Hess Garage had gotten my car in the second I was having issues and repaired the problem within two hours. Very pleased.

This place will do repairs without prior authorization by you, leaving you with a hefty bill you never knew about.

Worst auto service I ever experienced! Never again! My experience with Dove's Auto Repair was…read moreincredibly incompetent mechanics. For my November 2024 inspection, Dove's Auto Repair installed an invalid inspection sticker - expiration dated November 2026! It was installed right next to the Emissions sticker on the same windshield which has a November 2025 expiration date. Wow! Couldn't the Dove's Auto Repair mechanic see that? They also mounted a tire incorrectly (backwards) while losing a lug nut - replacing it with an impromptu and incorrectly sized lug nut, while breaking my windshield washer reservoir trying to replace a crankshaft sensor. They admitted to breaking the windshield reservoir after charging me to fix the problem they created. They also charged me for services they did not provide. These crazy jerks lied to me and told me I needed a whole new exhaust system in order to pass my 2025 inspection. They screwed everything up and I had to have another service garage correct all of their problems. Total waste of money with these a-holes! All of this was totally avoidable had they behaved in a professional manner. Fred Kerstetter exhibits the worst business acumen I've ever seen and it is totally embarrassing (ignorant ole Freddy boy doesn't even know what the word "acumen" means)! He's a total lying prick. Jesse is worse than Freddy boy. You can't trust these guys! The best thing that came out of this was that I found competent and truly qualified ASE certified mechanics to replace ever having to come back to this trainwreck of a disaster known as Dove's Auto Repair.

Took our 2015 Ford F150 to this shop in Dec 2023 to have ABS modular replaced and inspections done…read more Shop ordered the wrong part and prolonged fixing it for an additional month and cost increased $1000. Then when the part was finally installed, and they took it on a test drive to reset the computer, a radiator hose blew off and according to them had to tow it back to the shop on a Friday. He also blamed us for this hose popping off. Mind you, we hadnt had the vehicle in almost 2 months and was operating fine when we dropped it off. Monday morning went into the shop to find out if any damage had been done to the engine the lead technician "Jesse" was incredibly rude. He actually turned away and stopped talking to me when I was inquiring about my truck. Got a call in the afternoon the truck was done with NO details. When I went into to pick it up, the cost went from 2200.00 to over 3600.00 and was told they had to "drive it around for hours to reset the computer" and that is was a major inconvenience. However, taking my money was not an inconvenience. Once I got the truck home, there was NO radiator fluid anywhere under the hood to indicate a hose popped off. Was charged for tow, radiator fluid, and hours of "inconvenience" apparently. There tech also stated he would not inspect it over a worn seat (next year) but stated they dont check hoses and belts if they dont touch it. In less than 6 months we have spent almost $6000.00 at this shop for work between two vehicles. We will NEVER return to the shop and will never spend another dime here. The lead tech "Jesse" was absolutely rude when we asked questions and he responded with either raising his voice or not talking to us at all. Worse customer service I have experienced in this area in a long time. At least if you're going to charge an insane amount, have some compassion and empathy and answer your customers questions.

With my nonexistent mechanical…read morebackground (thank you, Google and YouTube), I diagnosed the issue as bad wheel sensors, which would have cost me around $500 to replace. Before I could even start, the clutch went out. Using my "expert investigative skills," I assumed it was the master or slave cylinder. After a sleepless night trying to figure it out, I decided it was time to leave the repairs to an expert. My son's wrestling coach recommended Wiltech, which is only about 15 minutes from my house. I called a few other shops first, but they all said they couldn't even look at the Jeep for 4-5 days. Wiltech, however, told me to tow it in the same day. I wasn't expecting them to get to it immediately, but later that Monday they called to let me know that both of my diagnoses were wrong (heartbreaking, LOL). They also told me they could have it done by midweek, or at the latest by the end of the week. By Friday, everything was completed and ready to go. The customer service was excellent, the price was more than fair, they kept me informed, and they finished the repairs exactly when they said they would. Moving forward, I'll be taking all of my vehicles to Wiltech Automotive. Thank you for the outstanding service!
