All three worked on the interior detailing of a black interior that has been neither wiped down nor vacuumed in, oh, well, maybe ever since I've owned it. Today, it looks like a brand new interior. They threw in a hand exterior wash for no cost, and without going over my timetable. I, meanwhile, relaxed at Stewart's across the way. The $125 fee was lower than I'd seen a few other places charge, and the owner refused to take any share of the generous tip I offered after such great service. This money was better spent for my mental health and overall happiness than a therapy session would have been. And, yes, the big scary-looking dog barks, but get permission to connect and you'll see that he was really asking to be petted. A real sweetheart, he made me laugh out loud with cute antics.

I went with their paint correction and full detail, and when I picked it up, I was blown away it looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor. They got out all the fine scratches, and the paint has this crazy deep shine to it now. They clearly didn't noticed before. If you need a deep detail, paint correction, or actual bodywork done right, do yourself a favor and come here. These guys take serious pride in what they do, and I'll definitely be back.

I brought my 2009 Chevy Malibu in for an estimate because I wanted the frame addressed, the windshield repaired/replaced as appropriate, and the affected area repainted. J Smitty Automotive provided a preliminary estimate with a Grand Total of $3,985.17. For context, I purchased this vehicle for approximately $6,000, so being quoted nearly $4,000 for the repair was not reasonable to me. What left the interaction with a bad impression was that there was no attempt to recommend a more cost-effective path forward or explain alternatives - only a very high estimate. I then obtained another written estimate elsewhere for the same problem area ("Front Windshield and Frame") totaling $375.00, which I found far more reasonable. To avoid any confusion: the repairs shown in my before - and - after photos were NOT performed by J Smitty Automotive; they were completed by the other shop after I declined this estimate. Based on this experience, I would not recommend proceeding here unless you are comfortable with a risk of significantly inflated pricing.
