I love Byrne Dairy generally, but this location is an anomaly. The biggest concern seems related to…read moremanagement - I've never seen adequate staffing, no matter what time of day or night I go in. The line routinely stretches halfway through the store, and they seem incapable of running two registers at once (again, I think that falls on management and inadequate staffing). Compounding the issue, their POS system seems to run on software from the 90s - it takes forever for the card to read (if it does), which of course lengthens the line. Food-wise, they have similar selections to other Byrne Dairy's, but you have to carefully check expiration dates - twice I've bought stuff only to find out at home that it was expired (and yes, second time is on me - forgot to check). Their hot food is aggravating - they have very few items, quickly run out, and quality is wildly inconsistent. Coffee, donuts, etc. all quickly run out and are not replenished, either. Compounding all this, exiting/entering the front lot can be quite a challenge as Milton and Onondaga are both busy roads, but that's not their fault - just a deterrent. Do yourself a favor and pick a other of their many locations. I feel bad for the staff - none of this is really their fault, there's just not enough of them.

The bakery is just top notch with very satisfying baked goods. I believe the baked goods are delivered daily by Sherry's Donuts, and what a beautiful gift these deliveries are. The brownie wasn't so bad. It had a great semi-dense texture to it alongside a luscious coating of fudge frosting. I'm personally more of a thick brownie person myself, but it was alright. I give it a solid 5/10. The half moon cookie was to die for!!! The last time I tasted a half moon cookie on tHus caliber was when my mother hand made them when I was a kid. The cake part of the cookie was soft, but not crumby. And the frosting was a beautiful combo of sweet vanilla buttercream and oh so sweet chocolate! The store itself is loaded with a vast variety of snacks and drinks; yes that includes alcohol! ;D. But I digress. The deli section has all that a sandwich lover would consider as Paradise and then some. The store itself is clean, in order; it has fully stocked shelves, for the most part, and so many varieties of ice cream to choose from!
