Very creepy vibe from the worker that "helped" us. I believe he was the manager. No small talk whatsoever- he didn't even said "Hi" or anything. We were just told to pull our car up and leave the keys inside. After he was done helping a customer that was there before me, I had to walk up to him to let him know what I wanted/needed done! Not sure how they would have known what grade of oil to give me had we not spoken...? The price was about the same as other places. Overall a very odd experience. Only reason I gave two stars is because they were pretty quick- about 20 minutes. But I still will not be coming back. read more

I dropped my kid off at practice at 3:15. Was done with my oil change by 3:30 (even though it was hot as balls out) .. so fast service.. Everyone was very nice.. so nice staff. I almost couldn't believe how rude the bald guy Mike is. My first experience with the guy I figured he must have had a hard day and didn't think to much of it. But wow! The second time he was even more of an ass. Very unprofessional . Never asked if they could do anything else or what kind of oil I wanted. Totally made me feel like I had done something to offend him, but all I did was walk in and ask if I could get an oil change. If you are into rude, and unfriendly, this is your place! The guy at the service desk had a look on his face the whole time, as if he had just stepped in dog shit and was pissed off at me about it. Nor have I had anyone make me feel as if they were angry to take my $97.00 for a basic oil change! I even had to reset my own mileage computer. Pulled up and there were a few cars waiting. Went inside to check out the prices and ask a few questions and the person I spoke to was incredibly rude. No greeting, just announced that it would be $30 minutes til he got to me. I had no problem with that and tried asking him the price but he just stuck his hand out and said "Keys." I repeated that I wanted to know the price since the pricing board on the wall seemed to be all messed up and I couldn't tell. He said maybe another two sentences total to me, but treated me like I was an imbecile. I told him I still had to grab some stuff from my car and he walked away without saying anything else. The real kicker was the woman who had been sitting in the small lobby when I got there. She said she had been there for 15 minutes and he hadn't even acknowledged her yet. After that I decided to go somewhere else. I ended up going somewhere that was a little more expensive but well worth it. read more

Feel confident having my oil changed here and anything else they can provide such as an interior air filter after all the fire smoke we experienced last year. I use to take my cars there back in the 90s since the owner at that time was very professional and courteous. He must've retired! The bald guy in the raiders get up (I'm from Oakland and a big fan) Was extremely rude to us! My husband and him had a blow up After, some guy cut in front of us. We brought it to his attention.. But, he said 1st come, 1st serve. I tried to explain to him The guy pulled in after us. But. He just kept repeating those words like he didn't want our business. When we first pulled in He told my husband It would be a 45 min wait. And, that's all ..no questions answered. He wasn't professional at all. After all the arguments and yelling I told my husband "Let's go somewhere else " That's when we called Lakeport Automotive. They made us an appointment! And, sounded very kind and business Like!!! Rude, Rude, Rude I have been here a few times. And each time the men working there are rude and yet I keep going back. Well, not anymore! Both guys, (I assume they are the only two that work there) don't care about the quality of work they do. When you ask a simple question like how are the fluids looking or do they see any leaks. They respond with "everything is fine". I highly doubt they do more than change the oil and filter. It seems to me like they are more interested in getting the oil change done fast so they can sit around and BS vs. work. Last time I was here, they scolded me as I pulled up. I was rudely told to move my car, mind you there are no signs as to where to park. When they got done with the oil change (it was raining) they pulled the car around the side and left the window open and of course rain was entering the vehicle. Not a sorry, or anything from them, just pay us now. This place is more about the transaction than the service. Lake County deserves better. Unfortunately this place is why I take my business elsewhere. read more

This is a great place if you ever need to get an oil change. They worked fast and efficient and only took up to 15-20 min tops. At first I pulled my car into the wrong entrance and thought maybe they were upset with me or irritated. Turns out that happens often so understand how that can be annoying. I am a busy general contractor. I have had my oil changed by this business for the last few years. They are always closed on Mondays, like a restaurant (?). I rolled by on a Monday and made a note of their hours. Posted on the door: Tue-Fri 8-5. Sat 9-12;30. Fine, I figure I can roll in on Saturday. I showed up at 11:55 last Saturday. One guy working, one car just finishing up. He was putting the sign away and rolled up one door. Gave me a blank and somewhat annoyed look: "We're closed." I say "then why does your sign on the door say 9-12:30? " We close between 12 and 12:30." "It's not quite 12 yet." No reply; turns his back to me. Bad business move in a small market like Lake County. I spend upwards of 600 bucks a year on oil changes for two vehicles. Upshot: Sorry guys, you just lost all of my business. I will take my oil changes to Ukiah or elsewhere. read more

My Version/Perception: I pull in and over to the left of the garage, THE GUY comes out shaking his head no at me, looking irritated. (His attitude irritated me, i figured maybe i was reading too much into his shaking of the head.) He says, no, you need to pull around. Ok, I ask how long is the wait, he says one car ahead then yours. So i pull around leave keys in truck. My sister was meeting me there, I was going to pay for her oil change also. She gets there, after a couple of minutes, I tell her go take your keys to him, so he knows your getting an oil change. She does and tells him, that I am paying for hers as well. There was a vehicle ahead of hers. My truck gets done, it is pulled around and parked. Hollace (my One yr old son) is asleep so I pull the truck forward maybe a couple of feet, so its parked in the shade. I put Hollace in his carseat. While, I'm doing this THE GUY comes out and is looking in my direction and saying something to my sister. Lynn tells me he asked, "is she going to pay"!! Guess he thought i might try to make a run for it, even though Lynn had told him i was paying for hers and he has my license plate number. REALLY! So I am sitting in the passenger seat with the door open and he comes out and tells me i need to move my truck.(I'm not blocking anything) Now, I'm fuming!!! I say, I'll pay for mine. Lynn we will get your car done somewhere else this guy is ridiculous!!! He says, what are you waiting for?? I said, "She told you i was paying for her OIL CHANGE!! He tries to telling me i needed to move my truck because they have limited space. I would still be in the parking lot! I told him i was parking in the shade because my son was asleep in the truck. He shrugged/smirked, my interpretation:he didn't give a crap. He kind of tossed/flung the receipt my way and i said, "don't worry, i won't EVER be back and i will let my friends KNOW. I have gotten an oil change several times at this location and this was my first and last bad experience. For a small town business not a smart move. I work to hard for my money to spend it where i would EVER feel i was treated disrespectfully. Unfortunately, I do not know THE GUY'S name. However, it's always the 2 same guys working there.
