Great service!! We rented a tent, tables, chairs, dance floor, linens, heater and lights for our daughters' wedding. Paul met with us at our home prior to go over the details- He is very nice and was extremely helpful. He set everything up on a Thursday for our Saturday wedding, which gave us plenty of time to get everything ready without rushing. When we started Mutton & Mead Medieval Festival back in June of 2011, we needed a big central tent to impress the festival goers, as well as protect them from the sun or rain, should it fall. Paul's prices were great, delivery and set up was responsible, respectful, and professional, and the tent was perfect. Really bad service. We decided to go with Paul Redeker against the recommendation of our caterer who warned us that the quality of the items would not be stellar. The quality of the items was totally fine with us - but the service was terrible. Paul totally threw a huge wrinkle in our plans on the day of the wedding. To begin with, Paul was really hard to get ahold of after we put down the initial deposit. I had to call several times before I could get a call or an email back to ask questions about the items we would need and confirm that he had them. Then, on the day of the wedding, the guy who delivered the items told us he would set up all the tables and move all the chairs to our ceremony location, which was about a 2 minutes drive away but quite a walk. My fiance gave him a map of the area, explained how to get there, and he told us, "no problem. I'll drive the chairs right down. And don't worry about the tables - we're going to set those up for you too!" (We hadn't even asked him about the tables! He volunteered this info on his own.) We thought - great, and continued doing other set-up tasks etc, believing that everything was taken care of. When we went back outside a couple hours later to do the table settings, the tables were still all in a pile in the middle of the dance floor and the chairs were still all there as well. The Paul Redeker guy was nowhere to be found. We called Paul who basically said that guy was mistaken and they don't do any set-up. He wasn't apologetic or helpful at all. He didn't seem to realize how inexcusable it is to promise something and then not deliver - without even letting us know! If the guy had at least come and found us to let us know that he actually was NOT going to set-up the tables or deliver the chairs, we would have at least had more time to get ready. We ended up having to enlist our guests to help carry all of the chairs down to the ceremony location, which put us way behind schedule in terms of set-up, and meant we had to sacrifice a lot of the other stuff we had been planning and still started an hour late! Also, the tent Paul had recommended was not big enough to fit all of the tables comfortably which also put us way behind schedule as we had to figure out how to rearrange. Some of the tables ended up outside of the tent which would have been a huge problem had it been raining or buggy. As if that wasn't enough, Paul then did not return the next day to pick up the tent and we were not able to reach him when we called. Our venue had another event planned so they really needed the stuff picked up! I have no idea when he actually came because once again I received no phone call or communication. I can only assume he eventually picked up the tent because I didn't hear a second complaint from the venue. My advice would be to go with a different rental company - or if you must go with Paul - double check your tent size with someone else, be prepared to have to chase Paul down for answers to your questions, and don't believe anything the set-up guys tell you. read more

Paul was awesome and very flexible on our needs, as we had to make some last minute changes to our requirements due to the weather and changing of venue! His prices beat the other companies that I checked into and he was always super responsive when I needed assistance! When it was time to find the party rentals for our wedding earlier this year, a family friend recommended Paul, and I'm so glad she did! He was absolutely wonderful. He was quick to respond over email or by phone whenever we had a question or needed to change something in our order, and everything arrived right on time the day before the wedding. His team did all the setup and tear down of the giant tent, and we had zero problems with anything he provided. We rented a tent, tables, chairs, linens, dishes, glasses, flatware, a heater and lights for a luncheon for 90 people. Everything provided worked out perfectly. The beautiful tent with sides helped us make the best of a day with less than perfect weather and the heater and lights suggested by Paul helped make our occasion fantastic. read more

We used Redeker Rental Company for our daughter's 10/19/13 wedding. He provided excellent service at very reasonable prices. Even though our event was a bit outside of the area he usually goes to, he was very willing to accommodate us. We rented a 40x80 tent, tables, chairs, and all the dinnerware. Everything was delivered on time and was of fine quality. Paul was easy to work with and responded promptly to emails and/or phone calls. We made adjustments to the number of items needed right up to a week before the event, and he was very nice about it. I highly recommend this business. read more

I had a great experience using Paul Redeker's Rental Company for a UMass graduation party I arranged for my son at his apartment in Amherst this past May. We never actually met and all the arrangements were made via his website, cell phone and e-mail but everything came off perfectly. The tent, tables and chairs arrived as scheduled and Paul's staff set everything up. We live 2 hours away from Amherst and it was such a relief to deal with a responsible and professional company, no worries at all! I also have to comment Paul on his website, it's very informative and useful, it gave me all the information I needed to decide on the size and type of tent suitable for our party. I would definitely use Paul again and I will recommend him to all our friends. My only regret is he is too far from Milton to use for parties at our home!! read more

We used Redeker for our back yard wedding this past weekend. Paul was great and very accommodating to work with, and the tent and accessories (speaker system, tables, chairs, etc.) were all great. There were some small issues with the rest of the staff that put a little damper on the experience. The tent was set up early (Wednesday instead of Friday) which was great, but the linens that were supposed to be delivered on Friday morning did not get dropped off until 8pm. We were at the rehearsal dinner until 9:30pm so we ended up having to set up the tables the morning of the wedding. The most aggravating part was having no one answer the phone when we tried to find out what time to expect them after calling four times throughout the day. The tent was then supposed to be picked up on Monday, but on Sunday afternoon (with no notice) the van arrived and the staff started taking it apart. Fortunately we had taken down all the decorations that morning, otherwise we would have been in trouble. The few things we hadn't taken care of (cans/bottles in a garbage can) were thrown on the lawn. If you're going to come a day early with no notice, at least ask for a bag. Overall it was a great weekend and the tent was beautiful, but the small details could use some work. read more
