I have been going here for oil changes and inspections for 10 years now. Always had good and professional service. On 11/19/2025went to eat my car inspected. No one waiting in line when I pulled up. Attendant came to the window and asks what I needed. I said inspection and he said I would have to make an appointment. I could go in side and make it or call. Told him you just lost a customer. Recently brought car in which we used this place for many years. For minor things this time went to have transmission maintenance service done and oil change $320. After paying him he goes for test drive and gives an an estimate for $4000 for alot of other things that need to be done. Now he says oh After test drive u have a broken front control arm and very dangerous to drive est $966 So because we always had gone there we said OK made the appt for a week later because we hardly use the car. So go to himladt thurs. Pay him the $966 now he goes to test drive comes back and says u need a EV axle joint in front He said u should leave car here its really dangerous to drive price quote $600 plus Car was shaking like crazy which in the week leading up to the visit there was no problem. My husband says u must of did something when u put the control arm in. So we took car home tried calling around to see if someone could fix it. Because what ever they did car was shaking like it was going to fall apart. Lucky we found another shop in Calabash that agreed to help us and fix it. We contacted the garage that did the damage to get some kind of compensation to fix what they did wrong and owner say "well there was wear and tear on the axel" we said no wear and tear doesn't mean broke. So they offered to split the charge to fix it after we already paid almost $1000 for the control arms. And now this is broke we said no way all they want is money. Will never go back there again cannot trust that garage. So sad they took advantage of us. read more

So sorry that I did not read the reviews before going here for an inspection of my BMW. Wow...they failed my inspection saying I needed to replace the tension rod bushings...Failed the inspection...said I could make the appointment for repairs and wrote down what I would have to have done...said it would be several hundred dollars because of the labor involved...Thank God my spirit said take it to the shop I use for normal repairs in Wilmington......so I did....They took it apart and did a diagnostic...NO Problems...passed the inspection! Went back the the shop...they would not even refund the original inspection fee and denied that the repairs were needed to pass it even though I had it in writing from them...They treated me very rudely, but from the other comments this seems to be a normal response from this shop. This was an unbelievable experience. I went here for convenience as it was close to my home but from now on I will just make the drive! Find someone you can trust and this isn't it! read more

Went for oil change (which was much more expensive than my garage, but needed to get it done before leaving town), next day noticed my car was leaking oil all over my new driveway. Brought it in and they tightened up the gasket/nut that was somehow loose--of course they didn't admit it was them, but did not charge me at least. Less than a week later, while driving on the highway, I heard some scraping noise. Pulled off the road and looked underneath my car and the metal cover that they remove to change the oil was hanging down and only one bolt still attached. I tied it up with rope and went back to the garage AGAIN--now the 3rd time and they put zip ties on it and said they couldn't say it was their fault because I could have run something over and knocked it down. They offered to order them for me but would not agree to pay for the bolts. Manager not in, but from what I see on the other reviews, it would not have made a difference. They can't even manage a simple oil change. I will never go back and I will use word of mouth to let others know to proceed at their own risk at Fast Eddie's. read more

I have been getting my car serviced at Fast Eddie's for about 10 years, or at least since they opened. I have never had a problem. I received a good price on new tires last year and when I went back yesterday because one of the tires had a slash cut in it ( road hazard ), they installed a new tire at no cost. I find the office young lady to be present and competent. I have had repairs, oil changes, inspections, tires and other things done all without a problem and for what I think is a fair price. By the way, if you go to the NCDOT web site, you will find that the state inspection law requires testing of window tint (aftermarket) for an additional charge of $10. Its the law. Just sayin..... Why only 4 stars ? I don't give 5 stars, because there is usually room for improvement. For example, I didn't like the channel that the tv was set to in the waiting room. read more

Went there today to get Simple inspection and oil change done. Took my car in right away very nice no problems. I have an 07 Town & Country which has a little bit of front bumper damage. The car runs mechanically perfect drives mechanically perfect. They said nothing to me and did the work. When they come out they informed me that they had to fail my inspection due to the headlight on the passenger side being pointed down from the previous damage and suggested I take it to a body shop. I've had this car for many years and this damage happened well over five years ago. I have had an inspected every year and never had a problem. Sometimes you give somebody a little bit of power and they take advantage. Took it to another shop after adjusting the headlight a little paid my $.85 to have it re-inspected and it passed. I wouldn't use these people change the oil in my lawnmower. I have pictures of the vehicle with the damage if you're interested in seeing what they deemed impassable. My only real question is why didn't they say something to me when they looked at the car but continue to do the oil change knowing that I would've just walked away with a failed inspection. read more

Worst place I've ever been talked me into inspection looked at my car and told me it would be extra because windows were tinted than failed me because of the Windows than they try to act dumb and say they didn't know the tiny would fail until they tested it if they can't tell if window tint isn't legal by looking at it when you can't even see through the windows than they are to incompetent to even work on a car.
