1-13-2024 - Fast Tow was assigned by AAA. The time estimate for the tow to arrive was about an hour from when we placed the call. Fast Tow called us to ask a few questions, assessing the situation to determine what type of tow truck would be needed. This was during the cold snap so temps were in the teens and the wind made it feel even colder. Rodney arrived on time, he quickly used a charge box to start the car and drove it on to the flat bed. In less than 5 minutes we were on the way. The shop was less than 2 miles away it was the quickest trip, and using the AAA there was no charge. Rodney was all business, friendly, informative and thorough. I appreciated his professionalism. After AAA assigned this company I read the reviews that made me nervous. First of all the price was originally $150 to tow a small sports car perhaps 6 miles the most. then when he said I could pay with credit card but he would charge me a percentage to use my credit card I said never mind. So then he suggested Zelle and then told me it would be an additional 10 fee for me to use Zelle! it's free why the hell did I have to pay a $10 fee, but he assured me that he could be there in 10 minutes to pick up the car. 40 minutes later he shows up. oh and to go an additional two miles he charged me $40 more! what a POS! Talk about taking advantage of two women that are trying to get roadside assistance due to a flat tire! I will never use these jerks again. The driver's name was Omar Ahmad and in my book he's a crook. i was not the one who called them my friend did and I just obliged him because we needed the car picked up before it got towed by the city which would most likely have been a lot cheaper! This appointment was requested from AAA. They were supposed to come between 7-8 a.m. to tow my car. I called at 7:35 to get an update, I got a text saying the driver would arrive by 7:40. Cool, I thought no problem. At 7:45 no one showed so I try to call. The driver calls me then asking which tire is flat. I explain everything and he's like you need a flatbed truck, and I only have a regular truck. I'm like great, what the heck. I canceled the appointment all together. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. OnStar dispatched this company to tow my son's truck to the dealership. However, the dealership informed us they didn't have my son's vehicle. After contacting the tow company, they falsely claimed the truck was left in front of the dealership's gate and the keys were placed in the drop box. When I asked to speak with a manager, the dispatcher said the manager had gone home and promised to have him review the tow truck video footage and call me back. No one ever called back, and the company stopped answering our calls. The next day, the dealership discovered the truck had been abandoned down the street on the service road, with the keys left in the gas cap! This level of negligence is unacceptable. I left a voicemail message for the tow company, warning them I would report this to OnStar. However, they continued to ignore my calls. Onstar also agreed this was unacceptable and contacted the towing company directly as well as assisting me with filing a formal complaint. Onstar stated that the manager Kenny said he would call me but he never did. If you value your vehicle and peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs. read more

He was stranded, waiting for a tow truck, and literally 7 (SEVEN!) calls later, they informed me they couldn't get there. Once, they said they didn't service Corinth (they do..), and then over 2 hours later, they canceled the request, saying they would need another hour and to call someone else. Super unprofessional. It's New Years Eve. I called at 5:45 at which point I was given an eta of 6:10am. Received a new eta of 6:30 after the original passed. After having 3 dispatchers attempt to locate him with no response, He finally shows up at 7:09 after passing us at the leasing office. He turns back around- and with an attitude, and proceeds to leave us at the site and refuse service. Tech name Antonio. Contacted AAA about dead battery on car at 4:50: a.m. and was told Fast Tow would have someone there at 5;17 a.m. Later received a text and saying it would 6:13 a.m. then later another text that it would 7:27. Next was told it would be 8:30 a.m. It was over 3 hours before someone came. I called and asked why was I given wrong times and why did the times keep changing, no one could give an answer. I would recommend avoiding this company if possible. Triple A partners with them so I assigned them as a tow company. 12 hours later I finally had my car towed by another company. Top of my complaints is incompetence. My keys were lost and I needed to tow the car to a dealership. After sending a flatbed truck out I was told they would not be able to put the car into neutral or turn the wheels. When the next company came they put the car in neutral and moved it without any issue. Incompetence. Wait times were also inaccurate. I was told the wrong time numerous times and ended up waiting hours after the initial estimate. read more

Sooo unprofessional they don't have a way to clock in. No accountability held when it comes to them messing up your check but if you need time off they will punish you because they are understaffed. We were visiting the DFW area looking for houses because we are moving here from out of town. Our Tahoe completely died on us at a gas station and after calling AAA, Fast Tow was sent out. They arrived earlier than we were expecting which was great and we were immediately at ease with the driver, Brandon. Not only is he a super cool person in general but highly knowledgeable and skilled. Our car died while still in 4 wheel drive and unable to be put in neutral. He was able to carefully skate it into the flat bed. He then proceeded to drive us all the way to our destination and made friendly and lively conversation the whole way. He even gave us advice and insights on different areas to look for houses in. He was also able to come up with a solution to get the Tahoe off the flatbed as well with zero issues. When it was all said and done he turned a crappy, stressful situation into a pleasant one. We are grateful for Brandon and hope they take very good care of him! He deserves it! read more

I called AAA insurance to get me a tow for a 2000 Chevy pickup which was totally dead. Even the key fob was not working. The Fast Tow driver got here at the stated time and instead of just loading the truck onto his flatbed he said, "Let's check the battery cables." My daughter had just had them checked a few days before by a kind neighbor so we figured this wasn't the problem. Sure enough they were loose! I tightened them up with my socket and we were good to go. I wish I could remember the driver's name (It was Sat, 10/9 at 2pm) but I can't. He rates as the best in my book! read more

Calling a tow truck is never an exciting event. I called Fast Tow because of other reviews I saw on Google and they were a local company. I love using businesses that are a part of the community and not just in the community. They were extremely print and polite. They were slightly off schedule by 10 minutes but they called me and let me know what was going on. It was early in the morning and they had a lot of calls. So many calls that the owner actually came to get me. He arrived. Tried to fix my car before hooking it up. Nice for a company to try to help and not just say "here's the bill". He took me to Denton from Lewisville with a smile the whole time. Great company. Great rates. Would use them again and refer them to anyone :0) read more

i needed a tow to the Denton Toyota. After booking the trip, I received a call from Fast Tow stating that the price preciously given was wrong and he doubled the charge. I protested but he demanded that new payment before allowing the tow truck to help me. i agreed and filed a complaint with AAA but they referred me to ERS Administrators. After many calls and months, I was finally referred to a supervisor who refunded part of the over-payment and then speaking with someone in charge he agreed that the initial payment was doubled and I was ultimately refunded the correct amount. This process took 6 months and numerous calls, often not answered. read more

I just wish I knew our driver's name as he was beyond sweet and courteous. My daughter's car stalled and wouldn't re-start at a gas station. The driver came, asked what had transpired and asked if he could try to re-start the car himself. He fiddled with a few things under the hood and low and behold the car started (thanks again). He was still concerned so followed us to the service station where we have our cars repaired. He certainly didn't have to do that, so in my opinion he went above and beyond! I will keep Fast Tow in my phone should I ever need a tow again...I suggest you do the same! read more

I can't say enough nice things about Fast Tow and Malcom, the driver who helped me on August 11th. I was parked in front of Dollar Tree in Flower Mound and when I started my car it wouldn't go forward. I called AAA and they told me that they would send Fast Tow because it sounded like my car would need to be towed. Malcom arrived much sooner than expected and was super nice. He was friendly, polite and very helpful. He immediately knew the problem and corrected it. Wish I could give Fast Tow and Malcom 10 stars. read more

On 4/5/ 2022 early morning 12.00 AM I had car trouble (axle broke) & I was stuck in middle of busy street ( E. FRANKFORD Rd.) I called AAA and dispatch used Fast Tow to come out and help me. I got a call from tow truck driver by the name Jamal. That night it was cold and raining hard in Dallas area. Once the truck driver arrived, he didn't even get out of his truck, he rolled his window down and said to me, he won't be able to help me because I had broken axle and he's driving flatbed truck. I was truly shocked about what he said, as far as I know, you could tow anything with flatbed truck. Basically he left me stranded in cold rain middle of the street. By that time Carrollton PD arrived and they called their tow truck driver, once CPD tow driver arrived I noticed he was he also had flatbed truck, but he didn't have any problem loading my car on his flatbed. Next day I ended up going to PD wrecking yard and releasing my vehicle and cost me $250 to get it out, also cost me $25 to get Uber ride back home that night. Last week my Wife was stranded on busy Hwy 121 in rush hour traffic. I called AAA and requested a tow truck to assist. I explained to the dispatcher that I was concerned about her safety and they upgraded the call to top priority. Fast Tow driver, Oscar was on scene in less than 15, even in the horrendous traffic. He was exceptionally courteous and helpful in every way. He skillfully removed our vehicle from harms way and transported to a local shop. Great Job Oscar and Fast Tow !!!! I called the day before I needed my car towed, to make sure I could get a truck. I asked for someone to come at 8:00am. I was told they would come between 8:00 and 10:00. When I hadn't heard anything at 10:00 I called to see if there was a problem. I was told that there was no record of the order. They said they could have someone come by 11:00. I think if you are charging $187.00 to tow a car from Carrollton to Plano you should show up when you say you will. I chose this company because of the good reviews on Yelp. Buyers beware. The driver brought a vehicle to me. He got too close to one I had in my drivewat and when off loading it hit the front of my car causing damage to the back of the truck he had brought and denting the front bumper of the '82 Mercedes. If that wasn't enough he then damaged the front of the one he towed. Instead of an tnsurance claims adjuster showing up the owner(s) show up and say they will take them to their shop and fix them! OK they are NOT BBB approved. They are NOT a body shop and I have already seen how good their work (LMAO) is. AAA unfortunately does not seem to concerned either. I recommend NEITHER! read more

Folks, True Story! I called all the local Tow companies in the area, looking for the best price; all the service calls for the others were similar. They all wanted a credit card, to guarantee a non-refundable payment. They told me $89 service call, $35 to $75 hookup fee, and $4 a mile...What the hell is $35-$75 hookup fee...is it the drivers breaking it off in your brown-eye fee!? I called FAST TOW last, and although, I felt they too, where a bit pricey, they gave me an exact honest quote, "service call + miles charge" with no surprises. They like the other took my info, and quoted me both a credit-card and cash cost; cash cost to be paid to the driver at time of pickup. The driver, a knowledgeable individual, tried to trouble shoot it prior to loading, but no luck there. His diagnosis was in the general area, but needed parts, and pieces to fix. Good company, and if I need a tow in the future, I will use Fast Tow again. read more

As a member of AAA, Fast Tow has been sent to my aid twice and I'll give glowing reviews for both. First, my starter wasn't starting so I needed a tow to the mechanics. The young man from Fast Tow tinkered around double checking that it wasn't the battery. He did recharge my (very low) battery, but indeed the problem was the starter. He put it in neutral, rocked the car, and unstuck the starter. He said it was temporary fix but at least I didn't need a tow. Three weeks later, my starter works and Ive only had to use his trick once or twice. My second "run in" with Fast Tow was due to my front tire missing two lug nut/bolts and having a third loose on the same tire. The wheel wobbled when I drove, even driving slowly. So Fast Auto sent a truck out to my work. It got there quicker than the 30 minutes promised. He tightened the lug nut/bolt thingy and assured me I could drive the car to the mechanic, saving me the $24 tow charge. Well the mechanic needed my car in the am for same day turn around, so I had it towed all the same. The young man was so kind and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. Their trucks say Fast Tow and Repair but I'm not sure they have a shop or if it's roadside repair. I need to look into it- because I totally trust them! read more
