He was incredibly responsive on Yelp messages, phone calls, and texts. Unlike most shops, Victor doesn't charge for a diagnostic. He went above and beyond to figure out what was going on with my laptop and even ordered another separate power brick (on his own dime) just to see if it was that. He found the problem, called the manufacturer for the replacement part and gave a fair price for the part + labor. I ultimately did not go through with the repair as I decided to buy a PC. When I went to pick up my laptop I asked what I owed and Victor said everything was complimentary. Now that is top tier service right there. It seems the tv was very cranky from being worked on and having its guts removed it needed a full reset. I wanted to wait a day or so before writing my review just incase something happened. I bought a Delta contractor table saw secondhand. Come to find out the motor had overheated. I took…read morethe motor to several places and called several repair shops and they all said the motor would need a full rewind and would be cheaper just to buy a whole new table saw. However, the table saw was in great shape so I was really hoping to just get the motor repaired. Thank goodness I found Mission Electric Motor on Yelp. The shop owner, Hrant, is the nicest guy. He was also very knowledgeable and honest. He took a look at the motor and said it may just be the start winding that overheated. He wouldn't know for sure until he took it apart. However, if it is just the start winding that overheated, then only that would need a rewind. He gave me a quote to rewind just the start winding and also a quote for a complete rewind. Both quotes were better than all the other places I got quotes from. Fortunately, it ended up being just the start winding that overheated so it did not need a full rewind. I had Hrant repair the motor and it now works better than ever. Before the repair, the motor would take a few seconds to get up to speed. Now, when I hit the start button it starts up instantly. Looking at the new windings, the quality of the wire he used looks better than the one from the factory. Suffice it to say I am very very satisfied with the repair and service I received at Mission Electric Motor. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who has an electric motor that needs repair. Called the number at 9am sharp on a Saturday morning and Alan answered the phone on the second ring. Although he had a limited schedule this particular Saturday, he didn't hesitate to accomodate me and quickly offered to meet me at his shop in 30 minutes. I drove over immediately. Upon meeting Alan face-to-face, I found him to be friendly, upbeat, professional and efficient. We chatted as he replaced my screen and I was on my way in under 10 minutes. Phone is now looking great and working perfectly again. So happy to happen across Alan as this level of customer service is truly rare these days AND his pricing was more than reasonable! Quoted $800 and picked it up. Took a week to fix and returned it. One week later did the same thing. He picked up again on May 2nd about a week later. May 6th, he said it was fixed and returned. May 15th, did the same thing. Picked up again on My 16th. This time he said it will take over a week, he didn't tell me he meant over a month. June 21st he finally delivers and seems to be fixed. He said he replaced the backlight, whatever. Works fine until August 11th, does same thing. I have texted him with photos and called him numerous times. He does not answer calls or reply back. He is avoiding because on his invoice he guaranteed 1 year warranty and verbally told me if after the third time he cannot fix it, he will give me a refund. I cannot get a hold of him so I am out $800 and left with a broken TV. He is an absolute unprofessional crook.
