Been driving past this place for a couple of years. Looked a bit rough on the outside so I never gave it much thought. My BIG mistake. Was sent there by another tire store as they had the tires I wanted. I pulled in paid for the tires and 3 guys attacked my car and did a magnificent job of getting the better tires on my car in about 30 minutes. Due to not only the distance between this place and Yosemite Valley Garage but also the traffic of the Yosemite National Park entrance, it took over two hours for the technician to arrive, which wasn't his fault but as soon as he got out of his vehicle, he constantly apologized for the wait. From the moment he put his hands on the tires, it literally took him less than 15 minutes to finish the job and hand me the bill. I have a hybrid plug-in car with specialized tire so I was very worried that I won't be able to replace it but he took all that concern away. His professionalism definitely shined with his incredible skill set. I would love to give more stars if I can for his superb customer service. Thank you very much, Regy! If you have any vehicle/tire issue in the middle of the Yosemite National Park, call the Yosemite Valley Garage especially when you're an AAA member and ask them for Fast Tire Coarsegold's service. Stay away. Purchased new tires for motorhome, $1990.. Drove 4 miles home, parked at storage, went back to coast. Came back one month later to check RV, inside driver rear flat. Superb quick service and very cost efficient! Had a blow out on the way up the hill and didn't have a spare. Called Fast tire and informed them of the tire size, issue, and location when they said they have it all and it cost $150 for all services with a used tire to get us up and going to get to our destination and then on. Mobile unit came out with all tools, tire, and associates who got it going and done in no more than 15 minutes. My family and business will be going to Fast Tire here out for all our tire needs. This place was so clutch!! Me and my friends were stranded with a nail in our tire at 1am, ended up at fire station 1 in Fresno where they put our spare on at like 2am which was also so clutch. But we had a hotel in Yosemite and we drove up there on our spare the whole time, got 2 hrs of sleep went to our reservation in the park and finally on our way down came to fast tire. Mind you we're from LA so we had a drive ahead of us. And we had been stressing about the cost and time they would take to fix the tire. We were in and out of there in 10 minutes tops and they only charged us $25!!! Huge life savers!! Not to mention it was the only place open up there on a Saturday! read more

Got my tires from here for my Subaru Sti. They got the tires done super fast and the price was cheaper than any corporate tire shop. They ordered my tires for me and had them delivered next day. I had a low tire pressure light and they checked it free of charge and told me it was just a bad on my old set. The light went away with my new set they installed. My right front tire got flat when we driving to Bass Lake for a party. We arrived late evening so there was no shop opened. I waited till next morning and called several local tire shops before I could decide which shop to go, since it is a flat on run tire, so I know it is not easy to repair and find a replacement. There are only a few auto shop open during weekends, and Coursegold is the only shop that answered my calls on Sat morning. The owner told me that I could come by and they could check it out for me. They were REALLY GREAT people , friendly, easy to talk to, and very professional! EPIC Customer Service!! This past Sunday morning, 5/31/2020, my wife and I got a flat tire sometime while driving. We discovered the flat at Raley's in Oakhurst. We had no spare tire (did not come from factory due to car originally having run flat tires). Needless to say we were freaked out, what tire shop is open on Sundays? We called Pat's Affordable Towing and talked to Pat Ratzlaff, the owner, who told us that Fast Tire in Coarsegold is open on Sundays. He would tow us over there to get a new tire or have the flat fixed. Here is where things got messy. No one answered at Fast Tire. After over half an hour of repeatedly calling Fast Tire, I called Pat back. Pat got hold of Reggie, the owner of Fast Tire, because he had his cell phone number. Fast Tire was closed this past Sunday because of not enough Sunday business due to COVID-19. So... Reggie agreed to open Fast Tire just for us -- he drove from Madera!! Pat personally towed our car on a nice flat bed to Fast Tire. Now get this: by the time we finished with Pat and thanked him profusely, Reggie already had the new tire on the car!! The old tire was destroyed because we drove on it too long while it was flat. Proving that Karma exists, as I was signing the credit card slip, another customer walked in and said, "we had a flat and need a new tire." So Reggie wound up with at least two sales that morning. How is that for customer service? There is no way we would have gotten this type of customer service outside of a nice, rural community. Thank you, Reggie!! read more

Before I even pulled all the way in, I was greeted by the manager/owner and right away they started working on my tire! Holy Moly these guys are fast! First off they impressed me because while they didn't answer their phone on my first try, as soon as I hung up they called me back! We had a nail in our tire and they said "Bring it in." They had us pull into a space and 13 minutes later the tire was patched and back on the car. 20 bucks. I tipped them for sure! Just be aware that this is a working facility only: nowhere to sit so bring your camp chair if it's a long repair. A great experience! read more

Brake service was fast and helpful and over $500 less than quoted at Sullivan's in Oakhurst. They put nitrogen in the tires and I scheduled for them to help me with an AC problem that I haven't been able to get fixed at a reasonable price, they will! Highly recommend! read more

I bought a used tire and on my receipt it said there was a one year warranty. This "warranty" obviously was not explained clearly and should have been, beside the point is the tire only lasted a month and foolishly I put confidence within a business without actually knowing the people who ran the business so I didn't think to bring my own tire gauge, etc etc, in order to verify that it was installed correctly and more importantly that the tire adhered to the state of California's codes and policies upon the sales of used tires, which in my case I doubt it did. With all that being said everyone wonders why a lot of people don't shop locally and reinvest in the local community, because businesses like this are the choices set forth. Lesson learned...buy new tires or purchase used ones at Kevin's Tires down off of Belmont and Fresno Ave. down in Fresno. read more

Unfortunately I've had to revisit this place 4 times over the past 10 months. These guys are SO GREAT! Location is perfect and they are fast. We drove from Fresno today, got up to Coarsegold and realized we were missing a rim and a tire. Huh?? Thank goodness for these guys. They had the job done within an hour. This place should be called "Fast Tire" Oh wait, it already is! And for good reason!!! Even when they order a part, they get it the next day. Once I changed my mind about a Porsche tire (we were selling the car). They had already ordered and got it in and it was no inconvenience to them at all. They seem invincible.
