The communications with this company already seemed a bit sketchy from the get-go, with messages that someone's vehicle broke down and that they needed to send another person out. Granted, it was late at night and this was the only company that would be able to fix my garage door that night, so I went with it. I was suckered into purchasing "upgraded" spring and cable components, paying nearly $2000 (at which price I probably could have just purchased a new garage door). I requested for them to give me a written warranty, and they never did, only an invoice with a company that didn't even seem at all garage-related (is this company a complete sham?). Despite this, I figured maybe the work they did was OK -- initially, the garage door seemed to work fine. Over the ensuing months, however, I heard persistent squeaking despite lubricating all moving components every 1-2 months. Then suddenly, one of the cables came loose, just nine months after it had supposedly been replaced, causing my garage door to become unbalanced and unable to close. I had considered contacting them, but I really didn't trust them to correctly repair the mistakes they made. I went with another company that seemed significantly more legitimate who noted that the cables seemed "old" and they showed me all the fraying, likely indicating that the "new" cables that Space Garage Door placed were either not so new or they wore down extremely quickly by the shoddy job they did. The other company was able to replace the springs and cable for under $1000. Overall, I STRONGLY DO NOT recommend using this company. Who knows if "Space Garage Door Repair" or their owner(s) is/are operating different scam operations under different names. Their website looks polished with all sorts of listed legitimate accolades from Google, BBB, etc, none of which I was able to independently verify. I also do not plan on sending future project requests via Yelp to all companies that Yelp suggests -- scams like this really have put me on heightened alert, and I will be thoroughly vetting companies before even requesting them to come out for a quote

Professionalism: the lady they have working in their office could probably do with some customer service etiquette training. Communication: my mom had to get in touch with the lady in their office several times in order to get a quote with part numbers and weirdly the numbers on the verbal and email estimates kept changing, leading us to believe they're not really charging based on anything written down. I think it's super unprofessional to not follow up with an invoice or estimate rendered but that's our fault for chasing them down, we should have just left it alone.
