really impressed me seconds later they sent me a full report, including photos showing what needed to be repaired and why. By the end of the day, all the work was done. And I picked it up the next morning. I'm really impressed that they did NOT try to say other work needed to be done, as most other places would. Instead they were honest and explain that they would consider the suspension was in the yellow zone needing to be done soon, but could be put off a little bit if necessary. The cost for a full synthetic oil change was much less than five minute oil, However, I asked if they had a senior citizen discount they did not however they did have a 10% off first time customer discount, which brought the full job (oil change/suspension work) significantly in price.

Confident and relieved we'd found a "go to" mechanic in Phoenix, one month later the car began experiencing intermittent power steering outage issues. Our son (in college and alone far from home) immediately brought the car back in, but AMC essentially refused to pop the hood, or otherwise even look at the car "unless the driver could replicate the issue". Two weeks later power steering and AC completely failed on a busy highway (due to a leaking radiator hose that ultimately fried the alternator). Paid an additional $800.00 (plus towing) to a competitor to fix what AMC should've caught. Also, AMC hours are now M-Th and of course this emergency happened on a Friday. First time Yelp has led me astray. 9/9/2026 - Owner Gilberto immediately reached out on Yelp below apologizing and asking for submission of additional repairs documentation to handle the case "fairly". To be fair, I did not go into specifics of prior phone interactions with Gilberto - owner - after the car was first towed to AMC and the had to be retowed to another shop due to AMC's inability to handle after hours emergencies (eg., no closed parking, nor key drop or other available). While all calls with were professional and courteous, Gilberto was ultimately unhelpful and disappointing (leaving us with limited options). The fact that AMC refused to do anything after the car was brought in by our son (for scary warning signs similar to the original problems) just prior to a catastrophic (towable) failure on a busy roadway is what is unacceptable. Not saying AMC is a bad business, they just really blew it. For minor car maintenance (oil changes and tire repairs) AMC is probably great. For major car repairs go elsewhere in the valley, please.

It's unfortunate that I did not receive the same service this time that I did on my last vehicle…read more Today is Jan 19. The situation with my Ford F150 began when it was first towed to Lee's on October 27, 2025. As of today, it still isn't running. I had gotten it back twice before. Ty had assured me both times that it would be good to go. Welp, this is the third time it stalled on me out in public. First time was in the Starbucks drive thru (yeah, fun). Second time was northbound on 19th Ave, but I was able to coast into a parking lot at a Brazilian Ju Jitsu place. This time? In the left turn lane near my house. Yeah, left turn lane with a green arrow and people behind me honking to go. (It took me a sec to activate the hazards, but the light in front of me was already green to turn). I had confidence each time he gave it back to me. I kept having it towed to Lee's. First time I got it back was after $2700+ in repairs. Second time he said it was just loose/old wiring that had to be fixed (didn't charge me for that). Third time he said my gas gauge was broken so even though it was reading quarter tank, it was actually empty. I'm not sure that was the case as I actually just put enough gas in the tank to move the gauge up the day before it stalled. Gauge had gone up to 3/4 tank. *sigh* I wanted to like them after they did so good with my first car. I don't think I'll be back here anymore. I have the truck with a different mechanic now (he is a mobile mechanic). Fingers crossed this new mechanic works out better. Each time the F150 was dropped off with Ty, he averaged 2-3 weeks with it. This very last time was 1 month + 1 day. Good thing it is my secondary vehicle.
