Due to the error on their behalf I am having to wait 2 more days for them to fix my medical card for my DOT physical. Went to see them to have them correct it and they said I would have to wait until Saturday for them to fix it. Despite filling out forms and them having my id somehow they swapped my first and last name in the National Registry for DOT. read more

Went here about a month ago now to be seen for having a fever and horrible headaches (waited close to 2hours in the waiting room), and had a few things done but I also just got a bill in the mail from "Labcorp", and I looked at it and thought, "I didn't ask them to do this test". So, therefore I'm stuck paying a big bill that I never even asked for. Never going back to this place. From the people working there, I feel as if I'm more qualified than they are to do THEIR job and I have no background in anything medical. read more

I was a walk in. Didn't know you had to have an appointment. However, due to the nature of my wound they took me. Everyone was accommodating and friendly. When it was time for me to be seen the person didn't have on a badge so I don't know if I was seen by a PA or by a doctor. He looked at my wound, bandaged it up and told me how to care for it as it healed and what I could do for my injury. Idk I guess I was looking for more. Would I recommend this place maybe. read more

The Sunday after Veterans Day I arrived 15 minutes before the listed opening time of 8:00am. There were already 2 other people in line. The weather was upper 40's & windy. By 8:00 I was 3rd in a line of 6. By 8:30 I was 3rd in a line of 12. Eventually, we all gave up & left. The place never opened. No sign on the door (other than open Sundays 8:00-4:00), no message on the phone. The entire staff apparently decided not to show up. The lady who was first in line said that this has happened before on a holiday weekend where they decided to close down with no notice. The "physician assistant" that I saw had horrible bedside manor. After waiting 20 mins in the room he barged in and didn't say two words to me before prescribing something. He didn't even give me his name, I had to ask if he was a Dr and he was super rude. He spent 5 nasty mins with me, I felt super uncomfortable so as he walked out to get a prescription pad or something (God knows what) I got up and left. I'm not local to this area, but I was referred to this location by my employer. I needed a form signed stating I was medically cleared to perform a fitness examination as a part of the hiring process. I had visited a previous FastMed location closer to home and I was told they couldn't help me. I called the Wilson FastMed and my questions were answered and it was confirmed they could help me with what I needed here. A bit confused as to why certain places are able to provide service and others are not. That's not very convenient. The care I received was professional. There was a bit of a wait. I've been here many times for work related circumstances and they use to be really good but have lately been lacking. Recently my wife visited to rule out possible pneumonia. We consider pneumonia a serious thing but this place doesn't. On top of being slow, they acted very childish, just wanting to have a fun time, not taking my wife serious. They diagnosed her with bronchitis and gave her a prescription but, instead of send it to the pharmacy just down the street on hwy 42, they sent it to a pharmacy in Raleigh. ??? I waited for 2 hours in a small room waiting for the provider despite the staff told me at check in that I will be seen shortly. I was in pain due to a minor accident. The provider stormed in and I dared to say that I've been waiting for 2 hours and I'm in pain. The provider started yelling at me talking about the short staffing. I asked her not to raise her voice on me then she went out of the room and yelled to the staff" I will not going back there" I left without exam and treatment. I will report this provider to the corporate as well as to the board of Physician Assistants in NC. read more

I've been here a few times. The staff has always been awesome and I've always received great care. Four stars because I just discovered today, after waiting for over 2 hours to be seen, that they do not honor the online appointment system. That's something that would have been nice to know ahead of time. Three hours in and I still have not been seen by a doctor. They should really tell you at check in that your appointment means nothing. You shouldn't even be able to make an appointment online if they do not honor them here. Three stars. read more

Came in while out of town in tears due to a painful finger injury and was promised I would be in and out fast. It wasn't very busy when we arrived. We ended up getting stuck there for 2 HOURS Almost 40 mins of waiting and 30 mins later just to get x rays (that I didn't need.) I eventually lost track of the time and got frustrated so I refused any other services they wanted to do. Waited for nearly 20 more mins JUST to have the doctor come in and bandage me up. This made me even more frustrated and I just walked out of the exam room to leave, only to see he was more focused on stuffing his face with Chinese food!! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT COME HERE. They don't live up to their name (FAST) and very rude and inconsiderate of that doctor -especially since I was already in pain. This whole visit was nothing but a huge inconvenience for us and put us behind on our trip. You know it's sad because my husband wanted to run across the street to Walmart to just get me what I needed. He could have been back in 15 mins and I'd still be sitting in their waiting room!! read more

My husband made an apt for 2:50pm bc his ankle has been bothering him... I offered to drive him, grab a coffee, and come back to get him. It's now 4:40 and he JUST texted me saying that he's just been called back. What! If you make an apt, why would the wait be for 2 hours? If he had known that, he would have just walked in with no apt. I've been there a few times and every time I've gone I've noticed the receptionist acts like she doesn't want to work there and doesn't know what's she's doing. She's always been very rude and today when I went she gave me false information about transferring medical records. I called a second time and another woman gave me false information again. I only knew it was false when I called a third time and finally someone told me the truth and actually knew what they were talking about. Ridiculous. Wasted my day waiting around for a call back (just like last time) and never got it. And the last time I was there they gave me medicine for what I went in for and also sent it to Raleigh. Just reading the other reviews I'm noticing a pattern. Going into more detail with the rude receptionist... the second time I went there was when it snowed this past winter. I drove there since everything else was open and when I got there the door was unlocked so I went in. I saw the receptionist and she asked me what I needed. I said to make an appointment and she snapped and told me to hold on because she wasn't ready for the day. If I could give a negative star I would. I had to get a TB test for work and just moved to Wilson so I thought I will go there since I don't have a family doctor yet. 3 hours and $90 later I was told to come back by Sunday at 6:15, it was even written on the paper. I walked in the door at 4:04 on Sunday and the first thing the oh so nice lady at the front desk said was "we're closed" I honestly thought she was joking. I said you told me to come back by 6:15 today to have this read. She said who told you that, I said you and it's written here. She went in the back and spoke with someone and came out and said "we're closed" again. So basically I paid $90 and spent 3 hours to learn I will never go back here. These are not real doctors who focus on patient care, only worried about collecting that money. read more

So I came here on 5/31 ... from my experience this is what urgent care should be. Because of co. Vid you are made to make an appointment online. So that no one is in the waiting room. I made my appointment the night before after 12am. There were lots of appointment slots to my relief. Upon arrival the receptionist was nice. I was charged $89. A fraction of what u would have been billed at a horrible Wilson hospital ER. I lost my job I. January and no longer have health insurance. I did have to wait about am20-30 minutes but the waiting room was empty and they had just two patients inside Seeing the doctors. Once I was see. I had to take urine which showed I had a kidney infection l. The nurses decided to see if they could stabilize my fever in order to avoid hospitalization. Once they did I was prescribed a a strong anti abiotic since the infection l was very strong. The nurse even gave me options and aids if I couldn't afford the medication. I got the care I needed and the medication I needed! read more

Then the doctor told me to give my daughter vitamin D for something that turned out to be a sinus infection when I brought her to another doctor. Go some place else. I would have given 0 stars if it would have given me the option to do so. This place did not used to be like this. When they first opened up, they were quick, efficient and spot on. I don't know what happened, but for about a year it has been going down hill. I had my final experience with them last week. I took my daughter on Tuesday to have her checked out (possible flu but also complaints of sore throat). There was a note on the door that they were out of flu tests. That's fine because surely they can still prescribe when they see her and check her out. The receptionist reminded me of the sloth in Zootopia, because that is how excruciatingly slow she was moving to get us checked in. There was one person ahead of us. One. No one else after us. We were there for 1 hour and 30 minutes before the doctor came in. After examination, the doctor claimed she thought it was the flu, but could not give her Tamiflu because that has to be taken within the first 48 hours of onset of symptoms. (Her "symptoms", a fever of 100 and a slight cough, began Sunday night and this was Tuesday at noon.) Apparently in her world this was LONGER than 48 hours and she would not give my daughter Tamiflu. Then she went on to ask me if I would consider taking her to the ER. THE EMERGENCY ROOM.... IN WILSON.... FOR WHAT? No ma'am. At this point we were at the 2 hour mark. So much for "Fast Med". We left. No thank you. You did not help me, you did not help my daughter, and I will not go back. read more
