Eric McDonald helped us (service manager) order a tire from out of town, and the owner "Super Dale" drove us to our hotel to stay the night. Before 10 am the next morning, they called and had it all ready for us. It was a tender mercy that the car wasn't damaged, no one was hurt, and the folks at Bracken were there to help and go Beyond the Call of Duty to help people unexpectedly stranded. I saw a sign saying "Good Ole Boys" Repair and stopped there to seek assistance. A man was standing in the bay opening, I got out and said I believe the wind ruined my left windshield wiper, he seemed confident, lifted the wiper up and put it into place as if nothing had happened to it. I was thrilled as I needed it to see in this pouring rain storm. His name was Lance and I asked him what I owed him to fix this situation. He said, it's ok, I'm sure you'll be ok now. He was so kind. So every time I have a problem with my 2003 Impala and my 1995 Astro Van, I take it to Lance for repairs. He has kept me on the road in both vehicles for several years now. He changed the name of the Business when he bought them out to "Washington Service and Repair" A great place for excellent friendly service!! The gentlemen were not only kind and helpful but immediate in their response. NO charge. I was out of there in 15 minutes. While the situation was unfortunate, they turned my day around completely. I am very thankful for the service provided. I'll likely never be back in the city of Hurricane but I strongly recommend these guys to EVERYONE! A quick note, they were not first on my list of places (just the way things landed on Google Maps). The first place I went to on State St told me it would be a 2.5 hour wait, even after explaining my situation. My point is that my circumstances could have gotten a lot worse. This problem had been happening but I had purchased a new battery and new starter at home before I left for vacation. I am so grateful that Greg diagnosed and fixed the problem.
