This may be your last chance. Yep, your very last chance to grab that traditional French sandwich served on a delicious crusty baguette. Or how about a macaron that kicks anything outside the border of France ass? A hot chocolate so decadent that you will want a second cup. Or, you can get on your plane and suffer through that coach meal which may or may not contain an edible ingredient. If you find yourself near the American Airlines departure gates, seek this place out. It will not disappoint.

Reading the other reviews made me wary. So it's a little pricy? It's an airport restaurant no more pricy than any other airport restaurant I've been to at many places. Our service was prompt and everything was correct. The waitress was covering the whole place herself so she did not come back to us until prompted. I had eggs and smoked salmon, a croissant and tomato juice. Everything was good, not amazing but good. A/C works better than in the airport so that made my wife and I both happy to be able to cool off. I wanted pear nectar but they were out even though it was on the menu. Otherwise no issues. We had a window view of mostly gravel and the tails of the jets. I have a hearing problem and only hear out of one ear while the other is sensitive to loud sounds and echoes or reflections. The room is all hard surfaces and every voice, laugh and conversation in the room was amplified and annoyingly loud. But it may not bother most people.

Inside Charles Du Gaulle airport this restaurant I have to say is pretty swanky, having an early flight back to the US, this restaurant was a welcome sight to load up for another long trip, Located on the second level of the departure terminal this hard to miss bright pink restaurant serves some of the regular French breakfast but they also have the ever so filling omelettes that we are so accustomed to. Being it was my last day if France, I opted for the Parisian breakfast. Generous amount of french baguette was served, a giant buttery croissant, a cup of granola, delicious yogurt and their yummy assortment of jams in a jar, aside from coffee (with cream and sugar cubes on the side), I was also served a glass of freshly squeezed oj and a couple individually wrapped chocolates which I just stuffed in my satchel - a sweet treat for my long flight back home. The service was great (very french) and presentation was on point. I left the restaurant full and ready for my flight home. I like this place but definitely a little bit pricey but heck, talk about squeezing in my French immersion to the last minute - definitely worth it!

This was a no brainer. We found ourselves at the airport looking for a real meal and being the only real restaurant and with a name which screamsoverrated and expensive. You might find yourself surprised that it's actually quite good. The price of the juices was above what I would pay but everything else was fair. Pricey but fair. For those, like me, who might frequent here for the first time. The airport has a no knife over a certain length policy so the restaurant provides only a butter knife and serves everything in a manner than can easily be eaten with out the need for a sharp knife. My chicken my sliced inside my burger. The flavours where good with everyone at the table very happy with their food. The service was delightful, although I fear some might not like whom we had. The French are an odd character but having had a pleasant meal the waitress really took care of us and even had the time to exchange pleasantries seeing as we came in for an early lunch. As a desert we share a mille feulle and it was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend.

The only full service restaurant in the terminal? We knew it would be overpriced, and it was. Otherwise, it was fine. Good food, nice desserts and coffee. We ordered brunch, and we managed to kill two hours waiting for our flight at CDG, which was our goal. It's a good thing we were not in a hurry. This is not a quick spot, nor is the service attentive. The pink decor was a bit much.

The name Fauchon is well known in Paris for gourmet finds. This airport location is not necessarily the best representation but it's a nice quiet spot for a better than your average airport meal. The service is relaxed...no rushing, but if you have the time it's worth it to sit down and enjoy a hot breakfast before your flight out of Paris.

The staff suck!!! They were arguing and yelling in the middle of the restaurant for about ten minutes straight. Me and my aunt were the only two people in the entire place eating and they sat us at a crappy table right next to the kitchen door. The Gourmet Coffee was presented well and the macaroons were phenomenal, but the coffee was the size of a shot glass. They wouldn't take credit cards as a form of payment. Only cash. Terrible experience!!!

It's broken down into 3 price tiers depending on the level of dessert you want. I went with the ultimate, which is their most expensive, and got their Secret Agent chicken hamburger with the fruits rouge cheesecake, and then just the Greenwich bagel sandwich on its own. I didn't really want to order a hamburger, but walking around the food court, most places were too expensive (Indian place next door was only a la carte for dinner) or had rude staff/no English menu (Thai place), so we settled on Factory & Co., which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The Secret Agent burger was flavorful and the chicken was juicy, but the crinkle-cut fries, however, were dry, cold and needed heavy saucing (ketchup, not mayo). Their fries reminded me of Shake Shack. And for the bagel sandwich, their bagel "bread" was crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. I'd say it was on par with NY bagels--definitely better than most bagels in L.A. Didn't realize this until after we ordered, but we could've ordered their sesame bagel intead of the original, but alas, the language barrier. The Greenwich was a delightful veggie sandwich with hummus as the spread and eggplant as the main filler, and tons of pine nuts. Now, for their cheesecake. I'll say this: I grew up with Cheesecake Factory basically in my backyard, but I really don't like cheesecake all that much (or should I say American cheesecake now). Perhaps it was the jet lag taking hold of my senses or the enticing fresh red currants (that we rarely ever see in L.A.) on top that called out to me, but I splurged to get the fruits rouge cheesecake. which is basically fresh fruit (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and red currants) on top of regular cheesecake. Admittedly, it was a little pricey, about €17 total for the meal with just water and another €5 for the standalone bagel sandwich. Ended up taking the cheesecake back to the hotel. So good! Not sweet and had a nice creamy but dense texture to it. The crust was also nice and crumbly. The fresh fruit was also sweet enough. In the end, the cheesecake is definitely worth a try, and I'd recommend their bagel sandwiches.

The croissants were flaky and delicious. Then we ordered breakfast, omelets with bacon and cheese. These were wonderfully cooked, not too dry or runny. The bacon was a little undone for my taste ( I prefer crisp) but perfect for my companion's. Nonetheless, it was all delicious and we ate it all. The service was excellent, although we had to wait overlong for the bill. I had to seek out the server. Still as our flight wait was six hours, that was no problem. The seats at the restaurant were far more comfortable than the seating at the gate. I recommend heartily for breakfast.

(The risotto being the "side order" specialty of the house). I don't think I have ever had salmon so perfectly cooked. Overall this is an expensive option, yes, but you get what you pay for in this regard. I have never had a more satisfying airport meal. I added 3 euro more because I am easily badgered into giving away my money :) but that awkward exchange and the blah bread were the only downsids to the meal.

It was worth every penny to have had such a fine meal. The salmon was flaky and cooked a perfect medium, I liked the balance of sweetness in the teriyaki. I'm a sucker for some pomme de terres and their mashed potatoes were so so rich and creamy. I left very satisfied.

Long Review: I was so thrilled to find a nice restaurant to sit down and have lunch during a 4.5 hour layover at CDG. They were very accommodating and obviously reservations are not available cause...really? It's a pretty nice size restaurant with a view of the planes and white napkin table service. I'd never been to a Guy Martin restaurant so was excited to try it. They have a varied lunch menu so you can pretty much get what you want. I decided to splurge and start with sweet potato soup and get the lamb shoulder meal. And by splurge that means it was 14 euros for the soup and 36 euros for the lamb. In the States that would have been at least a $90 meal! The cooked veggies that came with the meal were great, but the lamb was undercooked for my taste. Mind you, I'm a medium-well gal so I had to suck it up and eat it as prepared. Partly because I didn't want to send it back since I didn't ask how it was prepared, and partly because I didn't want to offend them. But...wouldn't get that again. Plus it was a HUGE portion and I couldn't finish it all. I also ordered a glass of French Pinot Noir. It was not to my liking at all. Maybe I'm used to California Pinots, but that was the worst glass of Pinot I've had. The wait staff was very unfairly with the wine list and what paired with what...but hey it's the airport. I don't expect a sommelier to help us. Again, send it back. Didn't want to offend. So 4 stars for the location, ambiance and minus 1 for the food experience. However, I'd still go back next time I land in Gay Paris!
