My go to spot for Chinese food now! I ordered in as the wind was winding outside and I was in no mood to battle with it...I ordered some of my usual, chicken and broccoli with shrimp fried rice, sesame chicken, and chicken with vegetables. Everything was on point, however, you guys put scallions in my rice and I specifically asked for it not to be included. Other than that, everything was good...The shrimp fried rice had so much shrimp I couldn't believe it! First time ordering it on the side... I really can't complain, everything was so tasty! Just please, next time, when I ask for my order to be done a certain way, please follow the instructions. I am such a picky eater and details matter to me, I had to take most, if not all of the scallions out of my rice... 10/10, would still recommend! Good Eats read more

WHERE'S THE BEEF? We ordered take out last night. As usual, the food was good. We have been going to Fatima's for a while. The portions were always generous and a great value. Unfortunately the dishes now have less meat than before. The chicken dumplings had very little filling and the Szechuan beef was mostly onions and peppers with less beef than before. It's still a great place for halal Chinese and I wish they would return to the prior meat portions. I understand ingredients are more expensive now and I would be willing to pay more. read more

Fatima's used to be located in LIC & relocated to Jamaica, which is luckily more convenient for me. I've had their food for years & the quality has consistently been great. The lo mein is a bit too oily so if you ask for less oil & extra meat it's perfect then IMHO. All in all, enjoy! read more

Not comparable to the OG "No Pork halal Chinese", but it does the job. We order from here frequently for our family weekends when nephews and nieces come over and there's a group to feed. The sautéed chicken and beef dishes are good. Some of our favorites are chicken with eggplant and beef chilli. The breaded chicken dishes should be avoided because they have a hardened/inedible taste (general tso's, sesame chicken). Definitely a good option when halal Chinese is in need. read more

Yup, it's been a solid two years and I only buy from here! Literally anything on the menu is a hit. I absolutely love it. I will say I think it is cash only. They give sauces, utensils, AND FORTUNE COOKIES if you would believe it or not. Definitely miss that aspect, and am appreciative that they are keeping it alive and well. They operate entirely as takeout now but they do have tables where you can sit and eat once you receive your order. I think this is a much better model for them and typical like with other American Chinese spots. I'm happy to say the flavors hit just like they used to! The portion was solid for the price paid (especially the Lunch Specials) and everything tasted fresh and clean. Terrible place. Please stay away. The food was nasty. I ordered here last night and I don't live in the area. I ordered garlic shrimp and veg with fried rice and chicken lo mein. They kept on calling me stating the food is ready which then I went and they only take cash. They asked for my phone number so they can give me the order. When I get home I realize they gave me the wrong order. So I tried their chicken and broccoli which was terrible no taste at all. And I was so furious that they messed up my order and they couldn't do nothing about. Come on simple thing in the world get the order right it's not like ya had 20 orders stacked up. I picked up this food and drive home as fast as I could as I was starving, I ordered chicken lo mein and chicken and broccoli with white rice all was absolutely delicious and fresh. So this place got a serious renovation and loved the new modern aesthetic. I ordered to go and I think this is going to be my #1 Chinese food spot in this area. So fresh, delish and filling. I got the beef in garlic sauce which comes spicy so if you don't want spicy, let them know because the spicy will leave a slight burning sensation on your lips for like 15 min after eating. I specifically asked for more veggie than beef so I appreciated them fulfilling my odd custom request. I devoured the egg roll which was mainly cabbage. Soooo yum and can't wait to order ahead - need to try their lo mein asap. Lunch special deals are definitely worth it if you can catch it . Fatima's Halal Kitchen is like the ubiquitous Americanized Chinese take out places, but uses halal meat and you are actually served by a waitress. The food here is quite good and the portions are enough for two meals. I had the general tao's chicken, which was tasty. My friend had the halal beef and chicken with broccoli. The beef was good, but the shrimp did not taste fresh. Stick with the beef and brocolli instead of ordering seafood. There is one restroom but be aware that there may not be any toilet paper. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant of all time. Don't be fooled by simple small location, which is more then made up by food. Love the beef satay, triple crown (chicken, beef, + shrimp), fried rice and so much more. My whole family loves there food. There aren't many good halal chinese restaurant. Been here a couple of times and have been to catered events by them -- it's always delicious. The Kung Pao Chicken is flavorful and fresh, a little spicy but super filling. I've been getting food from this place for 9 years. I love all their shrimp/beef/chicken with broccoli/chinese veggies. I also love the beef teriyaki on the stick. The fried rice and noodles are good too, although the noodles are way too oily. However, the last time I went, I was pretty disappointed. The beef dumplings were bland imo. I just tasted beef, no spices, no garlic or onion either. I also got the sizzling scallop with beef which came with a sweet sauce which I hated(the sauce). The scallops didn't taste that great either. My sister got the sesame chicken which again came with a sauce that was way too sweet. I don't understand the obsession with sweet sauces. I fail to understand why people make meat sweet. Sweet flavors should only be in dessert imo. I also don't like the egg drop soup. Its just too bland. I also dislike all their sweet & sour dishes as its just sweet, nowhere near sour. I fail to understand the misnaming. read more

Long wait, but worth it! Heard so much about this Chinese Halal Spot that we had to check it out. Here's what we ordered and my review based on the times: - Kung Pao Chicken - I loved it!! Really delicious and I would definitely recommend getting this. Only negative point is that it lacked having the whole red chili peppers and this is supposed to be one of the main things in Kung Pao Chicken. But overall, it's addicting! - Shrimp Fried Rice - compared to other Chinese fast food spots, their fried rice is definitely a winner. Rice is cooked perfectly, good amounts of shrimp and flavorful! - Hot Wings - I wouldn't recommend this item. It was soggy and loaded with sauce. - Garlic Beef - my husband loved this dish, a bit sweet so not my favorite. Overall, I'd highly recommend checking out Fatima's.
