They will not answer phone every department goes to voice mail. I have panels not working and they are under warranty.

So far not good, the project scope was to augment my existing system (15 panels) that I own. Once installed, it turns out they completely disconnected my old system of 19 panels. Trying to get anyone to listen or take accountability has been a nightmare - a lot of fingering pointing to Palmetto Energy or Centerpoint or Enlighten ( my original panels) and EVERYONE, lawyers included, agree this is on Fastrac. To make it even more frustrating - Fastrac is saying that I can't have multiple systems - and acted like I was violating my PPA with Palmetto...well that should have been apparent there were multiple systems when you literally designed this new array around my existing array and had to coordinate with Enlighten. Working with Palmetto and Enlighten and Centerpoint still - it's gonna cost me $$ to get this right. Please use someone else. read more

Fastrac energy installed bad solar panels which never generate electricity but increase electricity bills from $100 to $780 per month beyond my budget I was promfor send there will be No electricity bills at all since March 31,2023 I keep calling emailing but NO response at all. it's amazing there no regulation for customers protection from such bad service. Solar panels quit working, called to request service to fix. It was scheduled way out. While waiting, we had a hail storm and has to also schedule removal to replace roof. The part had to be ordered and sent to my house. After it got to my house, it took a week or more to get them out to put on the part. It did not work so they had to order another part. This started over a month ago and still no working panels. They removed the panels to replace roof, we finally got them out to reinstall and put on broken part. After some reschedules as a result of their people not showing up they are finally here..... just to be told they do not have all the parts to fully install and I will have to reschedule. So it seems I am going to go through all of summer paying solar electric prices with non working, not fully installed solar panels. read more

Vivint sold me the solar system and they outsourced the job to Fastrac Energy Services. After carful consideration and doing further research, we found that they designed a system to only produce 16,861kwh when in reality our home uses over 24,000 a year! So not only would the system be undersized we would not be getting money back from the utility company as promised either. Also, they didn't include a battery for the system. Why would you sell a solar system w/out a battery in TEXAS!! Seeing as this would have been a 25 yr commitment and we would be getting 2 bills for the next 25 yrs if I got this system installed, there's no way we could go through with it and requested to cancel the install. Upon sending the email informing them that we wanted to cancel the install they reached out to tell us that we could not cancel anymore and that we needed to continue with the installation, or we would have to pay the cancellation invoice. They said that failure to pay the cancellation invoice of $3514.73 could result in their legal dept sending a letter of intent to lien on our home. We tried to cancel again and this time they said the cancellation fees would be anywhere form $8000 - $10,000. They said we could only cancel by sending a cancellation request via USPS or Telegram. We did so via Telegram. They have sent me the cancellation invoice for $4,364.73 due by 05/31/24. They have already sent me a copy of the lien they want to enforce if we do not pay it by the due date totaling $42,470.40!! I would give them a zero if it were possible. In short, their sub-contractor damaged our house and left trash all over the place and it wouldn't be possible for Fastrac to care less. These guys sent their sub-contractor out to our house to install our Vivant Solar system and it's been awful. Their sub-contractor, Power Up Solar, stepped through our kitchen ceiling, drilled an errant hole in our roof, and left all the trash from the installation for us to deal with - including their lunch trash, cigarette butts, etc... We have been trying to get this rectified for over a week. The sub-contractor originally said he would fix the ceiling, but did nothing. He DID finally have a guy that he found on Angie's List call me, but the guy barely spoke English and was very unprofessional, telling me to get someone for him to speak with who spoke Spanish. I told him he couldn't come to my house because there is no one here who speaks Spanish. The sub-contractor promised for days to send someone to get the trash, but it hasn't happened; trash pick-up in our neighborhood doesn't provide for pick-up of anything that doesn't fit in a trash can. We finally reached someone at Fastrac and they won't do anything about the trash but are trying to get the sub-contractor to pick it up. It's looking more and more like we are going to have to pay to cart all this trash to the dump. And since the dump near us isn't open on Saturday, we will have to burn a PTO day to make it happen. As for the extra hole in our roof, I was just told by Fastrac that it's not their problem. Apparently, the guys "do the best they can to measure properly and sometimes their measurements are off." WTH does that even mean? How is that something to simply be dismissed? Have these workers never been taught the axiom "Measure twice, cut once" to avoid such a situation? And the ceiling in my kitchen. The ceiling that was just repainted 8 months ago? Well they want to do a simple patch and try to match the paint and the texture. Never mind that best practice for a textured ceiling - according to EVERY ONE OF THE FOUR DRYWALL CONTRACTORS we've spoken with - is to sand the ceiling, float the patch, repaint and retexturize the entire ceiling. Never mind that I will forever have a noticeable square in the middle of our ceiling, that's all they're willing to do. I guess we need to take them to small claims court or something. read more

Horrible customer service. They install the panels but damaged my house and won't repair it. PSA: The saga continues. So this am Fastrac Energy Services sends out a guy to repair the hole in our ceiling done by their crew during a solar installation. The owner Jordan Fruge who refuses to take calls sent one of his men to Patch the hole. The gentleman told us he can't match the texture or paint and it would be very noticeable. Even he said he needs a texture blower machine to match the "orange peel " texture and that the whole ceiling needs to be done and repainted so it will make repair as invisible as possible. Jordan Fruge wants to only provide a half-ass patch job. I'm sorry but I will only accept a good job, done right. I'm sure if it was his ceiling he wouldn't think it was acceptable. If Jordan Fruge continues to ignore us and won't make this right I will see him in court. Soon. Fastrac Energy service needs to revisit customer service. I will be reporting to BBB and Veterans Administration for failure to take care of damages. read more

We had them install a MASSIVE system. The total cost was $130k. I wish I knew how AWFUL the experience with them as the installer was going to be. At this point i'm unsure if i'm going to have to hire a lawyer to finish things with them. Their designers changed the design without my consent and I didn't sign off on what they installed. The installation was mostly done when I noticed something was different. We will see if they hold true to their guarantee. Installation was in Sept. As of writing this review, there are still all the boxes and trash still sitting in our barn after being told numerous times they'll get it taken care of. It's been over 6 months since the installation. Their company LIED to the company funding the loan that the project was complete. As of writing this review, IT'S STILL NOT COMPLETE. I've paid my loan AND insanely high electricity bills (more than doubling my monthly bill) and spending almost $900/month on electricity because I had to also pay for the solar bill that should entirely replace my power bill. Had I been able to pay according to the contract, I should have had AT LEAST 90 days from when my solar panels kick on and when I am supposed to start paying on my loan. This is because it can take a few months to fully kick on via the power company. Nope, i've been paying more than DOUBLE because they lied to the loan company. THEN the engineers decide to change the placement of my batteries AFTER they're installed. Still waiting to hear about the finish of this installation. They have directly violated our contract and have refused to reimburse me for payments their failure as an organization has made me pay by stating the project was complete when it wasn't. By their own contract, they're supposed to have at least 90 days from the completion of the panels to when i'm supposed to start paying. I've called and emailed them numerous times just to get blown off and NOTHING DONE! RUN, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! read more

We had solar panels installed by Fastrac in September 2022. The contract includes a 10 yr. warranty. Our roof started leaking for the first time ever after a rain storm in October 2022. After 3 inspections by Fastrac, the company has denied any liability, even though an independent roofing company placed the blame squarely on Fastrac's installation practices. Now we have to pay for Fastrac to remove and reinstall the panels (we were told $5,000). Then pay for the damage to our roof. AND good luck getting past "customer service" or getting a return call to speak to someone who knows what they are talking about. read more

When I originally signed up for the service they told me about the Tax Rebate and that's what made my decision for the service, the amount of the rebate would be a substantial amount to pay on the loan, but as I tried to apply for the rebate I'm finding out that if you're on SSI or SSDI you are not eligible for the rebate, I guess that they forgot that little bit of information. Strange that they remembered every other TAX issue of the contracts process. So if you are on SSI or SSDI DON'T get this service if you're expecting to get the tax rebate to help pay for the system because it is not going to happen. This company quoted us a 110% coverage for our electric bill. We had already had 1 solar panel system and they were the second solar company that we added to our home. We were promised to never have a solar true up bill again, here we are 2 years later and paying true up bills once again with a second set of solar panels. Now they are saying we need to add a few more panels to off set the cost of electricity. Not to mention they had offered us $2000 in cash once the job was completed and only gave us $1000. Not sure if they pocketed the money but on our written contract they had $2000. They gave my husband some sorry story why they couldn't give us the rest of the money. I have to have my roof replaced and started to go through Lubbock Fast Trac, even got a quote, I can't bring myself to fund this company. I am so glad that I found out I am not trapped. Fast trac will not be receiving anymore money from this unsatisfied customer. When you get solar and sign up using Enphase they will pay the labor fees up to a certain point based on your contract. I am within the first 2 years on my contract, so I am still covered under that umbrella. Fast Trac attempted to charge me $200-$250 for coming out to my house to work on my solar system they installed, multiple times. Even though I was still within my first 2 years and Enphase would've covered that cost. The system worked fully for only a month, this entire time. Then microinverters started going out. I have had my system since 2022 and it's not been fully operational, but once. They couldn't keep a crew. Most times I had someone come out it was someone new and they would look at the system in confusion, then spend the next few hours on the phone with Enphase. At the beginning, the entire crew quit and we "Fell through the cracks" (their wording) for months. Now they will not even come out to the house to fix the 5 microinverters that have been out for almost a year. They want us to pay for their services. Yet we are still under contract with Enphase for this replacement/labor fee. I will tell everyone YOU ARE NOT TRAPPED. You can change your company, if you use the Enlighten app you can find a contracted electrician locally or through Enphase and use them. Just ask if they are contracted with Enphase if you call around. Just get the new company's email address they have with Enphase so you can input it in the app. You can call Enphase and have them walk you through this your first time. Enphase has been great and answered all my questions and even gave me more info. Even talking with someone from Fast Trac was useless. I spoke on the phone with someone in management, I sent a follow up email. Nothing. I was nice the entire interaction, yes I was upset, but I was not rude for me not to be contacted back. Even gave the option of email in case he didn't want to talk on the phone to me. Dead silence. I have found a contracted electrician locally and have used my Enlighten app to change from Fast Trac to this other company. I suggest you do the same if you are unhappy with your services you paid for. read more

If I could leave a 0 I DEFINITELY would. We installed the pannels sep2021. Payed 200 a month on time & they were never turned on. These people kept saying they would come & finish for a whole year. Throughout that year we payed automatically $2300 untill sep2022 they finally turned on the pannels. We started having problems with them so we call Fastrac & all we get is "we will call back" never received a call back. We call mosaic who funds them & they can't even find our information to proceed with the call. All we want is some customer service to answer our questions & they can't even do the most simplistic thing. read more

I haven't had service on my Solor Panels for over 2 years and it took me to search and find there custom service number that actually has a live person months to fine and when I did they want to charge me for the technical support. They still have NOT fixed my panels customer service is the worst. Since they have already been paid they absolutely don't care to fix the problem. I have never experience anything like this before. It started with a door to door salesman and they were super friendly and the deal sounded really great to have good savings on my electricity. I felt really pressured and I did end up signing up for it because it sounded like a good deal and if I'm being honest I was naïve. When we had to call to hear the automated terms the sales man lowered the volume of his cell phone so I couldn't hear the first part of the message, I should have stopped everything then and there but I was naïve and trusted them. Eventually things moved on and when it came to the install there was so little communication it was really frustrating, we didn't know when things were supposed to be delivered and we had no heads up until people just showed up at our door, expecting us to have a place to hold the supplies until the installers showed up, which we didn't know when they were going to show up. And when we did have a set time for people to show up they were never in the time frame they said (for example they said they would be there between 12 and 3 I had to call to ask where they were and they were and they showed up 2 hours later around 5-6) The install went okay for the panels itself, but we were promised that we would be getting a nest thermostat and LED light bulbs throughout the house but its been 3 months now and I ask them every week or so when we will be getting the thermostat installed and if they do answer they say they are working on getting it installed but I NEVER hear back. My electric bill has only really decreased by like 30 bucks which is really disappointing but I shouldn't have been so naïve and should have backed out in the very beginning.
