This review is for a 10-year-old's birthday party with eight kids, including the birthday boy. We actually discovered Heroes VR by chance while driving past it. We hadn't planned on a VR birthday party, but after a quick Google search and some price comparisons with other birthday options for a 10-year-old, we found it to be very reasonably priced for what was offered. Since we weren't sure what to expect, I called and spoke with a woman who provided clear, detailed, and knowledgeable information about the party options and how the timeline would work. We ended up booking a 4-8 person party starting at 10:15 a.m. without food (though we later ordered two pizzas through them because I got lazy). On the day of the party, we arrived at 10:00 a.m. and were greeted by two friendly staff members who walked us through the plan. The kids were split into groups of four and had two 30-minute VR sessions, followed by a pizza break, and then two more 30-minute sessions. Everything ran smoothly and exactly as described. Since it wasn't busy, they even let the birthday boy have a little extra time so he could play with all seven of his friends at least once. During downtime, the kids could also play on a Nintendo Switch they had available. At the end, the birthday boy got to do a special "walk the plank" experience while his friends watched, and the staff was flexible and accommodating when it came time for cupcakes. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience for both the kids and the parents. The staff made everything easy and stress-free. We'll definitely be back to try it again as a family. read more

Pretty costly for an hour of play, so unfortunately this won't be something we do very often, but it was a special activity neither of us had done before and it was so much fun!!!! Chandler was very helpful and accommodating today, which kicked off a very fun afternoon for these two. After being at camp in the hot sun all morning, this was completely what the doctor ordered. They keep this place, how do I say, out-of-my-price range when it comes to the AC. In other words it is totally delightful up in here. The entire place is kept gorgeously clean and sanitized, the couches are cozy with backs at a nice tilt to either watch the game screens or comfortably review them on Yelp. Heroes VR in Roseville is amazing! We booked a birthday party (League event package for 6-12 players) for our tween. The staff had a table set up with plates, a party tray, napkins and utensils before we even got there! The VR hosts were enthusiastic, friendly, and fun. We rented out the entire place for my twins 16th birthday party. It was a HUGE hit! We had 17 players and the 2 hours of play time worked well. It takes just a bit to get acclimated to the equipment. Everyone had a great time. The staff is so great. They really have a great system set up, it's easy to get help when anyone needs it and they know the games inside and out. I'm not sure a five is just yet appropriate because they have still can improve by getting more games and more space, but There was absolutely nothing wrong with our visit, had a blast. This is our second time; we played a boxing game, a magic duel hame, and then a halo style shooter game. The last one was the most fun. I especially appreciate how patient the staff members were with my wife who is not a fan if video games, so they spent a lot of time advising about buttons and were calm and helpful (unlike me...oops!). I booked online but when we got there he gave us great advice and even gave us a refund based on his recommendations and our interest level. We saw Heroes when having breakfast next door, and I thought it would be a cool place to check out. I ended up booking a party for my Husband's 36th birthday. We have a VR at home that he plays, so I knew he would enjoy it. We booked the package with 6 VRs, so we had the whole left side for our party. With the 6VR package, we were allowed to have up to 12 players, and pretty much everyone in our party except one person, who rather get massaged in the zero gravity massage chair, which was also on our side, participated. It was a really cool experience and everyone enjoyed it. The staff was super nice and extremely helpful. They help you get set up on the games and walk you through how to sync up with other players so you can play together. My husband and I played a boxing game - which by the end I was sweating my butt off. It was super fun to punch my husband in the face and knock him out (in VR world of course :-P) LOL We will be back. read more

What made their experience even more smooth and enjoyable is Ronald's enthusiastic and fun personality while guiding the kids on using the VR equipment / games. We came in and it was not busy, we got in without reservations and I was so sad to leave because of all the fun I had! Definitely a place I'll be going to in the near future! This was an incredible experience. Alonzo was AMAZING the whole staff really could not have been more helpful. There were a couple of glitchy games but the rest (we each played like 6 or 7 total) were awesome and super interactive. Definite recommendation if you are looking for something fun to do. We went here for girls night out on Saturday and we loved this place! I believe the guy who helped us was "Ben" he was extremely helpful. This was legit fun and defiantly everyone should try it. The only thing keep in my that kind of sucks is when your time is over it stops so if your playing a game it's like "wait what just happened?!" and we didn't even know who was winning because it just shut off. By then we had a different worker (shift change). I wish they would give you a warning although when you aren't playing a game but browsing it will show your time on the screen. read more
