We were beyond thrilled with all aspects of our move, from the initial "Guaranteed Not to Exceed"…read moreestimate (the only company of seven to give us something other than an estimate that could go up significantly), to the final move into our storage unit 4 hours away. Jose, Walter and Joel packed out our 3100 sq foot house in just about five hours, and they couldn't have been friendlier, more professional, or more accommodating while they were doing it. We had a color-coded system in place, and they not only picked up on it immediately, they enthusiastically supported it throughout the evolution. We didn't have many requests, but those we did they responded to happily. They were extremely careful with all our belongings, and they left the house in great shape despite the obvious disruption. The next day, Jose, Joel and Gene (Jean?) came to load our HHG into the truck. They were done in exactly two hours! WAY quicker than we would have guessed. We hit Jose with a last-minute request to allow us to affix inventory numbers to all the boxes, and he happily accommodated the request, altering the order of goods going into the truck to allow us time to finish our inventory. Again, the three gentlemen could not have been more professional as they carried out their responsibilities. Jose made sure we had his number and he reviewed the plans for drop off to our storage unit the following day, so there would be no surprises ... which we REALLY appreciated. The unloading process was flawless too. I was active duty military for 33 years, and this is move number 12 for us ... so we've had some experience with this maneuver. This has been the absolute BEST all-around experience with a moving crew that we've had! And this is the FIRST one I'm actually paying for, so that's saying something!  I told Jose several times this has been about as stress-free a move as is possible. If I needed to move again in this area, I wouldn't even get several quotes - Ray the Mover gets it, hands down!

Yes it was high but we needed a move asap ( and I had no time to call around) While moving my dad he took the pow flag off the wall and didn't honor it correctly my dad a veteran was pissed Also the assisted living place highpoint added his moving bill to my bill from them Ps highpoint sucks for veterans they charged us for $$ for my dads free medication and moved my dad illegally Now back to ray the mover who was recommend by highpoint.. He said he move my dad in cape coral from one assisted living place to another and he then backed out an hour before ( after asking him a week before ) he said yes He showed up 3 hours earlier then he said he would and then left sent me a very confusint message saying " text this guy and Venmo him 350" I was panicked so I did He said I only take checks or cash but btw a week early he never asked me with payment to use -- so red flags for sure!! So I called highpoint and asked them to add the move again to my dads bill they said yes called ray back and he said we left and called me a liar (?) and then told me some other persons to Venmo! She asked all the important questions and provided me with key points of information that would be helpful for the move . She was also able to give me an approximate estimate regarding the timeframe and cost of the move. The day before the move, I was contacted for confirmation. Reed's provided my high-rise condominium with their Certificate Of Insurance . I was contacted by the crew 10 minutes prior to their arrival to let me know that they were on their way. Raz and Calvin arrived promptly at 8 am . They securely wrapped all my furniture and kyak and transported them to our new condo in a timely manner. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism and service. I shared with the crew that growing up in Bronx NY my dad worked for a moving company so I know how hard they work on what can be a tiring and difficult job. He sent out a piano repair technician and repaired the piano to its original form. I am delighted with the final outcome and I would recommend Isaac Reed's company to anyone who has moving needs. Specifically, and due to the completion of a home renovation scheduled for the 1st day of the month (Monday, November 1), scheduled them to return all the items on the next day, Tuesday, November 2. We subsequently received a charge for the entire month of storage for November. When we questioned them why they would charge us for the entire month, the representative from the company indicated that that was their policy. We further questioned why they only charged us for a partial month when they picked up all the items. My assumption was that it would be somehow prorated for the days (less than 48 hours) as opposed to a full month. Rather than explain this discrepancy or difference in practice, they said we should have scheduled differently in advance to avoid the entire month charge. However, and unfortunately, that was not an option given the renovation was completed on the first day of the month and the first business day of the month. I find this practice of business does not represent a family owned and operated company that prides themselves with their business values. Extremely discouraging and somewhat egregious. And especially challenging when you are trying to coordinate with contractor on timing of occupancy, certificate of completion from the county, and the storage company.

The only reason we are not giving the 1-star is due to the fact that at least everything made it here, but not necessarily in one piece. Our issue started with 3 days before our move that was planned 3 months in advance with their staff. We received a call asking us to change our move date when we had made plans all focused around the move date that they gave us. They instead came and picked everything up a day earlier than planned (which we agreed to) and instead stuck it all in a warehouse for several days waiting for a driver. They did not provide any status updates and when we called from the road, they passed the buck off to the driver again. When everything arrived, the movers were unable to get our bed up the stairs (we had specifically asked our Peluso mover staff member if it would fit and he had assured us it would). We had to call another moving company to actually get our bed where we wanted it. We have asked Peluso for some kind of restitution for this additional cost and they have ignored us. Boxes that we asked if they were packed properly arrived mangled and some items were damaged. Again, no restitution. If you are moving to/from Naples, FL, we recommend you go with anyone but Peluso Movers. I am removing a star for the response by the owner of Peluso Movers. They refuse to take responsibility for throwing our "packed by owner" boxes (nothing was broken inside of them so clearly they were packed properly) being thrown around given that the pictures speak for themselves. They are not taken any responsibility for the bed issue and requests for discussion with their staff have gone unanswered. Wow... this unfortunate response is the cherry on the top of this mess

Wish I had read the Yelp reviews first…read more.. I hired them for a one-bedroom apartment move, and they provided an estimate of $580.50 for 2.5 hours of labor. In reality, the job took twice as long, and I was charged $1,100.25--double the estimate! When I questioned the overcharge, Troy (the owner) explained that they typically recommend three movers for this type of move but only sent two. He claimed that even with a third mover (at a higher hourly rate), the total cost would have been "about the same" because a third person would only save 20 minutes--which makes zero sense. If three movers were recommended, why send only two? And how does an extra mover only save 20 minutes? This company lowballs estimates to get your business, then charges you double. If you want honest, transparent pricing, look elsewhere. Avoid Price Moving at all costs.
