I went in for an oil change in the evening. I let the front receptionist know I had a coupon. They talked me into buying a new filter and brought over my old filter to me. Not noticing some of the filter particles got onto the chair, he began to yell at me. I had no idea what he was saying and referring to. As soon as I realized, I apologized, but he continued to yell at me with a raised voice in front of my children. He was yelling so aggressively and loudly that I left visibly shaken and my eyes tearing up. When I went to pay, she processed the job without the coupon and I asked her at the end if we could add it in, and she told me I had to present it before she rang it up, even though I previously told her about it. I started having trouble with my vehicle while driving home yesterday and called Fast Lube en route. They not only got me in right away (at 4pm, no less), but had the work (brake bleed, new rotors, new brake pads) completely done by 6pm when they closed. The staff was professional and even helped me think through an expensive repair I was not anticipating when I came in. My questions were answered and everything has been great with the car since the repair. While sitting in the waiting area, I was able to witness the same courteous behavior and professionalism exhibited toward other clients as well. I fully recommend Fast Lube Plus! read more

Apparently the person that changed my wife's oil misplaced the drain pan bolt and forced the closest thing he could find to fit, in its place. My wife waited over a month for the manager to help make it right. She just got an oil change and oil is leaking in our driveway. So I figured I would take a look myself. Apparently even the manager doesn't know what the right bolt or replacement bolt should look like.. Supposedly re-tapped the hole for a new bolt (since the first employee jacked that up) The bolt sitting there now doesn't even fully lock down to the hole, there is no gasket on the bolt, and the gap leaks oil through the threads. Absolutely dissatisfied with this location, and stupid mishaps like this are the reason I prefer to do things myself. Will not be returning or allowing my wife to return here, and I highly suggest you stay away from this business. They just fill positions with bodies instead of qualified individuals that should know what the heck they are doing. I'm dumbfounded that two people at a mechanics shop are so ignorant and careless...I would trust a tax expert with my oil change over anyone this business hires. Good luck, if you venture here for service. I strongly advise against supporting this business. Oil change is one of the most basic tasks you can do for your car..and they failed...twice. These guys obviously don't know much about cars. They stalled my car twice trying to pull it in the bay and once on the way out. They refused to inspect my car because it has a wide band o2 sensor installed in the stock exhaust system. Mind you I got the exact same car inspected there last year with the exact same setup. Both stock o2 sensors are in there stock locations, fully functional, easily visible and no codes being thrown. Flat out refused to inspect it even after I explained to them that the o2 sensor was only for the wide band gauge in the car. These guys are idiots and have no business running a pet store let alone a shop. read more

These guys were great! They fixed the brakes on my Ford Transit work truck when even Firestone screwed them up. They admitted they would be harder than normal, but assured me they could do them in one day. Firestone took 4 days and still messed them up. Fast lube Plus held true to their word and fixed them in a few hrs. I will be taking all my vehicles there from now on. read more

I come here for car inspections and oil changes. The people here are very honest! The business is locally owned and operated. They offer batteries, filters, and light bulb changes ay very reasonable and affordable prices. Get your oil changed and they will surprise you by vaccuming your car. They are on top of other service requirements such as transmission oil changes and coolant flushes as well, and of course they will bring these to your attention depending on the mileage of your vehicle. This location has a garage for repairs as well, so if you need brakes changed or other mechanical repairs they can provide them. The lobby has laptops so you can surf the web and read the news while you wait. The last time I was here I had my headlights sanded as well. Of course, it will be cheaper to change your own oil but if you are going to have someone else do it, I'd go here. I subscribe to their email list which provides coupons on a regular basis. As soon as I stepped out of my truck, a smiling gentleman was greeting me and asking what I needed done. He promptly pulled my truck into the bay for the oil change it so desperately needed. The whole process took under 30 minutes and this included Matt going through an entire list of items that my truck may need in the future and discussing the risks associated with not selecting those services. I will NOT be returning. Brought my daughter's car in for an oil change @ $63. Charged me more for Synthetic Blend oil when regular oil and synth blend are the same price per bottle at Walmart. They did not clean the cup area around the new oil filter as the filter is on top of the engine in this car. Then after the oil change they started the upsell for items the car did not need according to the owners manual. They even brought out a dirty cabin air filter and I did NOT authorize any work on the car other than an oil change. So be prepared to say NO to the multiple items they will bring up that they say needs fixing. I need a car repair place that fix what I authorize and fix what needs fixing. read more

We experienced the same problem another reviewer did. The inspector said our wipers were broken and it became tense and confrontational when we said we would fix it ourselves. He threatened it would cost us more money if we fixed it and brought it back for "reinspection". Also we have been bringing all three of our cars here for the past year and each time they try to sell us something we don't need. My young daughter didn't know better so she had them change her power steering fluid and when they were done, she had a huge power steering leak that was not there before. Came here through a referral from my friend who told me I could get a inspection and quickly since I didn't want to wait around all day. They were very honest and told me my horn didn't work which I had known for some time but was afraid of the expense. They spent extra time figuring it out and it was only a blown fuse. Thankful for their patience and knowledge the fix only cost me $5.00. When I very well could have been charged a diagnosis fee just to figure out why my horn doesn't work. I have used the Holly Springs Fast Lube for several years now, primarily for oil changes, but recently also had a hole in my windshield repaired and a battery replaced. They are awesome! The customer service is spectacular - I never feel "ripped off" or like they are doing anything "shady" to upgrade me for work I don't need done. They always walk me through additional options, which I am free to say no to with no additional pressure. The end result is great. This morning, when my battery died, I stopped by a full 30 min before they opened, expecting to wait. Chase came out and said he'd go ahead and do the work because "he was there and it was no big deal." There was no additional upcharge and I was on my way. I went in this morning for an oil change with a coupon for 24.99. I showed the coupon to the individual checking my vehicle in. He said they will get that at the end and didn't take 2 seconds to review it. After the oil change was done my bill ended up being 65.00. He said I had started running a synthetic blend oil and the coupon didn't apply. (Apparently another Fast Lube had changed from conventional to a synthetic blend without my knowledge). He said he was terribly sorry and used a blanket coupon that took 20.00 off. I ended up paying almost double and only went there because of the oil change coupon. I told him Firestone down the street had a coupon for 21.99 for a synthetic end oil change and he said there are all kind of hidden costs. So since my wife also needs a oil change I called Firestone and they verified it is 21.99 plus tax. Of course there is an additional charge if there is over 5 quarts needed ( which she doesn't ). So the issue here is that Fast Lube changed my oil over to a synthetic blend without my knowledge. In addition, they didn't take the time to review the coupon I attempted to show them. Then on top of that, they bad mouth the competition to try and make themselves feel better for over charging me. I will never give Fast Lube another dollar and I told them that today. read more

I recently went to the Fuquay store i had gone to for years for an inspection. They failed me, stating that the rear brakes were metal to metal & then tried to sell me new brakes & rotors. Because I was suspicious, i declined. I later took my car to a reputable tire shop i trusted and learned: 1. There was a wheel lock on the rear tires, making it very unlikely they even got the wheel off in the first place to inspect. 2. The brakes were not metal to metal. 3. The rotors were fine. In short, they made the whole thing up. Trying to up sell me a filter i might or might not need is one thing, but this is something else. I've been coming here since I moved to NC for inspections and oil changes. This last trip was combative and intense for no reason mainly because the tech (Edward) did not like the fact I asked to see which tail light he claimed was out during an inspection. He then asked me did I want them to replace it, I said no because it is something I can repair myself, he then said "well you will fail the inspection and will have to pay $6 dollars to retake (consequently $6 is what it cost to replace the bulb as well). For the sake of time, I opted to just pay to have the light replaced. I had a bike mounted to the trunk so I had to take the bike off (which I did not want him to do, probably aggravated him more). I stood outside with my bike. When it was time to pay the bill I brought my bike in with me because they drive your car around to the front, so I just brought it through the lobby. Edward made a point to make a comment "Aint no body going to steal it". I didn't even bother to respond to his lack of foresight at this point. Overall this, what should have been a routine event, turned into what will be my last encounter with this business. Edward's attitude and unwillingness to explain things he should be knowledgeable of to a paying customer has left me with more than sour taste in my mouth. Update, since this review the owner replied to me personally to amend my expedience. I will try them again as I understand things happen and people have bad days. I will update and again after I visit again and update my rating as well. Update 2, things are back to how I remember! Great service, and short wait time! read more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I originally left my service feeling extremely disappointed. I need to pass inspection and paid hundreds of dollars in fixing an issue that was supposed to turn off my check engine light. I left and 30 miles later the light turned back on. I sent a message to their headquarters and within 30 minutes a representative called and spoke to me about the issue. I was able to express my concerns and also listen to their view point. The conversation was very professionally done. We were able to come to a solution together that left both parties happy.
