We had tried two other local nurseries plus Lowe's and Menards without success- sad looking plants and no help who could advise us on planting for our mostly shaded area. Natorp's was completely different and above and beyond our expectations! As soon as you drive in, it's beautiful and clearly marked. The woman at the customer service desk directed us to a perennial specialist who was so knowledgeable with 30+ years of experience! She helped us find everyone on our list and more. The plants are so well organized, labeled, and easy to find. And they were so healthy- even though it was fall when we visited! I can't stress enough how helpful everyone here was. We were helped by at least 4 people who were so smiley and engaging and willing to find anything for us. They shared that they grow everything there and that they have hundreds of acres! And the prices... you would expect a place like this to charge more for the experience and plant quality but they are an outlet so the prices are amazing. My mother in law is a seasoned gardener and told us she had paid almost 3x what we were paying for some of our plants. You get the "club price" just for buying it- so easy! They will load the plants in your car after, truly taking care of you until the last moment. We were still shopping til closing time and they didn't rush us out and helped us even a few minutes before close. This was a bit of a drive from us but worth every minute! We already know we'll come back when it's time to plant more of our yard, and will recommend it to anyone in the market for plants and a wonderful customer service experience.

We also paid a significant fee--50% of the plant cost--for delivery and installation, bringing our total investment to over $2,500. Unfortunately, the plants never thrived. They turned yellow during both summer and winter and showed little to no growth. Over time, they have all died. I recently reached out to the nursery to discuss replacing them with arborvitae (at our expense) and asked if they would consider offering a discount on removal and installation. I was disappointed to be told, "there is nothing we can do." Given the outcome and lack of support, this was a frustrating experience, and we won't be returning as customers.

Don has been with them ever since I can remember, and he is always a delight to work with, too. Very small but has alot to offer. They have everything from succulents, pet friendly plants, tropical, cacti, gifts, decor, accessories and more! Knowing my lady is a total plant lover, I knew we were gonna stop by, and I'm glad we did. This shop has so many different plants to offer for plant lovers of all levels. This newer Mason location is the nicest and perhaps biggest of all the ones I have visited. It even includes a self dog wash, which trust me, is much easier than giving your dog a bath at home! It is bright, spotless, and perfectly organized. Upon entering I was immediately greeted by one of the employees who offered help if I needed it. I was looking for some unique toys for my aggressive chewing huskies for Christmas. I looked around for a little bit and then another employee offered assistance. The staff here are knowledgeable and really seem to like their jobs. They enjoy talking about your pets as well as theirs. The second employee had some serious chewers too so he gave some great recommendations. I decided on a new type of toy with a lifetime guarantee, and then got another of this great wood chew toy they make that has held up safely for months! The employee reminded me that the store itself also has a satisfaction guarantee. At checkout I was able to present a coupon, as I am a rewards member (Free).
