After striking out at several tile stores and Home Depot/Lowes, we remembered WZ and headed over there. Holy crap, they have some BEAUTIFUL tiles and stones, and priced accordingly (one of tiles I liked was quoted at $128.40/sq. ft., and that was the trade price - turns out I didn't like it anymore after hearing that). We were lucky to be greeted immediately when we walked in, and helped by Andrew. Even after we let him know that we were only shopping for the backsplash, his friendly demeanor didn't change one whit and treated us as if we were going to spend thousands of $. We picked out a couple of tiles and Andrew said he'd e-mail us the details, like prices and turnaround time (neither were in stock as they were both made-to-order). He also let us take the floor sample of the one the husband and I both liked (and eventually ordered) with us so we could make sure it'd look good with the rest of the kitchen. We received Andrew's e-mail very promptly, which was a very pleasant surprise, and the entire ordering process was done online, which made things incredibly easy and safe. If that wasn't good enough, we received the tiles earlier than promised! We were told the typical turnaround time was 2-3 weeks. We got them in 10 days!! Our experience with Andrew was the best among all the vendors we've dealt with during our extensive home renovation process. We've been lucky in that we've had good/great experiences with everyone so far, but Andrew stands out. He was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and most important, FUNNY! All hail Andrew!!!
