Food was great! We had the chicken Shawarma wrap and the gyro wrap. Wanted to try their chicken Tikka but they were out.

Wanted some falafel and baba ghanoush while I was working in Lincoln today. Found ample parking behind the restaurant. Promptly greeted with a genuine smile and asked how I could be helped. Ordered at the counter and was told to have a seat and I could pay afterwards. Grabbed myself a water bottle from their beverage cooler. I ordered the falafel sandwich and it came with a creamy garlic sauce which was 10/10. Falafel was crispy and fresh as were the veggies and wrap. Baba ghanoush was also 10/10 and came with fresh bread and a couple green olives. Restaurant was clean and bright. I assumed I would pay for the bottled water, but they told me no and same when I asked for an additional piece of bread as I had lots of baba ghanoush left to take home. I'll be back. read more

This may seem crazy to say, but this is the best restaurant in Lincoln. If people were to come from out of town, this is the first place I would recommend. I have tried the entire menu and have never been let down. Even their fried chicken wings were delicious. My go-to is the beef shawarma special sandwich, but their beef kabab, chicken shawarma, and falafel are all top tier. Ordering some baba ganoush as an appetizer is highly recommended as well. The man that works the front on most days is always friendly and hospitable. My only caveat to visiting fattoush is that on some days it can get extremely busy and it can push wait times and they may run out of certain items. Most of the time, however, the wait times are not bad, and if you call ahead they give accurate wait times. read more

Have had great food here in the past. This time the guy at the front counter was super aggressive. He kept asking questions over me when I asked questions and wouldn't give an answer to anything I asked. Then when I tried to answer his constant questions he kept interrupting me and barking out meat options. I feel bad for anyone who has to interact with him...his communication skills are crap and he clearly doesn't want to know what his customer needs. AND THEN! I saw him wetting his head in the hand sink in the kitchen, smooth out his hair with his hands, put his (extremely) dirty ball cap back on, turned off the faucet with his bare hand and make food. We were actually sent here by a relative's physical therapist, who raved about the food. It's also super accessible - there is flat pavement from the front door all the way to the curb, and YES, it is a (6-spot) parking lot. I will probably still park in the back when not traveling with someone in a wheelchair, but if your mobility is limited, getting in and out is a dream (they even lifted the wheelchair into the trunk when we left - I was almost embarrassed). One of the stars is just for this accessibility The therapist actually raved about the food, which is very good. There are more choices than I'm used to at a Mediterranean restaurant, including four kinds of soup (okra, bean, eggplant, and lentil), all vegetarian. The okra was lovely and the eggplant also good (I'm not usually a big fan of either vegetable). We got a Lebanese lemon/mint soda, our soup, the dolma plate and the falafel plate (all vegetarian). The falafel plate comes with a generous amount of pita bread, in addition to pickled turnips and a delightful whipped garlic sauce. While I found the falafel balls a little bland, my companion raved about them, and is planning on recommending the place to her Peace Corps group, as well as our elderly parents. Ambiance is basic (booths covered with Chinese characters, for some reason - easy to get into from a wheelchair) with one storefront of seating and additional booths in the storefront where you order. Service was quick and couldn't be friendlier. Vegetarians who like to plan ahead: the website carefully calls out all the veg options, of which there are several. read more

We asked to get beef and chicken kebabs and got that with bread. The beef kebabs were definitely my favorite, so juicy, seasoned and flavorful. Hummus was also good! Wow I am completely impressed and I do not give out five-star ratings unless things are perfect from start to finish. Not only was the service very friendly and genuine the food was spectacular on every level. Having been my first visit I tried the combo too to get a sampling of many of their offerings. The kebabs were flavorful juicy and cooked to perfection, the rice was flavorful and very fresh, the falafel was just out of this world, the shawarma was on point, honestly they nailed everything. Admittedly if you order late in the day they very well may be out of certain things but this in itself is a very good indication. They're busy enough to sell out everyday and most likely aren't reusing anything from the day prior. The freshness of every single item would testify to that. There were some items on the menu they didn't have, but the man who helped us out told us the 15 or so items they had left and I got the beef shawarma. For 15 bucks the serving size was spectacular, the plate was completely filled with rice, beef, (extra!) sauce and salad. There was a tortilla on the side with more sauce and hummus in little cups.
