I have given this weeks for Faulkner to fairly handle their terrible service. I have called and left several message for Todd Kuhn and also Nick and Laura at the Collision Center. In short, the team has not addressed my concerns and has been fully unresponsive. It is no wonder Progressive Insurance will not contract with them as a preferred business, which is what the collision center told me they were when I dropped off my car. The short version of my experience is that the communication was horrible and the service itself was sloppy. The complete ignorance of the fact that my car was "finished and ready for pick up" per their standards was ridiculous and sat on the lot for at least one week without anyone even telling me the car was complete and ready for pick up. One week---that means that my kids and I had to pay additional rental car expense because no one had the decency to even call and tell me that the car was done. I asked for the out-of-pocket expense to be covered for the 3 extra weeks that I had to pay beyond my insurance coverage because of the poor service. Instead of doing the right thing by a Faulkner customer of at least 30 years across multiple Faulkner dealerships and service departments----Nick, the collision center manager, said he'd pay for just 5 of the rental days, and that was after Enterprise and Progressive kept calling Nick. This doesn't even cover the week that it sat on the lot for no reason. In fact, it would still be sitting on the lot if I didn't call myself and check in on the status of the repairs. I called and left messages for Nick and even stopped in person to see him. No response. I have left 3 messages for Todd now and no response. Today, I also sent Todd an email. In terms of the work itself---I specifically and very clearly asked if the car was test driven when I picked it up. Laura told me that it was---in fact, the whole way to Camp Hill and back. Yet, when I drive it not even two miles down Paxton Street to Faulkner Nissan for the car's inspection (because it was with the collision center for sooooo long that the inspection ran out two months later) the car overheats. Now, for those who know the geographic area, at best, Faulkner Nissan is maybe two miles away from the collision center behind Hyundai and down to Nissan. Then once it got to Nissan---it had to be towed back to the Collision Center. And what a surprise--no one---NO ONE--had the decency to stay in touch and update me from the Collision Center on what was going on. The car was towed from Nissan up to the Collision Center and back----and no one called me. This part of the experience is on top of the broken part, plus the way the car looked after they "cleaned" it out to be ready for me, plus the overall poor communication, etc. And now Faulkner doesn't even want to make this right and cover my out-of-pocket expenses? Seriously? For perspective, I asked for a few hundred dollars to be covered. Because of this poor service, it has also impacted my work as well. Such pathetic handling of this service at several steps in the process. I'm so disappointed in you Faulkner. DO NOT GO HERE! RUN--DON'T WALK. read more
