I've continually improved, lowered lap times, and am now riding solid B-group pace all day long. There is nothing more satisfying on a Ninja 400 than having a Ducati 1299 blow by you on the straight, only to catch them in turn 3 and say "hey, remember me?" (I don't think they can hear me, but I do say it). If the Feel Like a Pro team didn't make me feel so welcome and provide a great experience, I wouldn't have been back. It's that simple. For anybody that's thought about a track day but is daunted by the unknown, give Feel Like a Pro a call. They take care of everything, you just need to ride at whatever speed and level you feel comfortable.

Ryan, one of the owners, is a very quick rider and he gave me a ton of pointers as well as a tow around the track and specific advice on both how to improve as well as how to ride the ninja better. He knows his own product inside out and his knowledge was invaluable. I got a lot faster over the two days I rented. Michelle, his wife and co-owner, has only been riding for two years and is super quick too. She gave a lot of perspective on how to improve quickly and was amazing at helping get us set up. The rental experience is a total white glove service. you have a canopy and tables in a prime location. Tire pressures are checked throughout the day. Ryan made numerous adjustments to the bikes ergos (I'm a taller dude) to make me more comfortable. it's like being part of a racing team with your own pit crew and mechanic for the day. Lastly the other rentals were really cool. I didn't know anyone else at the event and we hung out together. Made some new friends! Highly recommend flap.

2024 update: Thunderhill has always been awesome but they've added some amenities since I first…read morereviewed it. The track is still pristine. It's well kept with lots of run-off, plenty of turn workers, and clear markings. It's the track I feel safest on. The facilities are good for camping. There are showers and clean bathrooms and outhouses everywhere. There's a drinking water dispenser in the admin building. There are now three large shade structures on the East track so you set up your stuff out of the sun. They've added more power hooks-ups among the RV spots. They are only a couple power hookups under the shade structures though. The gate person keeps the gate to the park open until late at night so if you choose not to camp, you can at least drop your stuff off the night before. They have a decent menu at the Thunderhill Grill now and they now accept credit cards. You can still get ice there for $4 a bag. There's also a gas station and a used fluid disposal station. The gift shop carries useful things like shop towels and brake pads. My short wishlist: better temperature control and water pressure in the showers, regular outlets under the shade structures, a bigger/better drinking water dispenser.

Luckily, there are two sections of covered areas for parking your car so I stayed relatively cool. It was definitely fantastic to get there early and feel the sort of cool breeze at 75F before temperatures escalated. This is a tight track so you don't go super fast. I spent a lot of the laps trying to focus on braking properly before turn in as my car loves to under steer. On the main straight I got up to 88 mph, but didn't time travel LOL. Overall, I had a lot of fun and wasn't ever worried I was going to hit a wall. It's a forgiving track. Food from the Thunderhill Grill truck was actually surprisingly good. The fries come out extremely hot and the burger was not dry at all. Bathrooms are really clean as well. The men's sink was a little funky though because the water pressure is too high but on a hot day that's not too big of an issue. Be sure to bring lots of water though especially if you like ice cold water. The water bottle refill station (more like one loosely tightened spout) doesn't produce cold water. There are vending machines, however that probably have cold water.

We ended up under the bridge which was loud (since traffic never stops!) but very close proximity to wall over to spectator stands, the restroom, etc. the mx track itself is groomed nicely and is maintained throughout. The restrooms were restocked daily with toilet paper. They lady at the front gate was happy and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Wednesday is half priced bar drinks, and while their prices are already low, the Wednesday deal is a steal! We ordered several classes of chardonnay, beer, a few shots of tequila, the burger sliders and wings. For a Wednesday night, it is pretty dead, which meant we had the arcade to ourselves and a very attentive waiter. Every round of drinks came out fast, and our food did not take much longer than that. The burger sliders were just that, sliders, but the sauced and dry rubbed wings were great! The rest of our party ordered the pretzel board, pizza, and more wings, which were seemingly good. Our waiter did mention they are revamping their menu, so stay tuned for potential changes in their food offerings.

It's only $3 a game per person! Now we're talking! We had 4 people and one game each was perfect for $12. You don't need bowling shoes, there is barely an approach. It was super fun! They had many specials such as street tacos $3, Modelo draft beer $4 and Margaritas $5. We had the Supreme flatbread for $14 and it was good. My Friend ordered the charcuterie board for $24. I really loved the sausage and the display was presented in a giant pretzel. I love the couches for trivia so nice and comfortable! The staff preferred not to have a photo so I respected their wishes. The building is huge with no one In it, which makes me sad! He is an extraordinary worker and deserves the best. After are great start, we were having a blast on the splish and splash of the water slides. When these unsupervised kids ruined our fun. They cut in front of everyone in line for stealth so I confronted them. This lead to them following me and my friend around the entire water park. When me and my friend went on double dare trying to get them away from us they followed us up and were repeatedly yelling at us. They then told the life guard that we cut them and pushed them down the stairs. The life guard, Declan T, did nothing about them yelling and even let them cut in front of us even Though we so clearly made it up first. This is when our day started getting worse these kids followed us back to our spots invading our personal space and yelling at us. Even with many life guards around no one stopped them. Me and my friend eventually got so fed up with there act we went and told a supervisor after telling him the situation he did absolutely nothing.

They have lockers you can rent etc. I have to give them 3 stars some parts of the slides you wait at or walking to certain areas the ground is really hot and I know it's a hot day, but people are burning their feet to. I feel like they can go around and spray it down with water or something you can wear shoes, but they make you take off your shoes and hold them on the slides. The double dare has no shade the ground was so hot kids were holding onto the side rail to keep their feet from burning. We will still come here enjoy the water slides.
