Placed was packed but we found 2 seats at the bar. Bartender said August was his favorite month - he was friendly and attentive. Beers were cold, salad was crisp and fresh and the pizza was delicious. It definitely is a local favorite - expected to hear "Norm" yelled from the crowd as patrons walked in. I had the Fish and Chips... it was OK. My wife had fried shrimp and it was absolutely inedible. I don't know why anybody would serve that. It was so well done it was like eating cardboard.. We have had a pizza in the past and it was pretty good. It's just one of those places where you have to watch out for what you order. I can't believe this is actually the first time I have been here, not much to look at from the outside, but everyone kept telling me I needed to go there for lunch or dinner so I finally did! We decided to go out to eat & were planning on going somewhere else, but Bruce said, let's try New Faull Inn. We've lived nearby for 4 years, but never gone in. Several of our neighbors like it, so we stopped in. Sure glad we did! We sat at the bar & were served by friendly, kind Tanya. All the staff is friendly and somewhat sassy at this down to earth local hangout. Our neighbors like the pizza and we saw several others enjoying it, but we didn't try it this time. Bruce tried the cheesesteak & really liked it. He said, "the meat was just pouring out of the bun." Here's what we had: Cheesesteak - 5* Reuben calzone - 4.5* Chili - 4* Fries - 4* Everything is homemade or minimally processed. New Faull Inn is a comfy, down to earth neighborhood place with tasty comfort food. We saw several people getting takeout, pizza & more. I just was here with my mom for lunch-and it was awesome! When you enter in-find yourself a table and a server will come over. There is no sign indicating this- "Seat yourself " so this results in a bunch of people by the door asking each other-"What is goin on here?" And "Will someone come and give us a table?" Good food good service. It's on my regular list. They have good pizza there and friendly staff.

When it comes to pizza, my wife and I can be kind of picky. We like a thin crust and plenty of quality toppings. Stopped here with friends and had to wait only a couple of minutes for a booth, super cold Busch Light for us and a really great server to wait on us. The pizza was spot on to our likes, ordered a large as I wanted some to take home and this was perfect, we could only eat half of the pie at the booth. Definitely on our return to eat again list. read more

We've had the pizza a few times now. First time we ate inside and for some reason that seems like the best pizza we've had. The next couple of times was carry-out, and the pizzas didn't seem as well covered in toppings. When we ate inside it was cold, but that's not always a bad thing in Florida. They have always been busy when we've been there to dine or for take-out. Sometimes maybe the staff seems a little short in their communication, but they are busy. We had literally just arrived in Florida for a vacation nearby and were starved. We decided to go for pizza, and this is where we ended up. We had a short wait, as they were only seating every other booth, etc. to keep everyone socially distant. We got the garlic "knots" - these are more like small round balls of pizza dough (about the size of a doughnut hole or pretzel nugget - very irregularly sized) baked into deliciousness and then coated in garlic butter. Super hot, but worth the burned mouth as we scarfed them down. The pizza was excellent and huge! We had several pieces left over which made great lunches that week. My boyfriend had the fish fry and you got tons of fish! We loved it and would go again if in the area. read more

I was excited to find out that they had gluten-free pizza options that weren't on the menus online. They had a gluten free crust and a cauliflower crust. I ordered the cauliflower crust pizza and it was delicious! I heard the regular pizza was really good too! I knocked off a star because even picking up the pizza felt incredibly unsafe during COVID. It was packed without any distancing and none of the customers were wearing a mask. The bar was literally people sitting shoulder to shoulder - and they were all over 60! The food was pretty mediocre nothing crazy good but also nothing bad! pizza reminded me a bit of chucky cheese pizza and it definitely could've used a bit more sauce but it wasnt bad at all. sandwich was good nothing to complain about there, other than it could've been a bit warmer. french fries werent my favorite though, they kinda tasted like "Miss Vickeys sea salt chips" and I had to add a little salt but some people like that taste just not my cup of tea. Service wise, the service was not the greatest had to call over the waiter a few times in order to get drinks but the service at the bar was a lot quicker. If you want a quick stop by I would recommend going into the bar or ordering online. read more

Ten years ago I used to eat here almost every Friday night with a group of friends...personal pizzas with my favorite toppings: sausage, spinach, green olives, bacon and anchovies. YUM!!! Moved away then, only to recently move back to (Sarasota) Florida. Drove down to Englewood just to see if it still existed. Thrilled to see it was still there, but damn, it was closed for the day (Tuesday). Came back again the following Wednesday and ordered my favorite. It was a long time coming, but well woth the wait. It tasted exactly the same as it always had!!! I know each of us has his/her own opinion of the world's best pizza, I am not going to try to convince you that this is. I just know that I like my pizza piled high, with a crust that's not too thin or hard with a wonderful flavor. I'm a big eater and I'm stuffed at meal's end. Ambiance: it's a pizza place. One and DONE.. Typical bar food. It definitely a local bar and the patrons must be blind to their surrounding atmosphere. Nothing special at all about this place. If you like your clothes smelling like you're the fry cook then it's is your place. Staff was inattentive, our waitress must have left for the day because she just never came back after she delivered our not so appealing food and we had to flag another server to bring us our check. We knew we should have bailed when we walked in and the place smelled like a dirty dish rag..... I'm only keeping it real here, it probably wouldn't have been so bad if the outside seating was open so we couldn't see and smelled the place.
