Once it became clear that I was asking them to fix a job they had already received money for, they became difficult to reach, repeatedly dropping my calls and not returning my messages for days. They refused to compensate me for the city's fine, refused to re-do the electrical work without charging again, and charged me again to pull the permit. They're never getting another cent of my business.

We we're VERY unhappy with the horrible service we got from B&D electric! We called them because 1…read morebedroom had lost most of its power. 2 supposed electricians came out and while checking to see if it was just a chain reaction caused by a bad socket, they were offered an adjoining bedroom socket to also check 3 times, but refused to check it. They said we'd instead need to rewire the whole bedroom where by they hoped they would then locate the problem on a second visit. They came back days later and after putting a small hole in the wall they decided to check that adjoining bedroom socket and lo and behold it had a loose wire and was the minor issue to totally fix the prob. They charged $500 for a 10 min prob which as electricians they should have thoroughly knew to check the first time! I totally question their knowledge in this field due to this. Also, they left a big mess, didn't wear boot gloves to prevent tracking mud in, and the totally worst part is that when 1 of them had the bed pulled out to check a socket behind it, the other guy laid his sweaty body across the top of our bed to watch! There is no way ever I'd recommend this company, even to my worst enemy, aye!

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! I had a dedicated outlet for my sump pump installed by them at the end of…read morelast year. Because my house is a rental, I had to have the work permitted by the City of Lansing. When the City electrician came to inspect their work, they found multiple violations, including that the outlet was not dedicated, but instead connected to the same breaker as my fridge. The City electrician explained to me that if we had a bad storm and my sump pump got overloaded and killed the breaker, not only would my basement take on water but my fridge would go out and my food would go bad. National Electric NEVER told me they hooked my outlet up to the same breaker as my fridge; I paid them for a dedicated outlet I never received. The City electrician sent them the violations and told me they should reach out to me to correct them. Instead, I've been calling and emailing them for months and they conveniently say they will call me back or don't answer. They have never corrected the issues. Don't trust that the work they've said they've done is actually the work they've done.
