I could get my valve stem cap off off one of the tires on my Bronco when I wanted to air down at Sand Hollow. I stopped by the shop around 5:15pm. They had remove and replace the valve stem. Got it done quickly. Pointed out them the metal cap was what caused the problem. So replaced all the caps for me. Biggest and best surprise was no charge. Was excited how they turned out but after getting my bronco back it felt like It had lost power steering and eventually couldn't turn right or left. I had it towed to ford where they told me the steering rack was cracked due to someone placing a floor Jack incorrectly right underneath and also let me know that it would not be covered under warranty since it was a due to someone placing the the jack in the wrong spot. I spoke with hurricane tire pros and they tried to play it off like it could have been them but it wasn't 100% provable so they wouldn't cover the parts and repair costs. So now I am SOL having to pay for a $3,000 mistake that was obviously their fault. read more

Had these guys install a B&W 5th wheel hitch on my Ford F250 a couple of weeks ago. I checked it later at home, bolts for the hitch head were not torqued correctly, two were loose. In addition, the spring that levels the head was installed incorrectly on the passenger side, not the driver's side, which I had to correct also. I asked Billy to make sure and have the guys check the torque on the bolt brackets that connect the rails, he said they did, they didn't. Two bolts holding the brackets were loose. I pay someone to do this work right, and then I have to go behind them is a lousy way to run a business. Sloppy work, good thing I double checked before I went a trip with my 5th wheel trailer. I've been taking cars here for a few years because of their prices and quality but their customer service has really gone downhill. The guys at the front counter are so ornery and seem put out to help you at all. I took my car in a couple months ago for a screw in the tire. Got there two hours before they closed and Billy told the kid working to just put a plug in it. The kid said he had time to fix it right. However, two weeks later the light came on again heading out to Gunlock. Took it to a shop in St George and they said whoever patched the tire ground it down so far the tire was ruined. They tried to fix the patch but said the tire could blow out. I ended up taking it to a different shop a week later to replace both rear tires. Also, I paid less for the new tires at a different place than I paid at Hurricane Tire three years ago for the originals. Crazy with this inflation! Shop around. read more

The technician got it right the first time and he also torqued all of the bolts that I installed for my lift kit. Entire staff was friendly. This is not your average tire shop. We were near the beginning of a 3 week RV trip and stopped in Hurricane for 2 nights with friends. The rear inside tire on our Forester MBS motorhome had lost pressure one morning and we needed to get it repaired ASAP. Fortunately, Hurricane Tire Pros were close to the rv park we stayed at, and were open and available to look at the tire within an hour. They quickly determined the problem (our recently installed valve stem was leaking), removed the tire and tightened down the valve stem so we could get back on the road. A couple weeks late but I thought I'd do my part in giving these guys the credit they deserve. We were on a 10 day road trip when I suddenly got the death wobble. It was very scary but the worst was we felt out trip was going to be over. This happened on a Sunday, every auto shop was closed. We managed to pull into Zion River Resort RV Park (Major props to them as well) and they let us stay there for the night so I can find a shop to fix the Jeep on the morning. Monday morning I went to about 3 shops and called about 5 others and they all were either busy or low in hands. Finally made it to Hurricane Tire Pros where I dealt with John I believe and they kept the Jeep for the day. This was about 8am. By 11am they had called me letting me know my track bar was broken and they can get the part in by next morning. They are wonderful. On a road trip, picked up SUV in Vegas from Hertz. 3 hour wait to get the reserved car, then they ran out of cars. 3 miles from rental place we realized they gave us a car w a low tire. Ok- we fill it with air. If we go back we know they are out of cars and already have tons of mad people waiting more hours for cars. We carry on and make it to Zion. But when we go to leave, tire is nearly flat so it's not a slow leak like we hoped. We call Hertz and they tell us it's our fault we didn't complain immediately and it's $80 to have someone put a donut on. We have a 2 hour drive ahead through mountains and no cell service, we're not driving on a donut. Found Hurricane tire pros, put air in and drove 30 min to them. They were lifesavers and trip savers. STOP! Don't go to the big-box tire stores in St. George - Hurricane Tire Pros is legit! We lost a tire on our boat trailer driving in from Southern California. On a Saturday, I called every tire store in the area. These guys had my tires (not all shops had them), and very honestly told me that they were super busy and that I'd have to leave the trailer for several hours. Every other tire shop I called either didn't have the tires, put me on hold for 20 minutes and never picked up the call, or told me they had them, then when pressed checked the computer and said they didn't (those last two being the two big chain stores in St. George). Decided to wait until Monday, got there at 8, place was busy, but they had my tires done in less than an hour, and gave me a cash discount. They were nice, knew their business and incredibly honest. A friend and I were on a road trip and decided to go camping in the near by BLM. I had hit a boulder the night we entered and destroyed my steering knuckle and blew off my tire. It was Sunday and they didn't open until Monday. We went in first thing in the morning and they diagnosed the issue within an hour.
