Just wanted to give a big thanks to the guys that were working Saturday, October 28. I showed up to the first come first serve for an oil change. They checked my oil and said I didn't need it quite yet and told me to try back in about 2500 miles they checked my fluids too and I made sure I had air in all my tires. When I asked how much I owed them they said it's free because I didn't need the oil change just yet. I've been going to them for years but always got the full service done and I work Mon-Fri so I always rely on them for the weekend services. I felt bad that I wasn't even able to leave a cash tip because I only had a card. They kindly said "no worries, it wasn't necessary" but I told them that next time I come for the actual oil change, I will be bringing some tips so once again, thank you so much. I was charged over $115 when I have never paid over $60 before. I guess they did not have my oil in stock so they used some premium synthetic. They never once asked if I would like to upgrade to the synthetic oil and made no comments about it until after the service had been completed and I realized had been mischarged. The man at the desk was very unhelpful and rude. Long story short fast lube plus took complete advantage of my naivety and I would not recommend them to anyone who is not trying to be robbed. read more

Pros: Pulled right in, no lines. Quick, 12 minutes and about half the price as anywhere else, friendly guys. Cons: Place is NOT maintained, lousy seating(didn't/wouldn't sit down) in the waiting room, don't lean on anything. Conclusion: Oil change! Not eating there or watching tv(no tv, just a bracket on the wall, sic). Just want an oil change so i can get back to my life. Price good, called around, about half price as anywhere else. I've been going here for years. Always been quick and thorough. I just purchased a new used car 2 months ago and I travel a lot for work. The sticker in the window said I was due for a an oil change so came here. They took a look at my oil and showed me it was practically brand new. They showed me what new oil looked like compared to mine and I couldn't tell the difference. Rather than charging me anyways they checked all my fluids/ tires and didn't even charge me. The good: no one in line ahead of me, didn't take long for the oil change, and they knew what viscosity of oil to use The bad: everything else. The waiting area, which I wasn't in for long, was pretty much a dump. Not one, not three, but STACKS of old and trashed magazines thrown all about the area. Chairs are old and often torn/ripped. Fine, whatever, I just wanted an oil change. But what rates the (1) star is the actual process. The service person drove up onto the lift, and then revved the engine up high before shutting it down. Cute. Then while the service was being done (I'm assuming/hoping-after the oil has been replaced) for some reason they figured that they needed to start the engine while it was 8'-9' in the air and then revved the engine again. Not just start but most of the way to the redline! Service was then completed. They dropped the lift and while the car was still sitting on the ramp, it was started and put in gear. The service person then decided that it was a good idea to spin the rear tires with the brakes on AND while one of his buddies was still standing in front of the lift! Thankfully, that guy moved out of the way and my car was driven off and parked without further incident. If that is the way they treat their customer's cars when they know, or should have known, the customer was still there it is obvious that they don't have respect for the customer. I'm on the tail end of a 9 month trip by car and have only spent 4 weeks at home since Sept 4. I stopped by Fast Lube Plus today while on the road. This the BEST and FASTEST oil change I've had. I usually dread going to places where they change oil since many of them (not all) are really trying to get you do to some services you don't need, beyond the oil change. These folks checked the car and did the oil change -- and I was out in UNDER 15 minutes. I had some fluid and other changes done some months ago and it needed an oil change. At some other places they would have tried to sell me a zillion other fluid changes along with it. I liked this place better than any place I've gone to at home in terms of how fast it was. I was a bit amazed when he came over to tell me how much it cost at the end. Ithought he was coming over to suggest some other things. A PLUS to these guys. read more

The last 2 times I took my car in I was very disappointed. My brake fluid light came on 2 days after an oil change, I checked it and had to add fluid. And the last time I went in my tire pressure light came on the next day! I had my tire pressure checked and all of my tires were 10lbs LOW!!!! I just got an oil change for the long drive to San Diego. In Ventura, I realized the occasional smell of burning oil might be me and not just highway neighbor's. Turns out they never put the gas cap back on. When I checked the oil, assuming it would be low, that was not possible, because the oil level (yes after wiping and re testing) showed that there was exactly twice as much oil in my vehicle as overfill, meaning it went as far past the do not overfill line as all the way to the tip!!! Insane!!!! Fuck this amateur shithole. They will destroy your vehicle. read more

I was new to ukiah and seeing as how this place has 4 stars thought I was getting into the right place. A few times they went too fast. I wondered about filters and levels of fluids. It was only after I took it to EZSMOG that I found out fastlube wasn't filling my fluids at all AND HAD NEVER CHANGED MY OIL FILTER!! Not to mention them putting regular oil in my synthetic oil car!! They had been charging me full price the whole time. And didn't even care enough to put the right oil in my car. I mean the sticker on the windshield says what kind. Careless and stupid. When I went to my car at the last oil change, the technician (?) told me I need to check my oil frequently. Previously, I could go the full 10,000 miles without needing any additional oil. Since then it has needed a quart about every 1,000 miles. As synthetic oil is rather expensive, I took the car to a repair shop. They found the drain plug almost out, just hanging by a thread. I'll never have my oil changed here again. Especially worrisome is that this company warned me to check my oil instead of tightening the plug. read more

I took my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Convertible in 7/30/16 to have the oil changed. I have been taking my car here since 2007 when I bought it in 2007. I have always been pleased with the service until now. Saturday when they were done with my car I asked what specifically they had done for the full service? The service guy told me they had checked n filled all the fluids n checked the air in the tires. I asked if they put air in the tires..he said they had. The tires were low n they put 40 lbs. in them. On my way home from Ukiah to Nice..my car was all over the road..pulling to the right side of the road. I had my husband check the air when I got home...Those jerks put 61 lbs in one of my front tires n 60 in the other one. So my husband let the extra air out. Today I called them n asked for a manager..I got a guy called Aarons. I explained to him what happened. Aarons said their air gages stopped working n they had to change them so my tires were probably filled before they noticed their was a problem. He said he was sorry..I told him I was sorry also n I wouldn't be bringing my car in anymore. He never offered to make it right with me or anything. My daughter in law n I could of been killed. Never will I recommend this place to anyone or patronize this business. I trusted these people with my car. They could care less..so unless u check their work before u drive out of Fast Lube it could be u that gets killed...and they'll be sorry...SORRY FOR U FAST LUBE... read more

Very poor service. I went with my fiance so we could get lunch while I waited. The gentlemen working there did not acknowledge us and even purposefully avoided eye contact. Likely because my fiance is a member of a local law enforcement agency and he recognized at least one of the employees from work. After 10 minutes of blatantly being ignored, we left. I went in on a Friday, a little before noon...not the best timing, on my part, I admit, because there were 4 cars ahead of me and I was going in for a full synthetic oil change and fluids. To my great surprise and delight, I was out of there in about 20 minutes! These guys are awesome! The manager obviously cares about his customers, the service is fast, professional and doesn't cost an arm and a leg - in fact, I was expecting to pay about $30.00 more than what I was charged, so I'm now a customer for life! I would give zero stars if that was an option. Went in for an oil change and an air filter. Turns out they don't stock the air filter for my truck and they didn't have enough oil to do the oil change. They did not tell me any of this. When I noticed my truck was not being worked on I asked why. They then told me what the problem was. I told them I would not have staid if I had known they couldn't do the job. Their comment was a snarky "you can't make everyone happy". When I asked to contact the owner, the manager made it seem like the owner really had nothing to do with the business and might contact me if I left a name. This was after the manager made light of how long I had to wait and tried to tell me that the 10W30 synthetic oil they recommended on my last visit was some kind of rare oil that no one had. Poor service, don't care about the customer. Just want the $120. they charged. More than I paid the last time at a Jiffy Lube. read more

Took our 2008 Toyota Highlander into this business for an oil change. 4 Days later our check engine light went on. We took the car to the dealer mechanic the next business day. We discovered not only had Fast Lube Plus put the wrong weight of oil in our Highlander but they had knocked the oil shield into our timing chain, which then shredded into our engine. We had to replace the whole engine. This was totally their error. The owner Danny Christiani agreed to have the engine fixed if he could take the car to a mechanic of his choosing and not the local Toyota dealer. It appears he has a grudge against them. We declined as we wanted the car (which was only 4 years old) fixed by toyota certified mechanics. It appears due to the fact we wouldn't agree to an uncertified third party mechanic fixing the damage he now refuses to do the honest thing and pay for the engine replacement and rental car fee's we incurred due to the negligence of his shop. We are having to seek a legal solution to this colossal problem as Danny Christiani, the owner is a dishonest business man who doesn't stand behind the work done in his establishment. Patronize this business at your own risk., it cost us $9000.00 dollars. read more
