    Love these guys

I absolutely love these guys. The to fellas who run the truck are literally so nice. They are always open to experimenting because I like to mix up what I get. The pretzel buns are absolutely spectacular! The brats are perfectly cooked with the right amount of kick. I love you can get anything anyway. Therese cheesy ones and plain ones, everyone in the family will be completely satisfied! This month they are at L'Enfant on Wednesday's. Pop over there and say what's up!

Had their brat at a pop up beer garden in NoMa. I'm not usually a sausage person, but this was great! Wish I had some hot sauce for it, but onions were a great addition. And the pretzel bun is to die for! Soft and hearty without being salty.

This was my first time at this food truck and I will definitely return. The bacon wrapped brat was made to perfection and I loved the grilled onions on top. I wish there was an option to add a little more mustard though. My favorite addition was the pretzel bun. Great food

The Oktoberfest. I should have snapped the pic before plating it and cutting it in half.

From the moment we approached the counter window, the gentleman taking our order was kind and patient with us, as it was our first time trying Nepali fare. We ordered the Momos, a staple in Nepali cuisine, as well as the Mixed Chow Mein and the Sausage Sticks. We decided to try the Water Buffalo Momo's since we had never had it before. Wow, it was delicious! The Momos even came with a homemade chutney that was full of flavor. The Chilly Momo was our favorite and something we will definitely order again. We also loved the Mixed Chow Mein. This dish incorporates flavors from both India and China. It was such a unique taste and the toppings all tasted very fresh. Their portions are quite generous-- each Momo order came with ten pieces and we had plenty of the Chow Mein left over. Please note that this is take-out only, although they do have limited outdoor seating. We cannot wait to go back! @dcfoodgod

You can request your dumplings to be either pan-fried or steamed, and you have a choice of their homemade dipping sauces (Ginger Soy Vinaigrette, Peanut Sesame, or Spicy Basil Chili). I had heard about this food truck recently, so the hubs and I decided to stalk them and try them out for a weekday lunch. We were a little nervous, as I noticed that they can sometimes close during rainy weather, but luckily, they pushed through the rain, which eventually tapered off! We ordered the Pork and Cabbage Dumplings (pan-fried and steamed; these had a more cilantro-like flavor to the filling) and the Crunchy Vegetarian (pan-fried; these were more flat and elongated; I actually really enjoyed these, as they were great with the Ginger Soy Vinaigrette; I first thought that there was some meat inside, but I'm thinking it's either tofu or soy protein?). It was interesting that the Pork and Cabbage had more of a stronger herb-y taste rather than the Crunchy Vegetarian. The Asian Noodle Salad didn't look like the picture on their menu; however, it was still simple and fresh, made with rice noodles, sliced carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, and crushed peanuts; much better dressed with the peanut sesame sauce! The Veggie Fried Rice was tasty, especially adding the Ginger Soy Vinaigrette to it! I also tried their Lemon Ginger Tea, which I appreciated it not being too sweet. The staff here are super friendly, welcoming, and honest! They serve it up around various places in the NoVA area, so just check their social media to locate where they're at for the week. Just outside the L'Enfant Plaza Metro stop (on the Maryland Ave side), you'll know you're in the right place by the crowds of Federal office workers queuing up for their favorite truck. There's a great variety from southern soul food to barbeque, from pho and banh-mi to Indonesion, from Philly cheese steaks to gyros. My daughters each had beef pho from the Pho-Nation and Vietnamese Food trucks (piping hot flavorful broth, plenty of noodles, slices of tender beef, cilantro, and accompanied with hot sauce and lime wedges on the side); my wife had the falafel salad from the Quick Bites truck which was outstandingly tasty and light, made with a chickpea and fava bean combination with a herb blend that gave them a unique green color on the inside; while I had the gyro platter from the same truck. Excellent lamb meat, well-seasoned, good tzatziki sauce, and accompanied by a fresh salad and stewed chickpeas. About $9 each for these meals and the trucks take credit cards. Don't settle for the tourist trap food trucks lined up near the Smithsonian museums -- these are terrible with microwaved pizza slices and hot dogs only ... make the short walk to these real food trucks and you won't be disappointed.
