Upon entering, we briefly met two employees - the employee we were to meet with was finishing something, and the other stood in the hall and talked about how he had just returned from a burial and was happy to have escaped the rain. We were not directed to any seating, but had to stand and listen to a burial story. We found our in person and phone interactions to be insensitive and unprofessional. A fact we didn't learn until after his passing. We chose Watson Funeral Home on 109th in Superior for his services. An agreement was made that if we paid in full by December 4th, we would have his remains (we had to choose cremation) and 100 obituaries ready to be picked on the December 6th, as we were having an intimate memorial service for him on December 8th. We paid in full on December 3rd. When we called on the 6th to pick up his remains and obituaries, we were told that neither would be ready until December 10th, without remorse or apologies. Our family was forced to have a Memorial without our Father's remains. The added stress this added to an already stressful situation can not be put into words. Hoping you all can help us shed some light on this tragedy and Watson makes it right some way.
