    So EGGstra BLT
    Jessica T.

    I. Love. Breakfast. Foods. The burrito was basically perfect in my opinion. Nice texture and balanced in flavor. It was huge! the so eggstra BLT was good but just a little too salty for us. The siracha aioli was a really nice touch to both the burrito and egg BLT!! The tots were classically perfect. Crispy perfection. Would definitely try again

    "The chick" sandwich w/ Fries

Got the "the chick" sandwich and im very impressed, the chicken was so big there was so much extra hanging off the sides, also very crispy ! The sriracha aoli / honey combo was so good paired with it. I was expecting a normal chicken sandwich you might get from popeyes or something but this was like that but on steroids. No bad pieces within the whole chicken while eating, kinda reminded me of a pdq honey chicken sandwich if it was actually good! the fries were also cooked well, lightly but perfectly salted in my opinion. i fw it would definitely come back again!

The Fried Egg was a great find in my neighborhood. At first I wasn't sure about eggs for dinner but then I saw the menu and decided to give them a try. I ordered the Brunch Burger with fries. The burger was tender and juicy, not too big but not too small. Just the right size to fill you up but not make you feel like a stuffed pig lol! And the chef cooked the egg to my liking, just a little runny. I prefer runny eggs for breakfast with toast, but didn't want too much yoke making my burger or bun soggy. The burger included 1/4 pound of black angus, Applewood smoked bacon, sharp cheddar, sriracha aioli (loved the kick), lettuce, tomatoes, red onion and of course, a fried egg. All of the ingredients were fresh. And I loved the buttered brioche bun. Nice and soft, just how I like my bread. The service was friendly and pretty fast as no one else was waiting on an order when we arrived. I will look for this truck again!

We have noticed this food truck around the city multiple times. We usually miss our chance to try it out. Tonight they were in our neighborhood and we jumped on the chance to try them out. When we got there the line was a bit long. Luckily for us they have a fast turn over on taking orders and cooking the food. We were through the line and order placed in less than five minutes. We got our order in less than ten minutes after placing it. The food tastes really good. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The bacon was nice and thick. The tots were toastie. If you are at an event and see THE FRIED EGG. You have to try it out. It is never the wrong time for breakfast food.

    The loaded tots with bacon.

I will 100% order from these folks again. I tried the loaded tot bowl with bacon -- it was addictive. The green salsa on top was key to balancing the eggs and bacon underneath, could have even used some more on there. I did notice that some of the tots were incredibly salty - it almost looked like pretzel salt on a few of them toward the bottom. I left the last few in the basket. Better too salty than flavorless, though, in my book, and everything else was perfect.

I-Ville Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries. Coleslaw on the side

I saw that The Fried Egg food truck would be in our neighborhood and after checking out the menu I know I had to check them out. I will say at first I was has hesitant to great dinner from there since it's the Fried Egg. I wasn't really looking for eggs for dinner but then I saw chicken sandwiches and you know what comes from eggs? Fried Chicken of course. Once arrived I ordered the J-Ville Hot Chicken Sandwich which comes with Fries for $14. After about 15 minutes my order was really and I ran home to get started. Once I got into it the J-Ville Hot Chicken Sandwich looked amazing and tasted just as good. I nice large piece of Fried Chicken with Datil Pepper Seasoning and Special Sauce. The Chicken was cooked perfectly and was not in the least bit dry. I will say it was not that hot is a spicy way so just a heads up for those who might be nervous but does have great flavor. Might be top 2 chicken sandwiches in Jax for sure. I was also a big fan of their fries. Well seasoned and very crispy. Ashley got the tots with her sandwich and I will say the fries are much better then the tots so a heads up there too. I will for sure eat at The Fried Egg again.

I was a little incredulous that a former Sailor could run an Asian restaurant with such awesome ramen! Well, now I believe everything I heard. As a former sailor, upon entry I immediately fell in love with the Navy decor, pictures, and even the tables in the dining area had the seals of ships and other commands past and present on the table top art that gave a tremendous nostalgic feel to an old sea warrior like me! OK, I was a Chaps - I gave spiritual support to those warriors. Nevertheless, the ramen bowls here are a work of artistic beauty! I felt like I needed to stare at my meal for an hour before daring to touch it! On this day, we had the Bayou Ramen and the Traditional Ramen. The Bayou Ramen has a real Cajun spicing to it - unmistakable in every way. It has some heat to it, but not heavy - I'd say it was just about right for my taste. The shrimp and sausage in it were perfectly prepped - I could have taken some home but didn't - just couldn't stop eating this! It also included carrots, corn, a seasoned egg, scallions, ramen noodles in chicken bayou broth. If you like ramen of a Cajun variety, you'll love this! The traditional ramen bowl was pretty basic. You could have a choice of broth, but the basic version has little to no heat factor. It comes with roast pork, bok choy, carrots, corn, seasoned eggs, scallions, ramen noodles. I had the leftovers of this ramen bowl the next day and it was outstanding too! In addition, when you come here, you MUST get the fried chicken! It's among the best I've ever tasted. It's definitely bested KFC in my book! Anyone who wants to try a solid ramen restaurant which classic offerings and some creative versions of ramen, must visit Hangar Bay! I will add that the service we received as terrific! For a little while, I felt like I was eating on the mess deck again! I'll surely be back! Recommend: VERY HIGH!

We ordered a couple of appetizers to start. I had the Satay and she had the steamed Gyoza. My Satay was very good and I liked that there were big pieces of peanut in the dipping sauce. She liked her Gyoza a lot and really liked that it wasn't slippery like it can be when it's steamed. I had Beef Pad Thai for my entree and I went with spice level 1. I liked that their version isn't overly sweet like it can be elsewhere. I don't really mind when it's sweet but I also like knowing that there's somewhere I can go when I don't want that. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that spice level 1 was very easy for me to get through. My wife ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice. 90% of why she ordered it was because it's served in a pineapple! She went with spice level 1 as well and said she could easily go to 2 or maybe even 3 in the future. The rice itself was good and she loved the chunks of pineapple all through it. We both had plenty to take with us which will make for a great lunch tomorrow. I'm glad we finally tried this place we've heard so many good things about. We will be back!
