The price has tripled since I started buying it. It's $15 now, which is crazy. The regular standard size birthday cake is expensive and comes with zero decor. You're charged for adding any decor and charged again for writing Happy Birthday. My friend said a standard sheet cake was going to be nearly $70. I know grocery prices have gone up but the price of cane sugar and flour are still reasonable. I have been enjoying their sweet treats for 35 to 40 years but, I can't bring myself to pay that for a kids birthday cake. Or for an adult. And the little 3x4 squares are good, but at that price point..... They have pretty much priced themselves out of a longtime customer. On the plus side, the lady that works the front is always helpful and friendly!

Friendly family staff have been working there for years and are ready to answer any questions you have about ingredients or possible allergies. And who did I see decorating the cookies? Abbey herself. Her husband was helpful too. The first thing you'll notice, though, is the alluring smell pastries; everything is fresh baked every morning.
