Working with this company was terrible from the beginning, I should've known they were gonna be nothing but problems. So first of all, I've used them in the past and back when I used them the last time m, like 15 years ago, they were great. This time They were far from great, in my eyes what they did was criminal. So I paid all the expedition fees to have my passport done in 30 days, paid them, spoke to them. They said it was no problem. They would handle it. Five months later, I still didn't have my passport. And getting people on the phone at their agency was nearly impossible. I had to fool The automated service each every single time and say I had to talk to someone to basically pay them, and then I would get transferred to an agent who take my phone call. If you call them tell let them know you have a problem, all they do is take a voicemail message and they never call you back. Ever. When finally I got sick of waiting for my passport, eight months later, I said I want my money back. Once again, I got the runaround. They made me send some paperwork to someplace in West Palm. I had to mail it in of course. And then after two more months of not hearing from them. I called back. And then I got an email after the phone call saying they weren't gonna give me my refund. Do not recommend, horrible experience! My plans changed within two days of starting my new passport application. I never completed it and wanted to get a refund. No option to contact online, no support email. My only option was to call, which I did, and they had me fill out an online cancelation form. They said it would take two business days... this was 3 weeks ago, 15 business days. I've called repeatedly and get the same answer that their billing system is behind. I ordered an expedited passport with all sorts of bells and whistles then had to stay and didn't need it asked for my refund and have been trying to get it for over two years yes two years it's over $800 I have done everything possible to get it back I'm not getting it and I can only assume this is a scam that is perpetrated on more than just me. Run away from them. Total rip off. They added time by taking a week. A few phone calls with long hold times, a representative who gave completely wrong information. I asked for a manager, they said would call back. A week later with no call. Submitted an email, no reply. Asked for a call by email, no reply. Paid $250 for them to put our trip at risk. Luckily a connection in Congress intervened and had the passport complete in 36hours. Still no call back from fastport. If you need something expedited, contact your representative in Congress. I used fastport passport recently to renew my passport expeditated. I got my passport just in time, so I suppose all is well that ends well, but I do have some issues where I feel the service was misrepresented and therefore I cannot recommend. The good part is their online wizard makes completing the application very easy and error free. It correctly calculates the amount to send and exactly how to assemble the application. It's like TurboTax for your passport. However, these are the issues that I had: - Ther website promises that your application will skip the line and be walked into the passport office. This is not the case. I sent my application to Florida and then I could see through the tracking on their own site, that after their review, they shipped the application elsewhere. This slows down the process - I opted for 5 week service. However, when I had to contact the passport office, their standard was 5 to 7 week service and that clock only begins when the passport office receives the application, not when fastport does. Given the added days from fastport shipping my application to the passort office, this made the process too close for comfort - Once my passport application was delivered to the passport office, stopped receiving updates through fastport's site. After a lenfthy hold time to talk to someone at fastport, they acknowledged that it was unusual that there were no updates showing but they did nothing to help. The only directed my to call the passport office. If not in a rush situation, fastport can be nice to use because of their wizard but I would caution against countin on them for any expedited requests read more

So I will first say that FastPort did end up giving me all of my money back, but...I had to file a complaint with the BBB to get them to do the right thing. I am sure that they really do help people that are in a serious jam, but I am also 100% sure there is some shady stuff going on in this company. Filled out an online form with these sweet girls guiding me with any questions that I had. There were a few price optioned based on how fast you need your passport renewed. I chose the 3 to 5 day , was about 369.00 which included the passport Govt charge and the speed part. They also have a next day option. This place is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I also received a passport card included in this price. That's good for when I go to Canada. I got a call about 3 days after applying that it's ready and I can come pick it up! I called Fast Port Passport for advice and the individual who helped me said that my passport needed to be renewed for entry into Canada, even though the expiration date was June 09, 2019. I ended up discovering that this is not true. I understand it's my fault for not directly seeking information from the U.S. Department of State for my passport validity, but the fact that I was outright lied to is a breach of the customer-vendor trust relationship. The customer service could have just said that she could not answer completely regarding this issue and I should look at the U.S. Department of State website or even directly contact the border patrol of Canada. I was refunded $224 out of the $259 that I paid. I was still charged a cancellation fee within 48 hours of payment. I feel that it is unfair that I was charged a $35 cancellation fee even though NO SERVICE was done on my behalf regarding passport renewal. Really bad experience, and I would not trust this company with my passport. This place is a TOTAL scam. Scammed me of $35 and claimed that it would take a full billing cycle to see the returned $224 on my credit card. I will be pursuing a dispute with this fraudulent institution!! read more

I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PASSPORT!!! This service is no longer what it used to be. I used them to expedite my husband's passport about 6 years ago and it was amazing. They made it so easy, they always answered the phone, they called me if there were any issues or if they needed anything. NO LONGER. I submitted my renewal application to them the last week of February (4-7 weeks wait time for the expedited service at the time, and an additional $189 on top of the government passport and expedited fees) so i could go on a driving trip to Canada with my family this Thursday (May 11th, 2023). That is 10 weeks before my travel date. They held onto my passport application for 1 MONTH before I asked them for my application status. Turns out Fastport Passport rejected my photo and sent me an email asking for a new photo, which got filtered into spam. I didn't see it until 4 weeks after submitted my application. I mailed a new photo to them the day I found the email in my spam folder. It took them a WEEK to then submit my application to the Department of State. So, after submitting my application the last week of February, it wasn't until the first week of April that my application finally made it to the Department of State. Well, in that time, the Dept. of State had received an influx of so many other applications that "expedited" now means 7-9 weeks. They have now estimated that I won't receive my passport until as early as next week (too late to have my passport and go on my trip) or as late as the first week of May!! I no longer recommend this service. I have tried to call several times. I have never gotten through to speak to anyone. I requested a call back each time but only actually received a call back once. When they called me back they left me a voicemail that just gave me my application status and COMPLETELY IGNORED my request for a refund of their fee of an additional $189. I have sent emails asking for a refund of their fee and haven't gotten a reply yet. I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY PASSPORT! Use a different service or just do it yourself. Fastport Passport is not the company it used to be, apparently, and has almost nonexistent customer service and doesn't complete the services they advertise. I wish things were different. I am pcs'ing very soon and I needed to get blue passports for my wife and stepdaughter. I spent 858$ for the one day service and overnight shipping. 29 May 18 - Overnighted applications. 30 May 18 - Confirmed arrival to Fastport Passport 31 May 18 - Called for update, told will call was scheduled next Tuesday and they will let me know if anything is wrong on that day. I asked what is the "One day business service" then if I'll just have to wait till Tuesday? Operator: "You shipped it overnight, the next day it arrives it doesn't count so really technically you are getting your one day service because we process it the following day, so actually the 31st is the start of your one day service..." What? Can someone here double check my math on this? Oh well, moving on. (4 Jun)Monday arrives, I get an email from the actual passport agency stating there are some discrepancies in the applications. Again, no word from Fastport on this. I initiated another contact with Fastport to get things straightened out. Overnighted required documents hoping for a speedy process. 8 Jun 18 - First call from Fastport this whole process and they are calling to confirm shipping address ( big sigh of relief). I just want the passports by now. I am biting the bullet on wasting over 1k with all the overnight shipping costs included. Was told to expect tracking info in email, also I asked to confirm it's for both passports? Was then put on hold... Yes both passports. Thank god 9 Jun 18 - FedEx mail at doorstep, finally they are here... Wrong, just one passport, but both names were on the "ship to label." WHAT THE F**K. So never got emailed tracking info, didn't get both passports. The Will call on the passport I received was on 5 Jun 18. Well 1k for overpriced shipping. 11 Jun 18 - Second passport arrived. Good thing Overnight was purchased for a Friday ship to a Monday delivered. I just can't in good conscience recommend this business to anyone. I was extremely leary of using and 'expediter' to rush a passport application, but found myself in a situation where I had to have my passport renewed in a short time without fail. Fastport was able to turn my application around in half the time I expected and was responsive when I simply checked in to see if it was moving ahead - in fact it was already done and being overnighted back to me. Very impressed with the level of service provided. I was skeptical when I made my initial call. I then was 'talked out of" the service when I went to the post office. Maddie went above and beyond when I called to let her know that I decided to risk it and try without Fast Port's service. Instead of being stand offish or rude about me not going with their service, she was a top shelf professional who showed real concern that the PO wasn't going to make my timeframe and I'd have to go to another option to get my passport in time. She provided me with a road map of options to take if it became close to the travel date. Maddie didn't have to do this. But she did...she did and was super helpful and pleasant the whole time. I'm a Realtor and I am one who dots the I "s" and crosses the T "s" when it comes to paperwork. I had my ducks in a row...reservations, tickets, tours, gear, and last of all double checking our passports. I thought no problem....OH NO! I checked my expiration date and OMG it had expired last year! So I was between a rock and a hard place and I was only two weeks 2 and 1/2 weeks away from taking off outta LAX to South America! When somehow while on the internet I came across "Fastport Passport" Services in Brooklyn, NY. Everything was just like they said on their site. I followed their instructions, reading up, getting new photos and completing the applications correctly including the correct fees on the evening of the 23rd. On the 24th I sent everything by priority mail. They received the paperwork on the 28th (Weekends are not counted) . On the 30th they were done and on the 31st they sent my new passport back to me by FedEx.(You gotta pay extra for that) On the 1st (today) I got my new passport in hand and was able to finalize all my reservations for my stays and for our guided tours. The passport would have gotten to me even faster but the rains and floods in the Southwest (TX, LA, and TN) was giving Fed Ex some logistical problems. None the less....as soon as it was ready "Fastport got my passport to me in one day! Kudos to all the staff there at "Fastport". You saved the day for me. Yup it cost me a couple hundred $ extra but very well worth it. We are really looking forward to enjoying our vacation now and not having to worry about my passport again for another 10 years! I just picked up my passport today from this business. I dealt exclusively with Naomi. She is very charming, professional, and courteous. I bought a Yelp Groupon for $249, which got me the $299 service at $50 off. I had my expired passport booklet and I live locally so I can't speak as to the mail in service, but in person they're very on point. Naomi told me that she'd call on Thursday to let me know that my passport had arrived, and that's just what she did. I came to pick it up, and she even scanned and emailed it to me at no cost. It's not cheap by any means (thus the 4 stars instead of 5 stars). It's pretty expensive, but when you're in a rush, you can't be too picky. Highly recommended! My husband and I are going on a European trip. He handled most of the flight bookings; I booked our flight back--all of the flight bookings were done in my married name. Thirteen (13) days prior to our trip, I realized that my 9-year-old passport was in my maiden name!! Knowing that changing a passport would be near impossible, I first attempted to change the name on all flight reservations (all 6 legs of it as we are using 6 different airlines during our trip)--well, it would have costed me approximately $900 at approximately $150/flight leg, plus the cost of international calling from my cell phone and spending up to one hour on hold and then dealing with the name changed with each of 6 airlines. So, I started looking for the alternatives on the Department of State's website. I am not sure how I got redirected to Fastport Passport, but it was through the Department of State's website (whether they were advertising with them, or it was somehow linked, I don't know). Regardless, I called the number on their website and spoke to a representative who answered the phone. She told me that I am in pretty good shape in terms of time and that I need to sign up for the service on their website, they will charge my card, and then I will get an e-mail with a list of documents that I would have to FedEx to them (overnight). Well, I paid, and waited for an email to come--I guess they were having some website issues that day, and the email did not come. I called the office directly and spoke to Madeleine who assured me that an email will be sent immediately. Lo and behold, the email from Madeleine came through. There was a link in the email stating that it will bring me to their website for forms, unfortunately it was not working that day, too. So, I had to call them again. The reason why I am stating this in the review is because things happen and businesses do experience downtime due to internet or website/technical difficulties. I saw a couple of reviews complaining about it before I started writing my review and thought that it should be addressed, because despite some technical difficulties in the initial process, the end result for me was nothing less than amazing. I collected all the documents and FedEx'ed to FastPort overnight. The documents were received by FastPort and, I believe, they began processing the following day (which is clearly stated on their website). I paid for a 2 business day processing. I have to tell you, those were the longest several days of my life. I called them again on the first day of processing to confirm that everything was OK, and they gave me an update. In the end, I ended up getting my passport one day earlier than the original estimate. This happy girl is going to Europe after all!! I will absolutely recommend this service to anyone who needs to obtain their passport on a short notice. I pretty much received my passport in one week despite the State Holiday (Independence Day) that week. (I realized that my passport was in maiden name on Friday, FedEx'ed everything on Friday night--it did not get delivered until Monday morning (bad FedEx!!), application started processing on Tuesday, appears that the passport was issued on Wednesday, Thursday was State holiday, and I received passport on Friday morning (despite initial estimate that I will receive it on following Monday). You just have to ensure that you fill out everything correctly, sign everything that needs to be signed, provide all requested documentation, be aware of processing times, and have faith in their ability to perform magic when it comes to passports. Props to Madeleine for helping me out when I started doubting the service (the whole email/technical difficulties with the website thing scared me for a moment). Fastport Passport - So excited for my trip to Canada next week - Passport & Visa Services Near Me - New York, New York

This 4 star review, while not "perfect", is a reflection of how Fastport Passport went above and beyond to turn a sub-zero star CATASTROPHE into a 4 star "very happy, you want them to handle your personal passport" review. I paid for my passport service on Feb 5, shipped them by FedEx my passport and material the next day, and I had to send a new DS-82 which they had on Feb 14. Payment to upgrade to 5-7 days on Feb 16. On Feb 27th, I did not have my passport back yet. NOTE: I posted this review just over 48 hours ago, and I seemed to get a very swift response. I was contacted by 2 different customer service reps who were seeking to fix the situation, along with the owner of the company, Steven. Long story short, there were some State Department closures that skewed the delivery timelines, and those setbacks were not communicated to me as they should (which was their customer service rep's words). On Feb 28th, my passport was renewed and Fastport had it in a FedEx envelope for overnight deliveries with many, many heartfelt apologies from Steven the owner along with Sam and Julie. The delivery today, March 1, was also a comedy of errors, since FedEx delivered my passport to the wrong house, insisting it was the right house. Thank goodness for home surveillance, because I had hours of video logs that showed NO FEDEX. Again, Steven got the FedEx Advocate Team Supervisor on the phone, and they made the driver return to the "house", which was the wrong house. Envelope was delivered 10 minutes later to my house, and my passport is happily here in my hands. Were there issues? Yes, because Fastport doesn't seem to have a proper tracking system in place. During this process, I called or emailed for updates, and the people I spoke to couldn't tell me where my passport was in the process, just assuring me I'd have it back in time for my trip. However, I initially paid for return of the passport 7-10 days after they received it, and then I paid for the upgrade to 5-7 days. Now, a tracking system might not be necessary when the State Department offices aren't being randomly closed, and winter storms aren't batting down the hatches, but it might have helped alert them (and me) to the fact my passport was delayed/lagging. Anyway, I'm jumping them from my previous 1 star review to 4 stars because Steven and Sam and Julie did exactly what they said they would, and in the moment of an oversight/mistake, they all stepped up and fixed the problem at hand. Obviously not a perfect interaction, but their quick response and tenacity to see my issue resolved makes the money well worth it SHOULD you run into the same series of unfortunate events that I did. And you probably won't. I'm certain Fastport works well, I just slipped through the cracks. I'm sure many other customers have had the same level of service, hence their great reviews, and my situation was just... well, just a one-off accident. read more

BEWARE OF ONLINE SERVICE. This review is of FastportPassport.com. I purchased an expedited passport for $279. Once my purchase was completed, I was taken to the website to start the forms, but there weren't any forms available. I searched high and low for over an hour -- nada. Customer service isn't a thing - there is NO contact information on the website. Nothing. The ONLY way I had to contact them was via Facebook Messenger. I asked for the service to be cancelled within 2 hours of purchasing given the complete lack of service -- I was pretty worried it was a scam at this point. I received an email three days later telling me that I had to fill out a form to complete the cancellation. Oh, but the form has to have been submitted within 24 hours to be eligible, so tough luck. I'm out $279 and the company did NOTHING to process my passport. I never even filled out a single form. I've submitted a complaint to the BBB. Please beware!!!! read more

The service is absolutely terrible. The user experience online is not great and the referral sites are not accurate. The fee I paid for this service without an email follow up for next steps, all but ensures me and future prospects to be very aware when using this site. These guys do not have the customer service expertise to be in the expedited passport industry. The phone was not answered at all, and the chat functionality on the site is not responsive. Coupled with no communication via email after the transaction was made gives an impression of being true amatures. Need a passport??? Forget the friggin post office and just use Fastport Passport. Seriously. I'm an Executive Assistant by day - so I've been processing expedited passports/visas for bankers.. for yearssss.. and I know the trouble it takes to get these done..... Well! I needed a quick passport for my newborn son - since we are about to take my yearly bday vacation.. ( I never spend my bday in the country:)... and of course - went to check my passport - just to be sure - and whadya know.. mine was expired..... So 2 expedited passports for us! Met with Lindsey - and I can't tell you how amazingly friendly and FAST she was!! They even take your pictures right there in the office for you... She filled all of our paperwork out - all I had to do was sign....take them over to Grand Army Plaza Library to swear in front of an official - bring that envelope back to the Fastport Passport office - and we were done... in 1.5 hrs... DONE..DONE.. DONE! I saw Lindsey on Tuesday May 1st. And she left me a message today - Friday May 4th - that my passports are done. 2 Business Days... Can you say fabulous? And if you're worried about prices? DON'T... Totally comparable to what I would have paid the post office to do an expedited job- without dealing with lines.. grumpy employees - and NOT knowing IF THEY WILL GET IT BACK TO YOU ON TIME...and risk ruining your vacation/trip. This is the way to get your passports done.. I'm never going back to the Post Office.. Recommending to ALL OF MY FRIENDS/FAMILY...and my investment firm.. - as they are faster than half of the companies we use. NOTE- You can only use Fastport Passport - if you already have travel booked for within 30 days.. so my thing is.. book your vacation/business trip/etc... then use them - if you realise that you have expired or need new passports.... I was traveling to Romania in a week and I needed to renew my passport. I called this place and they told me to come in right away and that they would take care of me. When I realized my mistake, I filled out a cancellation form within the hour and hoping to get my refund. I thought for sure a last minute St. Maarten trip was going to be squashed last year when I realized a week out that my pp had expired. I had booked a vacation to Niagara Falls Canada before realizing that my passport had expired last February. I had between 2 and 3 weeks before the trip, but I paid for 5-8 day renewal service just to be safe. What someone else said is true--when I would go to the site to check my status, there was never any information posted. But I was able to LiveChat with a rep who told me where in the process it was. Their website had all the links, information and documents you could possibly need, as well as very clear, step by step instructions, which I followed to the letter. When I had a question, I called the customer service line and the operator was very helpful and pleasant and answered my question. To make a long story short, they received my old passport and document packet via FedEx on Monday the 23rd, and it's now Thursday the 26th and my new passport just arrived via FedEx this morning.
