I love Byrne Dairy generally, but this location is an anomaly. The biggest concern seems related to management - I've never seen adequate staffing, no matter what time of day or night I go in. The line routinely stretches halfway through the store, and they seem incapable of running two registers at once (again, I think that falls on management and inadequate staffing). Compounding the issue, their POS system seems to run on software from the 90s - it takes forever for the card to read (if it does), which of course lengthens the line. Food-wise, they have similar selections to other Byrne Dairy's, but you have to carefully check expiration dates - twice I've bought stuff only to find out at home that it was expired (and yes, second time is on me - forgot to check). Their hot food is aggravating - they have very few items, quickly run out, and quality is wildly inconsistent. Coffee, donuts, etc. all quickly run out and are not replenished, either. Compounding all this, exiting/entering the front lot can be quite a challenge as Milton and Onondaga are both busy roads, but that's not their fault - just a deterrent. Do yourself a favor and pick a other of their many locations. I feel bad for the staff - none of this is really their fault, there's just not enough of them. read more

Byrne Dairy is a string of convenience stores that carries local Byrne Dairy products along with a slew of convenience products. Byrne Dairy is open 24/7, carry the usual items as other convenience stores, but in addition have an extended frozen foods selection, a smaller, but convenient, selection of fresh fruits and veggies, along with a sandwich bar selling fresh made sandwiches, wraps, and even pizza and wings. And their food is served 24/7 as well. They also have a gas station attached as well, with a couple of pumps. The prices are a tad higher than in the city, unless you join their membership club, which is a little odd. You have to provide them with a valid checking account, then they send you a card that is attached to your checking account but is only valid to use at Byrne Dairy. Odd, but gets you around 10 cents off a gallon. The service is friendly, but a tad slow. Keep in mind, if you want to use a debit card at the gas pumps, their system automatically checks that you have a $75 balance in your account. You can still use your debit card inside though. This location is much smaller than the other convenience store/gas station combo type stores that Byrne Dairy has. While it still offers food, ice cream and gas, there is a much smaller selection inside, tiny aisles, and only a few gas pumps. On top of that, this location is on a very busy, hard to get in and out of intersection, so going to it can be a pain sometimes. Still a nice location if you're looking to quickly hit up a convenience store, but not my first choice of Byrne Dairys. read more

Have came in multiple times after 12pm as I am an overnight worker and shop with Byrne dairy very frequently and have been now told 3 times they will not make food and their deli is closed and they never have pizza or burgers anymore i have been very disappointed in the store in Milton ave and Onondaga blv becsuse I used to go in their almost everyday and now the new staff thinks they don't have to sell food after 12 and we'll yourbopen 24/7 so should your deli and friers atleast have pizza or burgers this is so beyond unacceptable I hope corporate sees this I get that u might be under staffed but to have nothing for food is beyond ridiculous read more

I have never had a negative experience at any Byrne Dairy until today when I stopped in to the Byrne on the corner of Milton Ave & Onondaga Blvd to get a coffee. The French vanilla creamer was empty with a couple of drops coming out and stopping. It was empty, so I asked an employee if she could please replenish the creamer. I immediately got an abrupt response from her loudly saying: "I'm already doing 87 things today" and she "stomped" away. I found her response to be extremely rude, but didn't say anything back, and asked the cashier if the manager was available. To my shock she said: "that is the manager." I asked the manager's name, and she said Eileen, saying there's a refill bag in the dispenser, and just looked at me as if she expected me to change it. The manager overheard me ask for some creamer from the cooler, and she stomped over to the dispenser where I was now standing. When I say "stomped," I mean like a three year-old would stomp when they're being forced to do something they don't want to do with their legs in a marching motion, arms close to the side and shoulders pitched forward. I had no idea why she was so angry but whatever the reason, taking it out on a customer is extremely inappropriate. When she came over to the dispenser, I pushed the button for the creamer to show her it was empty and a small drop came out and then stopped. At that moment yelled at me: "that wasn't necessary!" as if I was some kid being scolded. (I am a senior citizen) As she was opening the dispenser, I said: "every time I come in here it's empty." That set her off and she slammed the lid so hard I literally thought she fractured the machine. She refused to refill the creamer and stomped away the same way she stomped over saying loudly for everyone to hear: "I'm not taking this. I'm not allowing a customer to talk to me like that." A total meltdown! I was left standing by the creamer dispenser feeling awkward while people gave me sympathetic looks including an employee who was scooping ice cream- when I saw another employee stocking a rack. I walked over to her and asked if she could please change the bag in the creamer and she was very cordial and changed it immediately. She then apologized to me because it was empty. All during this time, the angry manager was in the back by the ovens loudly complaining that she "wasn't going to allow customer to talk to her that way," and I commented to the employee who changed the creamer "I think your manager is having a meltdown" and the response she gave made me think it was typical behavior for that manager. I can only imagine how she treats the people she manages if she gets that mad at a customer asking for creamer. After getting my coffee, I asked the cashier for the number to corporate, and her response to me was "you can look it up online." At this point I'm thinking to myself 'nobody must like working at this Byrne Dairy store.' I asked her to please write it down and she did. I left the store and went to my car and immediately called corporate only to find out they don't have a customer service department, but a rep agreed to listen to my negative experience which she said she would pass on to the district manager. She also told me the manager, Eileen, had been with them for a very long time, so apparently the bar is set low. Byrne makes the best sandwiches I've ever had, but it's not worth it being the way I was treated. I wasn't going to write a review of this incident because I was waiting for the district manager to contact me, but when I thanked the rep at corporate for listening to me and saying: "thanks, Katie," which is the name I thought she said- she snapped saying "it's Keely, it's Keely" in an annoyed tone. I even actually apologized for the mispronunciation, but when the call ended, I thought to myself, why am I apologizing for anything? I was treated rudely when I spend my hard-earned money at Byrne. All I asked for was creamer and I don't expect to be treated the deplorable way I was today. The rudeness of the Corporate rep when I mispronounced her name is what made me post this review today. Horrible customer service results in a one-star review. Both Eileen and Keely would benefit from some retraining in customer service skills before they get any more negative reviews. I wouldn't think my experience today is the impression Byrne Dairy wants to promote to their customers, but after talking to Corporate, I'm not sure. I found it amusing that as soon as I left the store the rude manager came outside to smoke a cigarette. Apparently she got her 87 things done. This particular store has a dismal review rating. Multiple one star reviews complaining about the same types of things I experienced yet none have responses from Byrne corporate. Makes me wonder why anyone patronizes this business. read more

I went to this byrne dairy at about 8:15pm, asked for 10 wings. Young lady looks back and turns back and says out fryers are off. I said but its 8pm your open 24 hours. No explanation at all just "our fryers are off" very very disappointing read more

Just recently updated this store with new pumps and cheaper gas, right now members get .14cents discount m-sat and Sundays .20 cents a gallon til January first. Then .07 mon-sat and .10 Sunday's. I just had to sign up online at their website, linked my bank account to the card and it came in the mail. It will also send an email receipt when I shop. Ice cream shoppe/ window reopens in April I believe, super delicious hard ice cream, many flavored, soft ice cream and sundaes available too! Huge portions for good price. My dog loves the "doggy sundae" a good size portion of soft vanilla ice cream in a cup with a dog biscuit on top it was around $1.08 tax included. They have a huge store full of grocery items snacks and ice cream. The deli area you can order subs and have them made in front of you. Get a sub card! After 9 stamps from 9 sub purchases you get a sub free. Can't beat free stuff. Staff is friendly prices are good. read more

The young kids that work there allow there friends to park in handicap while the elderly have to walk from afar. I wouldn't get gas here when young man was confronted with his friends he told said man; So what" my mouth dropped and 5 people in line walked out. read more
