I had planned almost every detail of the wedding and knew exactly how I envisioned my big day but the problem was I could not oversee the coordination of all the vendors/individuals in the execution of my plans. However, Wendy seemed to take over flawlessly and made sure everything happened EXACTLY as I had hoped. My fiance and I were beyond thankful for her because she really enabled us to enjoy every moment of our big day!! When tiny things went wrong (and of course something will go wrong!) - Wendy always had a creative solution and did her absolute best to take care of it as quickly and quietly as possible. I was especially thankful for Wendy because I my niece (the flowergirl) had an issue come up and was unable to make it to the wedding ceremony with her dad so we were unable to get a complete family photo right after the ceremony. Very near the end of the reception, my niece and her dad finally came and Wendy orchestrated getting EVERYONE together for several complete family photos! We were SOOOOOooo thankful!! Literally the best combination you can ask for in an event coordinator. Last month I was at a Thanksgiving Dinner done by Wendy (and her assistants) that was phenomenal. The "flow" of the dinner and throughout the entire evening was exceptional. And, it was incredibly MEMORABLE! Let me start by saying that Marx Entertainment provided both DJ services and Photo Booth services…read morefor our wedding. We were very unhappy with the DJ but happy with the Photo Booth set up and staff. My husband and I had DJ Craig for our wedding in September 2023. We had two meetings with him beforehand were we discussed how we would like the night to run. In addition to a list of "must-play" songs (something we were encouraged to complete), we discussed how we would like our table-dash, anniversary dance, alumni photo, and private dance to operate. We also noted on multiple occasions during both calls that we DID NOT want a lot of remixes. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with how DJ Craig managed all of these aspects except for the table dash and private dance. Here is where our issues lie: - Out of our 30 or so must play songs maybe half were played. - As laid out on the Marx Entertainment website we chose a "last song" for the dance floor. DJ Craig played the song we designated as our last song as a way to open the dance floor. - The first 30 minutes were exclusively remixes and bad ones at that. It got to the point where we said something to DJ Craig, and while the music did get better, he still continued to play remixes. Honestly, a Spotify playlist would have been better. - The anniversary dance was something DJ Craig suggested and we loved the idea. However, instead of doing what he had described to us where he starts calling people off the dance floor after some dancing and starting with short time increments, DJ Craig called for anyone married for less than 5 years to leave the dance floor after approximately 20 seconds. People hadn't even REACHED the dance floor to start dancing at that point, including the parents of the groom. Not to mention we are a young couple and that kicked more than half of the people off the dance floor in one sweep. - College alumni photo was announced at a very weird time and very rushed. Just felt awkward - We were immediately asked once the lights turned on to provide a positive video review for DJ Craig. This was extremely uncomfortable and we gave dishonest feedback during it. We would NOT recommend him. Like I said previously, the Photo Booth staff was excellent and we loved the book they made us. We also had no issues with booking or prior communication with Marx. While the set up and logistical execution of the event went well we didn't feel our opinions were considered at all in song selection and that the fun mini-events we had throughout the night went poorly

Our DJ, Manu, went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure a successful event. He was in touch with us via phone and text a few days prior to finalize details, he arrived several (4-5!) hours early to make sure everything was set up correctly and sounding great, and once things got started I don't think he took even a 5 minute break! The music was great, he was a welcoming and enthusiastic MC, and I can't think of a single complaint. He even thanked US at the end for such a fun and warm event. We were so happy. We would hire them again in a second!

Brian was flexible, willing to listen and shoot any ideas that were given to him. Brian worked well with our videographer, and provided us with some sample photos and a USB drive in a very nice little box, great presentation! I bought a family photo shoot from my wife as a birthday present. It was a last minute birthday…read moregift as I did not know what to get her. I found his website from a google search and I am glad I did. It was easy to pay for a session on-line. Then I printed a copy of his homepage and put it in a birthday card. The next day I got a call from Brian saying he had received payment for a family session. He then asked me what I was looking for. We decided on going to Look Park for the shoot as we like the outdoors; we got married there too so it was fitting. We made an appointment to meet at the park at noon. My family and I arrived at the garden house parking lot at 11:50. Brian drove into the lot at 11:52; he had already driven around the park to scope out some places that would make for good pictures. He was very punctual. We brought a few of our son's favorite stuffed toys and a blanket. Brian opened his trunk and surprised us with a set of balloons and a cute wooden chair for him to sit it. That was cool. We made the plan of parking by the visitors center and we would walk the loop of the park and take pictures as we go. We did not want a lot of posed pictures; we wanted more casual and laid back ones. Brian was very good at giving us that little bit of direction that made the photos look so much better. He listened to what we wanted and he helped us get exactly what we wanted. He seemed very knowledgeable about photography. I don't know much about photography, but he would explain to us the different lighting of the sun and knew what scenes made the best pictures. Brian was fun to work with, easy to communicate with (email, over the phone and in person) and he knew what he was doing. We really love his website. All the photos are available for everyone to see and you can buy all sorts of things with the pictures on them (prints of all sizes, coffee mugs, cards, shirts, stamps etc.) I highly recommend Brian for your photo needs.
