I have been a regular for three years now and have grown to love this location. However last week one of the employees informed me of the ties to the Eglon Community Church. From everything about how Scott Robert's was the pastor and was arrested for inviting 14 year old girls over for a sleepover and then inappropriately touched them. To how Bryan Custer(the owner) was childhood friends with him and agreed and helped the church "pray it away" instead of helping the girls come forward about Roberts. This is still ongoing within this church that when girls want to come forward with similar accusations they are told to pray it away. They also are encouraged to work at Fat Turnip where there have been issues there as well. This obviously disturbed me highly and I won't be returning nor would I encourage anyone else to. My friends and I always use to come here and enjoyed everything about fat turnip farms all seems really good until we learned a much more sinister reason for the business. The owner of the business Bryan Custer is childhood friends with the old pastor of the church he goes to(eglon community church) Scott Roberts this is deeply disturbing as Roberts inappropriately had girls over for sleep overs and then touched them. He said he had plans to do more than that. Custer along with the rest of the church encouraged them to "pray it away" and not to come forward. She says this behavior is widespread and encouraged within the church and they're encouraged to work at fat turnip where the behavior continues. This girl says she stays at fat turnip to further help warn people and by the other reviews lately seems to be doing a great job. I brought my family pumpkin picking last year and I had read how this business is educating young women, and it was evident that all workers were primarily young girls.
