OH MY GAWD ! Yall don't even understand how amazing this fried rice was ! I need a delivery service of this weekly to orlando ok. My honey raved about this food truck after coming during a work trip and promised me he'd take me so today it was a must since we drove 2 hours to spend the day in Duvalllll. The shrimp fried rice with mayo on the side = make you wanna slap ya momma it's so good. Flavor is out of this world . It has a little sweetness from the teriyaki sauce mixed with alittle kick. Portion size is incredible for the price. ( 2 meals , 2 drinks and tip =$53) but listen I got 3 servings from it! One entree is shareable for sure . The green apple lemonade , lawwwddd I need it as a drink, mixed with rum, as a slushie or honey dripper too. I know I'll be dreaming about this food truck until my next visit to Jacksonville lol. I called to place an order, the guy who answered said we don't take orders over the phone, either walk in or on website. So I arrived at 655pm, while waiting for another guest in front of me to be helped, I was next up and I got to counter right at 7pm, two black girls said we don't take orders after 7pm even though I was waiting in line, they refused me service. So I went back another day and orgder bulgogi, 20.00 for rice and very little meat is not worth it, even though I was refused first time in, I went back to give them another try and they failed. read more

I recently revisited Fatboy Fried Rice to order Skinny Boy which was a 8.9/10! It was flavorful, well seasoned, and the quantity fairly equated to the price. The staff and cashier were very kind to me as I wanted to ensure cash was able to be accepted (and it was)! Love this place. Found them on a video on Instagram. I was craving Hibachi Rice, Chicken and Shrimp. This was the perfect place. I like the food truck set up with the menu and ordering machine. I put my order in the machine. Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice and added Shrimp. Plus I ordered a Strawberry Kiwi Lemonade to drink. It was a little over 15 minute wait. The Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice and Shrimp was amazing! I even had enough to have some the next morning. The Lemonade was good. Not too sweet. This food truck is giving Gourmet level food. When staying in Jacksonville for work, I noticed this food truck available on Ubereats. Always love food trucks as they tend to have either unique flavors, made with love as a small business, or just having standout dishes. This food truck lived up to that! Ubereats service was both quick and friendly. Loved being able to have fried rice in the comfort of the hotel room, which is the best ambiance for a dining experience in my opinion. I was driving home from the airport and saw this food truck parked in front of a business that was closed. The parking lot was relatively full though, so I figured the truck must be good if all of these people were waiting on a Sunday evening. I glanced at the menu and quickly made a decision to order the bulgogi fried rice since that's a combination that I know I like. They handed me a buzzer when I placed my order. I went back to my car and waited. 25 minutes later, my food was ready. When I picked it up, there was sauce nearly drenching it. I didn't see any description of sauce on the menu on the truck and so I was a little confused. I went back up and they were nice enough to make me one without sauce. It turns out, there is usually mayonnaise and sriracha sauce topping it. They made my food quickly the second time and for that I was grateful. The rice was delicious! Absolutely delicious. It was very nicely seasoned and had grilled onions and herbs. The bulgogi was flavorful and tender. Eating this food without the sauces allowed me to really taste the food and this was so good that it didn't need sauces. I was impressed by the portion size and the quality of this food. The customer service was also great as aside from a couple of reasonable questions, they remade my food without much hassle. The wait time was a bit long for what is expected for a food truck and it would help to have the full menu visible on the truck for first timers especially. Of note, there is a QR code that you can use to get to the website that shows the full menu and descriptions of the food. If I see this truck again, I would definitely try another one of their fried rices. read more

So we saw a Instagram post for Fat Boy Fried Rice and decided to order some. We had chicken, shrimp with fries rice. I wasn't really impressed with it at all. The food was sweet for some reason and I didnt have any type of sauce on it to make it sweet. Secondly the wasn't done. With every scoop there was some crunchy rice. Oh my gawd you guys THIS FRIED RICE IS AMAZING. I've been following these guys on Instagram for a minute and finally had the opportunity to go try them out. You're not going to find more delicious fried rice anywhere. I'd write this entire review in all caps bc I'm feeling so strongly about the food I just ate, but Im going to try and hold it together here. Current location schedule is posted on their IG page (yes this is a food truck). There are no pictures on their food truck menu but I promise you won't go wrong here. We wanted everything so to narrow it down we asked the guy taking the orders what his favorites were and what's the most popular. We ended up getting the Fat Boy Fried Rice with sisig and a fried egg as well as the Pamahaw Fried Rice with a fried egg.... Both with extra sauce on the side. They were so tasty and the meats and sauce was all a perfect compliment of flavors. Loved the crunch of the sisig and the yolky fried egg mixed in. And the sweetness of the spam and Filipino sausage with the savory of the rice. I've got myself a new favorite food truck. Can't wait to go back and try the chicken teriyaki fried rice! read more

I met these guys when they did a Yelp Elite Event for us. I am so glad I discovered this food truck. Ernie and I drove down Beach Blvd to the corner where they are in a parking lot of a business. The guys who own this food truck have it going on. The dish we both ordered was wonderful. The fried rice had a fried egg on top and plenty of their special sauce. I highly recommend this food truck. I fail to remember the name of the dish, but we did enjoy it. I think it's called sisig. read more

I've been here twice. And both times not a great first impression and now second. The first time I went ordered, maybe one other car in the parking lot. I waited over an hour. They said there's a bunch of people who ordered before me and online orders (which I didn't know was an option). Ordered bulgogi fried rice and chicken fried rice. I enjoyed bulgogi, but the chicken was dry. Bulgogi tasted well, not your typical bulgogi but well enough. They had a version of yum/shrimp sauce and this sweet gochujang. It was the sauce that made it. Meet portion was okay. Not a lot. It was more rice than protein but I guess it comes with the name I guess. Fast forward. After learning they have online order. Just know that if you order online. Grubhub charges more than the would in person. An extra $2 per item. Ie. I ordered bulgogi with extra meat. That was an additional $4. On top of the $16 they already charge and $8 for extra meat. I ordered, ran an errand and went to pick up food. It was over an hour by the time I got there. There was one customer parking, another employee outside sitting by his truck, another employee standing outside the truck smoking(?). So it didn't seem busy. I gave my name. He couldn't find it (with an attitude, mind you). Then he said our internet/system was down and we're trying to get caught up with orders and we're behind. That's it's 'going to be a little'. I asked what's a little. He said another 15-30 minutes. Rather than saying we'll move you up, or offer to expedite or offer anything. He did nothing. The only thing he 'offered'..... 'well we can just give you a refund?' I took the money and left. So that's it for me. I have a valiant effort. So yes. The food is decent. But the service, what you read/heard is true. Horrid. Sorry. I'll just spend my hard earned money elsewhere for their price and service. read more

I went to the San Juan Ave location and the first time, I really wasn't impressed but I tried it a second time and got the sauces on the side, it was much better. Went back a third time and it was disgusting. My order took over 30 minutes, then I asked for sauce on the side. They drenched my rice with sauce. The guy offered to remake it, however I didn't have time to wait over 30 more minutes again. The sauce is way too sweet and over powering. Not enough meat to rice ratio. I just found this ok at best. The rice was very sweet. My hubby picked up food for us and I ordered based off of their website and got the 'lemon pork chop' rice. It was pictured with an egg. Unbeknownst to me it was lemon honey and the meat and rice were incredibly sweet, very little veggies in the fried rice (loved the ginger though).
