It's been three weeks since this occurred, and I went ahead and disputed the transaction with my credit card company, but Edgar, the owner, continues to dispute and making false claims. Don't buy into the pitch "screen comes from same factory..". If so, the screen purchased here is nothing remotely close to OEM. Display brightness is very narrow. Strong tint of blue, colors are not natural. And a splash of water will seep under the screen. There is no seal and cannot be near any moisture, unlike how the phone comes from Apple as water resistant, not water proof. Quality of screen is lacking and not worth the money. Save your money and look elsewhere. Research the screens firsthand if you can. Refresh rate definitely is not as fast as original. *owners reply does not apply. One day, I try to restore my iPad to the latest version of iPadOS via iTunes. After putting it into recovery mode, the device suddenly disconnected and was no longer recognized by any computer with any cable. Naturally, my first instinct was to go to Apple to get it repaired. However, because the device was a 2 year old M1 iPad Pro, it was no longer covered by AppleCare+. After some further diagnosis, while the "genius" determined that the USB-C data pins were faulty, he refused to repair it for me....and instead suggested I buy a new one???? As a college student and after only two years, this was simply unacceptable for me. Enter Valley iPhone Repair. Not only did they have the cheapest price compared to their competition, but they immediately reassured me that this problem was fixable without any weird warning messages from iPadOS post-repair. After giving them my iPad on Friday and waiting a weekend, I picked it up fully functional...and for only 150 USD (including tax)! Compare this to apple's suggestion of spending 650 USD minimum for a brand new *same model*, and it wasn't even close.
