The full review is in the pictures since I had too much to say and warn potential customers about. Jake claimed to take it to multiple suspension experts so they can all brainstorm together what should be done to fix the horrible wandering issue with my truck. He only requested that I pay for one of the technicians work to adjust my rear axle slightly (about $500) and that this was all for that other shop and nothing was being charged for himself. When I got my truck back that adjustment didn't do a thing to fix the issue. Then we both took the truck to another alignment shop and the technician there said he was positive the ball joints the previous mechanic installed were faulty or installed wrong. That alignment specialist specifically was adamant about the ball joints requiring to be replaced with stock ball joints and not aftermarket upgrades like they had done. I wanted to follow that specialist's recommendation but Jake said not to trust that specialist because he was, I quote, "a parts changer" and was just going to waste my money like the other mechanics and he said he wanted to do the job himself and not use that specialist to change the ball joints. When I kept hesitating to allow Jake to use aftermarket Ball joints he specifically told me that if those Dynatrack ball joints did not fix the issue, he would pay the the parts out of his pocket and replace them with OEM ball joints. So I went ahead and trusted him. The parts were replaced and he kept the truck for a week to drive around and wear the parts in because the wandering still wasn't going away. After that week he handed the truck back to me and the wandering was worse than ever. He also claimed that he wasn't charging me for the labor time he spent driving my truck to wear the parts in but that he would appreciate it if I would pay him $500 for the fuel he spent on it. This was prior to the diesel fuel spike so I figured it was still partially for his time because I myself can't spend $500 in a week in fuel towing with that truck daily. However not only was my truck still wandering very badly when he gave me the back but when I was hitching my trailer up to it a day or two later I realized that the brand new Banks tail assembly pipe that I had just installed on it a month ago was missing. When I called to ask about the pipe figuring they must have just somehow forgotten to put it back on he told me he would ask the other special technicians for it because they themselves never touched it or had it. Well he claimed that non of the other technicians from other shops would fess up to it so he would pay it out of his pocket and just forget about the $500 fuel charge he was charging me for. That brand new pipe cost me $550. At this point I had lost all trust. Now I started doing research on line on my own asking for help on social media on pages with people with the same trucks. I posted a video of the new track bar still flexing and they basically laughed at me accusing me of doing the improper work myself because the track bar was flexing due to it being installed UPSIDE DOWN. When I asked how I should fix it and that I paid someone to do it they gave me insertion how to fix it myself and told me to immediately fire that mechanic. Unfortunately it still didn't fix the wandering issue so I tried another local mechanic in town to try and hopefully fix the issue. That last mechanic basically shook his head and told me, and I quote "I feel sorry for you". I gave him the receipts of the work Jake had done and he told me I was basically being milked. This new mechanic took me into his shop while my truck was on the lift and showed me exactly what those new ball joints were doing to my wheels by trying to force the tires manually. He not only switched the ball joints for me fixing the wandering issue but he did it in half the time the Jake charged me for. Now if I was being purposely charged extra to be swindled or I was charged extra hours due to lack of experience, I will leave it up to the reader or the next unfortunate customer this happens to. Either way you look at it it still comes down to unethical practice since my work towing rig could inevitably cause harm to anyone in the vehicle as well as anyone around me on the road with the amount of horrible wandering and improperly installed parts it had. I have waited many weeks now for a response and for the promised reimbursement for improper installation and have not heard a word or response to my text message or voice message I left with his other shop technicians since now when I call he never happens to be available to talk. So at this point I don't expect any reimbursement for my loss. My only hope is that no one else receives the experience I have had and looses thousands in wasted money. read more

I brought my 1959 Cadillac to Jake at Done Right to address several leaks and to get the AC in working order. After roughly three and a half weeks at his shop, Jake tried to return the car to me in far worse condition than when I left it with him. Jake and his guys managed to scratch and damage both inner wheel wells under the hood, scratch the painted glove box, and left the interior of the car completely filthy. At that point, I should have taken my car elsewhere to correct the damage he had done instead of leaving it with him longer to fix. Sure enough, he repainted the wheel wells (looks worse now), he sent my glove box panel to his guy Cody at Pristine Shine detailing which also looks far worse than it did even with the scratch on it. Aside from the damage to the car, the AC duct work was never properly reinstalled, and the car had a stutter under throttle which was new since he did the work. It wouldn't have been so bad if Jake didn't have an excuse for all the damage I found to my car. He had no interest in taking ownership of the damage caused and addressing it properly. I will take some responsibility, I should have known better after seeing his operation and the condition of his shop. The shop itself is disgusting, he has teenagers doing most of the work it looks like. When I went to finally pick up my car he has kids running around the shop and my car like a playground, at that point I just wanted to get my car out of there before he could do more damage to it. I fully expect to take the car to someone capable to fix the damage Jake already tried to fix. I would implore you to find service for your car elsewhere. No consideration or care was given to my car while it was in Jake's hands, I'm sure there are plenty of other options in St. George that will actually take care of trying to return it to you damaged in disgusting condition. Hopefully my lesson helps you steer clear of Done Right. read more

I had to change my rating down to 3 stars. Jake did a nice job with all of the work initially, but the compressor he installed broke and had to replaced again. Good news was it was under warranty but the bad news is that he couldn't provide warranty information and then disappeared from texting, so I had to buy a new compressor and pay someone else to repair everything. read more

I was having idling trouble with my f-150. So I called Josh from Done Right Mobile Auto repair. We talked about it back and forth and he told me he would be able to fix it. Josh came by and fixed it right away. That coyote engine now runs great built to pull a load. Josh is a great guy real friendly and honest. Every auto shop I called said I had to pay for a diagnostic to the tune $200 bucks out of my pocket. Times are hard were having trouble making ends meet. home, groceries and gas. I discovered my car had a dead battery on Sat, 8/26. I subsequently found out it was so dead it couldn't even be jumped, so I was going to need a tow to the dealer's or a mobile mechanic since I don't have the tools to DIY. The car's a '19 Volkswagen GTI with a battery management system that requires the computer to be updated / coded with info from the new battery using special diagnostic hardware and software...it's high maintenance. I started searching online for a mobile mechanic Sat evening, sending quote requests to 5 mechanics. One mechanic never responded, one said they'd respond but never did, and two said they couldn't provide service (because of aforementioned battery system complexity). Jake replied on Sun and within 18 hours of when I initially sent the requests, and was then in regular contact on Yelp and via phone the next day collecting and exchanging info. He gave a reasonable quote, which included the battery at cost and plus a range based on his hourly rate (including travel time and labor). Mon (8/28) evening Jake bought and installed the battery, but wasn't able to do the recoding because his main diagnostic tool had been sent out to get updated, and his backups weren't compatible with my car. He promised to return to do the coding at no extra charge. He returned on Wed only to find that the Volkswagen car group had been removed from his updated diagnostic tool. He immediately bought the necessary hardware and a corresponding software subscription. On Fri 9/1, he returned to my house, updated the computer system with the new battery's info, cleared any battery-related diagnostics errors, and checked all other diagnostics to ensure everything was functioning properly. I know this is a long review, but I wanted to emphasize that this was not your normal battery replacement. Despite the complexity and challenges, Jake honored his commitment, completed the job, and went above and beyond. He is personable, professional, communicative, thorough, as well as obviously very knowledgeable about his trade. His actions matched his words and promises, demonstrating that he is honest, fair, trustworthy, and just a "good guy." He is definitely the person you want working on your vehicle/s. While on our trip to Chicago the battery light on the RV came on late Friday afternoon. After calling 12 places and not getting responses I left a message at Done Right and they responded soon after. Even though Jake had a crazy day with many other things going on he went out of his way to get the part needed prior to the store closing and coming out to the RV park to repair the alternator. Hired Jake to do 2005 Yukon xl air actuator replacement and tilt/telescoping motor for my 2001 Lexus. I already purchased the Lexus parts from the dealership. He went ahead and ordered the actuator parts and told me it's delivering on Friday. He called same Friday morning and told me let's scheduled do this Lexus first and do the actuator after the lexus when it delivers that afternoon. Minds you they don't have the parts on hand but expecting it this afternoon, which is wild because what if ups delays?? Anyway, He is very push but I went along. Jake quoted me 2hrs for the tilt/telescoping motor and 6hrs for the actuators. His guy shows up name Daniel, start the job at 9:30am. My Yukon battery was dead so awhile he was working on Lexus I went to get a new battery. I came back around 10:30am. Daniel said he was done replacing the tilt motors but told me it wasn't working and he thinks it's fuse or electrical issue. But when I looked at the parts the manufactured date says 22-12-2, so I questioned him that why the new parts outside and not installed? He then says "oh I might've reinstalled the old part back in, sorry, let me switch this out again" after an another hour I looked out side they were gone. When he came back saying the battery was dead and he had to go get a battery charger. Which is bullshit because battery was fine, he didn't even told me he was leaving even-though he saw my battery charger/starter for my Yukon in my garage when I was trying to restart it earlier. But He was able to started it in 30min later?? after replacing the tilt motor. That's BS move to drag more hours...Im sure He dragged the hrs because incase I decide not to do the other job since I told Jake that your guy Daniel is shady and I wasn't feeling comfortable. And, No way dead battery can be fully charged within 30min otherwise he could have just jumped the battery. Well long story short I wanted to see if he would charge 2hr as he promised or 3.5 with all the bullshit they pulled. He kept asking me are you going to do the other job. So I said not before how you bill me for the job they already did. I said I don't know for sure but bill me first please and I'll let you know later today. Well he decided to charge me 3.5 hrs all due to their shoddiness but he said he would have kept it at 2hrs if he knows I went ahead and do the other job. Well I said you charging me 3.5 hrs when you promised 2hr solidify I shouldn't work with you because you can't be trusted just like your mechanic Daniel. So he loses on job he already purchased the parts and I lose because he decided to stiff me with additional bs hrs. So do not trust these guys. Jake is from Utah and hire Daniel as his mechanic so he has no idea what this guy does or doesn't. Do not give any work, they are shady and they are not local. Daniel isn't fulltime mobile mechanic with Jake, he has other full time job. Im pretty sure Jake will responds below but don't believe it. read more

Listen - you can look and tell I rarely leave reviews. Ended up having a leaking radiator hose. In the 114 degree Arizona heat, I don't want to risk blowing my engine or driving on it. Looked around and called a few places to either get no response or unwillingness to work in the afternoon. Jake picked up the phone on the first ring, gave me a time he'd be here, and he was here. We unfortunately had bad luck with Jake and Josh. It started out great very responsive and helpful on the various jobs we needed done. After coming out to do a diagnostic on a check engine light we never received a diagnostic report which we needed for the dealer to have resolved as we just purchased the car. It's now been 3 weeks or more without that report and can't get a reply back. If they weren't able or willing or have time to do the work should have been upfront with us and not charged the diagnostic to us. have an older Jaguar that has a GM engine. In early May, it shuddered to a stop as I pulled into my driveway, so I contacted Done Right to avoid having it towed. The 'mechanic' diagnosed the problem as a bad air filter (?) and charged $351. I took the car out and drove less than an hour before all coolant gushed out as I was pulling into the driveway. A few days later the same person came out, spent many hours diagnosing the problem and ended up changing the water pump and thermostat as well as installing a drive belt that I had on hand for $1495. When I returned from an extended vacation (car left in the garage while I was gone), the car had a very loud knocking noise from under the hood. I made repeated attempts to call / text Done Right, but was completely 'ghosted.' As the car was not drivable, I ended up having it towed to an actual mechanic in Glendale, who re-installed the belt and fixed an electrical problem caused by the original 'mechanic.' Another $700. Moral of the story is it's best to go to an actual garage, even if it needs to be towed there. read more

I'm beyond impresssed. I needed brakes and rotors for my Tacoma and requested quotes from a few places on Yelp. I got a few responses back, answered questions they needed and through it all, I felt most comfortable with this one. Jacob called me, we talked and said he'd be over in about 45 minutes. I was thinking I'd be lucky to get them done in the next week, but he showed up, explained everything very well and said he could jump on it right then. He pulled the tires, did some inspection and determined all I need was the fronts taken care of and no need to spend more money on the rear tires. He showed me exactly what he was seeing and took care if it all right in the confines of my own garage. He has all the necessary tools and is very knowledgable in many areas of mechanics. In the end, I would never have gotten the service and quality he gave from a regular brake place ir dealership. I'm not one to do these reviews, in fact it's probably my 3rd one ever for something, so take that as you please. I would highly recommend his service if you need work on a vehicle. read more
