Always amazing. I go mainly for the caramel Thai tea but always grab a bacon egg and cheese croissant as well as some donuts for the family. Always delicious and fresh with kind employees. I came across Ray's from a Tiktok review and instantly knew I had to check it out. I saw the maple bacon donuts and knew I had to try it. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived at the shop around noon they were pretty much sold out; besides about 20 or so donuts. I was really sad about it, but this just told me how delicious the donuts must be. I was able to try a glazed and the cashier even gave us a free fritter. They were definitely some of the most soft and butteriest donuts I have ever had. So delicious. Next time I will make sure to come in earlier so I have more options to choose from and to check out the drinks. read more

I went here based on the high reviews. They sell out of donuts pretty early on weekends so it took me a couple of tries before I got there and had a good collection of donuts to choose from. I got a variety from glazed to fruity pebbles and they were all a little bit stale. I like my donuts to be more moist. After one day, they were pretty hard and unappetizing. read more

I came in almost 2pm on a Thursday and they still had about 40% of their donuts maybe less so I didn't get to try every flavor but the woman behind the counter (I think the owner?) Is sooooo nice! This was my first time and I'll definitely be back! I loooooove Ray's Donuts. Lately I've been trying out different locations and I can say for sure that this is in my top three. This location, Tara blvd and Decatur. I love that this location has cute indoor seating. The customer service was wonderful for 5 o'clock in the morning. My tea was alright, it could've been sweeter. The sandwich, which was a bacon, sausage, egg and cheese bagel, WAS GREAT! I also got a chocolate cake donut. It was so perfect. I felt like it melted right in my mouth. I stopped at Ray's Donuts Marietta to check out their donut selection and uh oh I did not like them. I chose 2 original glazed donut, 1 apple fritter and 1 single twist, the cashier threw in a few mini donuts what a kind gesture of her with it being my first visit. The donuts were soft and chewy but they left a foul after taste which didn't sit right with me. I thought maybe it was just one donut but no! it was all of them. Some of the donuts I did wanna try were sold out so, maybe I was given the unlucky batch not really sure. But I really was hoping to make this my go to donut spot unfortunately it will not wasn't a hit for me. No outdoor seating. No napkins at tables. Has convenient parking. The best claws are amazing, apple, blueberry fritters are out of this world, and the regular yeast donuts, there is nothing that compares to them along with your purchase they toss in a few donut holes in your box. Forget the nearby donut chains -- Ray's is the gold standard for donuts in the northwest Atlanta suburbs. I had discovered Ray's in some way online in the spring and decided that's all I wanted for Mother's Day: a donut from Ray's. My angel of a husband woke up bright and early to get there first thing for the best assortment. He came home with a dozen donuts, each one better than the last, and I've been dreaming of returning ever since for another taste of the freshest donuts ever. Logistics are the only con here. Ray's is open from 5am-3pm on Tuesdays-Saturdays and 5am-2pm on Sundays. They will run out of popular items. They have no website. If you need any updates, you'll have to go to Facebook, where I just learned that they're actually closed now for the holidays and won't reopen until 1/3/23. I love that they're taking this time off, but the only way to know about this closure is by checking out their Facebook page, so keep that in mind when planning a Ray's donut run. read more

They do not have vegan options available, but it is a favorite donut for all my colleagues and family - and yes, we test tasted with area shops that are MUCH more expensive. Like many bakeries, it closes around 3 pm so make sure you get there early for the best selection. The glazed donuts are fluffy AF and you'll also find maple donuts all year round (for some reason they are hard to find in the area). The stuffed donuts are a favorite as well, but you likely can't go wrong. The spot is extremely popular, so go early on the weekends for the best selection. read more
