No actually a horrible place no offense, receptionist was angry, the doctor didnt listen to what i had to say. Told her it was kidney pain she told me to eat more fiber and chia seeds- it was such a horrible and pointless visit they shouldnt have gotten any money. I was taking at home antibiotics (natural ones- like oil of oregano) i told her that would affect the test results, they came back that i dont have a uti but literally a few days later i stopped taking it and im back to worse again. But actually its just 'constipation' I know my body and thats not it the gas lighting in the medical system is crazy. read more

Keep in mind, I know I'm also at fault for my arrival time. I've also been this this location for the last three years because I trusted them so much. I get to this location Friday October 31st at 7:31pm and walk up to the desk to check in like I normally do. The girl working the front desk goes "yes?" And I proceed to tell her why I needed to be seen when she then said with a nasty attitude "I can get you in tomorrow at 8am" and I asked why I couldn't be seen now, (keep in mind she had all the lights off in the lobby minus behind the desk so it seemed like they were closed clearly she didn't want to be there), she then said I "didn't have a reservation and all the rooms were already checked in" and that they "don't take walk ins from 8am-7pm." Never once have I been DENIED CARE at this location because I did not have a prior "reservation" for any room... like it was a damn hotel. This set me off and I stormed out because I have NEVER felt so disrespected. I'd like a superior to remind this front desk girl their hours of operations AND polices because clearly she's making up her own. I could have been seen, she just wanted to leave since it was Halloween night. NEVER will I recommend this office again or trust them with my own care. Disgusted. read more

The absolute best care I have EVER had at any urgent care. In with Covid and secondary infections..Has X-ray, Lab and other conveniences when so sick. Got everything I needed in a timely manner. Staff was respectful and amazing. So thankful. Thankyou!! read more

I am glad I went to this place at the first symptom yesterday. Everyone and I mean everyone that works here were compassionate and caring, the wait time was only about 6 minutes and the nurse called us, yes the two of us got the same bronchial infection at the same time, she took care of all the vitals and then took us to another room where Dr. Conger saw us. He gave us both a Z pack and I didn't want to start until the symptoms were more evident, today at 10am it was unbearable and I am so glad we had the Z with us. It is the firs time that we both come down with something at the same time and being disappointed would have contributed to feeling even more miserable but that was not the case thanks to the wonderful staff. Facility is clean and they really moved fast to minimize the wait and suffering. Dr. Conger's diagnosis was on point because my fever is gradually going down and I am hoping that by mid week I will be out of the water. Thank you all for the job well done Duke read more

unless you have hours to wait, I recommend checking out other urgent cares - I have been here twice and same wait.

I came in on a weekend after falling on a hike.. I knew immediately something was wrong with my ankle by how swollen and painful it was, so we went straight to the urgent care. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. We waited about 35 minutes before heading back with the nurse. Since I couldn't bear any weight, they ordered an X-ray to see if it was broken. The X-ray tech was super nice and helped me walk back to the machine. Once the xrays were processed, the doctor told me the results (no break!), gave me a piece of paper with instructions to rest and iced it, and swiftly left the room. I felt a little dismissed, which is the last thing you want to feel at the doctors office. I realize a sprained ankle isn't the end of the world, and had I gone to the ER I would expect that kind of treatment... but not at an urgent care! I can't imagine they get much more serious than sprains and colds. An ankle brace or even diagnosis of a sprain would have been appreciated! Anything more than a generic print out. Overall, the rest of the staff was nice and I felt like they cared. Maybe I just caught the doctor on the wrong day... either way, I'll probably avoid this location next time. read more

Thank you RN Tiffany & Dr. Allaun for turning around my horrible encounter with Dr. Sheflin this morning. I've never even been treated so disrespected and rudely by a physician and it's never acceptable. When you are not feeling well and seek medical attention, the last thing you expect is to be treated less than human. Dr. Sheflin was very passive aggressive, no empathy, attitude and clearly acted like he didn't want to be bothered. I declined his suggestions for test because I didn't want to continue to be seen my him. I told him that I wanted to end this visit and will follow up with my primary care doctor. RN Tiffany came in when she heard I wanted to leave, offered me to see another doctor. She was very caring and extremely understanding. Dr. Allaun was phenomenal!!! Thank you both so much for caring so much to make sure I was physically ok to be released. I've been to this location before and never had a issue. I will continue to go there when needed, but DR. SHEFLIN could never ever treat me. read more

This Duke Urgent Care facility is open 7 days a week, 8a-8p. The staff are always very friendly, very fast to get you in, and willing to listen and come up with the best treatment options possible. After going to wake mad er on the 1st and having a bandaid put on my symptoms I decided to go in on the 6th to get a second opinion. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Bennett and couldn't be happier. From the time I walked in I was seen quickly and the entire staff was more than friendly. Dr. Bennett took his time with me and listened to my problems. He explained everything in great detail after switching my antibiotic along with a few other medications that I had needed. He also referred me to an ENT if I wasn't feeling better within a couple days. I was in and out with a hour on a Sunday afternoon. This place is a must go to if your in the need of urgent care!! read more
