Brought the truck in here one time a few years ago. They told me my oil pan drain bolt was stripped and they had to use a new bolt to get it to seal. They charged an extra $15 for that bolt and said they would have to replace the oil pan next time. I've changed my oil each time since without issue. One time he declined to do a specific work on my car because he wasn't comfortable doing it, that is why I keep coming back. My 19 year old daughter took her car on 07/23 for an oil change. She also asked how much for a brake inspection. The older man (I think he is the owner) quoted her $200 for the inspection. She repeated it to him and he said yes. She immediately texted me and asked if that was an ok price (she wouldn't know) and I said absolutely not. Today, 7/25 my husband called and asked how much is a brake inspection and they said $20. I no longer trust this companies ethics as they clearly were trying to take advantage of a young girl. Went in for a smog check and was greeted immediately even though I saw the mechanic working on other cars. Very attentive and easy in-and-out service for a smog check. They charged me 50 dollars for a smog check and 42 dollars if my car didn't pass (my car passed). Reasonably priced that I might come here for other services. They even topped off the air in my tires the other day - when they were busy! No cost of course. I really like supporting local businesses when I can.
